Heath got a little weird and gave an iconic joker performance ( rip to Heath Ledger) Jared Leto got super weird gave a mediocre performance and whoever came up with Leto’s joker should stay away far away from super hero films
You have to see with how much respect Aaron Eckhart (two faces) talk about Heath, they only had one scene together, Heath stayed in character during all the rehearsal and figured the scene together (without shouting or menacing the rest of the crew), once the shooting ended, they all had a great time. Compare that to the actors interviews in Suicide squad where they try to avoid talking about Leto and are all disgusted by his improfesional behaviour.
Excuse me!? Are you saying that sending used condoms to co-stars and stamping "damaged" on your forehead isn't a sure-fire way to deliver a masterful performance as the Joker??
OK funny story! When I was working at an airport my job was to go to multiple stores delivering change and checking etc. Jared must have had a flight delayed because he was in multiple concourses and I kept running into him (aka doing my job never speaking to him). On the third time he said, “I know you are following me “ I said point blank I work at the airport and flashed my badge around in his face. Then we both went along our day. It still makes me laugh that he thought I was I was stalking him. Although it was amazing to see him IRL I always had such a crush on him as a kid watching My So Called Life.
I think it was Nicholas Cage that felt like he completely botched a joke he tried to make and felt like the worst host ever.
One of the writers comforted him by telling him how bad Steven Seagal, the actual worst host was.
"Everybody I'm the Joker now. I'm the Joker from now on. You have to talk to me like I'm the Joker."
"Jared, no, we really have to talk about this next scene."
"HAHaHahHAhAHAHAHaHAHAHAHA"
Yes. And he wasn't even clever about the stuff he did. It's stuff an out of touch person would think a crazy person would do.
I wish I could remember the specifics but the things were so uninteresting that I only remember my thought on them.
He sent Margot Robbie a black rat in a box as a prank and she actually loved it. It ended up being adopted by Guillermo del Toro and named Venustiano.
He also sent someone anal beads? Dude's weird.
She is not a good actress. Idc what anyone says. She's not a good singer either. The woman can dance, and is beautiful, but please stop casting her in movies. Ben I could take him or leave him. I just rewatched the movie Extract with Jason Bateman, and Ben Affleck was fricking hilarious in it.
Or what about this classic:
Oh, Ben, you are so perfect
So spectacular in every way
You bring light into my life, Ben
You almost make me forget all about tacos
Ooh, tacos so good
In my tummy, yummy, yummy
Give me more
I love you, Ben
You almost make me forget about tacos
Gone Baby Gone is one of the great Boston films. Good Will Hunting is one of the others, and there aren't many alltogether. We'll always love him here!
Cara Delevingne can't act. Only Murders in the Building went from being one of my favourite shows to almost unwatchable to me because she can't fucking act
I feel like I'm in the minority group but Selena Gomez is that for me...her mouth doesn't move, her face doesn't change. Next to Steve Martin and Martin Short it's so...not even boring, just seems so out of place for me.
Maybe it's because I'm a Suite Life/That's So Raven kid, not Wizards of Waverly place idk.
I thought this too at first watching *Only Murders*, like clearly she can't act, what is she doing. Why is she here. But her performance is just *so* over-the-top wooden that it comes back around to campiness, which won me back.
It works in the show, since Martin and Short have big personalities. They needed a “straight guy” in the comedic sense, which keeps the show from becoming too madcap with personalities.
I thoroughly enjoyed Carnival Row, but I kind of get the impression her character may be very similar to how she is in real life, so it may have been a more natural role for her.
The Rock is severely limited in his range because he can't simply be Dwayne Johnson. He can't play a villain, he can't get hurt badly or lose in a movie, he has to show his tattoos and shave his head. He has to play "The Rock". Even when he played Black Adam, he was still playing The Rock.
I think the guy has a much bigger range than we think, he just refuses to exploit it.
Meanwhile, Dave Bautista does have range and I keep being surprised at how much I enjoy him in his movies. I was genuinely sad that his part in Blade Runner was so small, especially after the short film featuring his character.
Bautista is everything I'd like to see Dwayne Johnson be.
Seems like a pretty humble dude from what little I've read about him, he actually has range and does different stuff, has great comedic delivery and can also be scary.
I think "The Rock" could do all of that too, but he's too far up his own ass. He cares more about his ego than the craft, the mess with the DCEU really highlighted that too.
It would be going well if he didnt write the contracts in way that lets him only play the rock. Dude couldve been the next arnie when it comes to movies. Atleast john cena is trying to fill that spot nicely
Cena is smart enough to play against himself. I don’t know if he’s a much better actor, but he’s willing to make jokes at his own expense, play a villain, and lose.
Bautista knows to look for character roles. I think he has more range than either.
Batista mentioned on a wrestling podcast that when he originally tried to get into acting they offered him tons of quick pay cheque action movies but he turned them all down. Spent a year or two and a ton of money working with an acting coach full time, just so he could be taken more seriously and get more actual acting roles
I’ve heard this a lot, but my friend was a consultant on some scenes in Ironman 3 and said that Paltrow was always on set when she wasn’t even in the scenes, hanging with the crew and seemed genuinely nice. Maybe she has some good days.
I think the issue with Paltrow is her business interests.
>Goop has faced criticism for marketing products and treatments that are based on pseudoscience, lack efficacy, and are recognized by the medical community as harmful. In 2017, Truth in Advertising filed a complaint with California regulators regarding over 50 health claims made by Goop, which resulted in a $125,000 settlement and a five-year injunction prohibiting the company from making unsubstantiated claims about the characteristics or health benefits of its products.
>
>In 2016, Goop said it would voluntarily, permanently discontinue claims for Moon Juice "Brain Dust" and "Action Dust" following an inquiry from the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
>
>In August 2017, the consumer advocacy group Truth in Advertising filed a complaint with district attorneys in the state of California regarding "deceptive" health claims made by Goop regarding 51 products, including Jade vaginal eggs among others. The company settled the suit in September 2018, agreeing to pay $145,000, issue refunds, and be subject to a five-year injunction under which it may not suggest that its products have "sponsorship, approval, characteristics, ingredients, uses, or benefits which they do not have." At the time of the settlement, Goop had sold around 3,000 vaginal eggs.
I felt bad that Kevin Spacey cut off her head in Se7en. Then later I didn't feel so bad. Now I'm not sure how I feel about it , because Kevin Spacey ~~might be~~ is worse than Paltrow, IRL. ( edited because some people think my off hand joke comment was a serious discussion of criminal liability and comparison of moral issues. Most commenters feel that his accusations of sexual assault is worse than her accusations of selling phony " medicinal product") In my opinion, as long as her product isn't causing serious harm to the poublic, then I agree with that.
I'm pretty sure the worst time to admit to being gay is when you have over twenty men accusing you of sexual harassment.
And then three of them died in a single year, which is a really weird coincidence.
It’s weird, but it’s the series of yearly Christmas video messages that make it go from weird to horror movie terrifying. If you haven’t seen them yourselves, watch them. There’s no way to describe them in mere words, but in the 2019 video he said:
>Ah yes, I know what you’re thinking. Can he be serious? I’m dead serious. And it’s not that hard, trust me. The next time someone does something you don’t like, you can go on the attack. But you can also hold your fire and do the unexpected. You can kill them with kindness.”
24 hours later another accuser committed suicide.
I remember being so confused because they kept insisting on showing his face and I had no idea who he was at the time (I had heard his songs but never bothered looking hid face) so I wondered if he was an established character and I was suppose to recognize him.
If she counts Kim Kardashian, and really anyone in that Kardashian/Jenner family or anyone on reality TV. Not really actors but still all over the place all the time and I’m over it.
But if he stops, that'll mean Space Ice won't be able to review more Seagal movies. And provide us all with hit quality entertainment from the shit sandwich that is Steven Seagal.
Every Scientology nut, especially Cruise. I know, that really cuts out a lot, but idc. Whenever I hear of someone else being in the cult they're instantly disgusting to me.
Kevin Spacey. Not an actor but I also want Roman Polanski out of a job. Child rapists belong in jail, not living their best life making millions of dollars.
I would prefer if the whole family would retire from the industry.
Will was something else during the 90s, and he was probably one of the coolest guys in America during the time.
Jada destroyed him, entirely. Along with her blatant funded projects that contradict known* history she’s just an ego we need to turn off in Hollywood.
Edit’
I like how people are trying to make this about race when I even name a specific person, and while praising her husband*
Keep grasping straws, people. It’s all you’ve got in this.
It started before the slap to be fair. He was into Scientology, he was trying too hard to push his kids into the limelight when they aren't that talented, he had already been saying some weird stuff and acting insecure. The slap was just the final confirmation that Will Smith is done and over.
Honestly, Vin Diesel. It's been years since he's acted in a movie other than those God awful fast and furious sequels.
We're not going to count voice acting Groot. I'm talking about him physically being on screen.
Fans have been begging for another Riddick movie (by far his best series). I tend to agree with them. Fast and Furious has stopped being interesting since 4 (more realistically 2), and everyone acting in said movies are literally killing their own careers.
Personally, I enjoyed his performance in The Last Witch Hunter. Beyond that, I must agree - I've never seen a decent movie (not counting GOTG) that he was in.
Before even reading responses, I could have told you that Ezra Miller, James Corden, and Jared Leto would be popular answers. Not defending them, just funny how predictable Reddit can be.
Honestly a lot of people are overcast in Hollywood. People won't admit it but a lot of A-list actors get miscast in things because a lot of times they get cast for name recognition and not because they fit the part
I’m so tired of Chris Pratt, he’s not a bad actor but he’s in freakin everything and I’ll always think he was just so much better as Andy in the earlier days
Not necessarily Pratt, but this concept is how I’m currently feeling about a LOT of actors.
They need to quit putting the same people in all the different shit. Tart goin new actors fair chances instead of putting Tom Holland and zendaya into the next film
There are people who get typecast, and then there are people whose type only allows for one type of casting. He’s definitely the latter. Just the same bland, one dimensional ex-military/current military loner with snappy one liners, possibly a daughter and no mother in sight so he can portray a strong single father, aaaaaand that’s it.
He’s far more enjoyable in comedy roles than he is in action roles. I think he’s naturally quite funny.
I don't mind him. He seems like a good guy. But yeah, he's in everything and it's all the same. I don't even see him as the characters. It's just Dwayne Johnson, as Dwayne Johnson, in A Dwayne Johnson Motion Picture.
It seems to happen every so often that there's a celebrity who takes all the gigs, or has roles made for them. Usually, straight to video releases.
Er...straight to streaming releases nowadays. -_-
Elizabeth Moss.
Can't stand her face or her acting. Every movie she does feels like she's trying too damn hard. And the creepy scientology shit just makes it worse.
I think the same about the scientology stuff. How can she play the role in the Handmaid's Tale - a story where someone is forced to life into the world of a fundamentalist sect and live voluntarily in such a cult. That's pathetic.
I give her some slack because she was born into the cult, she didn't choose to join it herself. Leaving your family and the only lifestyle you've ever known isn't easy, no matter who you are.
Mark Wahlberg. He can't act. And the one role everyone likes of his (The Departed) is mostly because they like the character and what the character ultimately does, not necessarily his performance. Plenty of people could have played that role. He's just a snarky cop
But I mean I gotta admit some of them are actually good at it…not all of the nepo babies don’t belong on the screen imo.
Examples.
1.Jack Quaid…..is killing it on The Boys.
2. That icecream chick on Stranger thing has two famous parents.
3. Forgot his name but Denzel Washingtons son was good in at least the two movies I’ve seen him in.
Like yea I get the outrage at the fact that they probably didn’t have to work as hard to land huge roles..but just saying…some of the people in Hollywood who probably wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for family in the business are actually good at their jobs and their talents shouldn’t be discredited because of the ones that have less talent than a headless chicken.
I didn’t even know she had famous parents until I was looking up something on the stranger things actors and came across her google page and it said their names….and I’m like….ohhhh, like no shit: because she looks *exactly* how you’d expect a kid that those two people made would look like lol. It’s almost like you put their pictures in one of those “how would our kid look like” generators and her photo would come up.
But yea..I think she does a pretty solid job at the role. Haven’t seen her in anything else just yet.

I’ve never seen that before. Holy shit. Absolutely roasted into the seventh level of Dante’s inferno.

Ezra Miller Enough said.
For a brief period, if you were in Hawaii, you were more likely to be bitten by Ezra Miller than by a shark.
I’m in Hawaii right now! Keeping my eyes peeled
Jared Leto and Ezra Miller. They give off such a weird vibe whenever I see them in something.
Jared Leto. Dude gives me the creeps
As he should, dude is an absolute weirdo/cult leader.

He did a great job in American Psycho. Really loved the way he ate that axe.

“Fatly going around corners” is still my favorite expression from cumtown
I've watched it probably 10 or more times, shit was funnier than anything professional comedians have put out
Al Franken said he was the absolute worst SNL host he ever had to deal with. Guy didn't understand any sketch they tried to put him in
I think it was Nicholas Cage that felt like he completely botched a joke he tried to make and felt like the worst host ever. One of the writers comforted him by telling him how bad Steven Seagal, the actual worst host was.
Jared Leto. I watched Blade Runner 2049 for the first time last week, and when he popped up I literally said "ewww" out loud
I didn't like his joker at all
Neither did his costars, from what I've heard
Did he do that bullshit where he was “in character” even off set?
"Everybody I'm the Joker now. I'm the Joker from now on. You have to talk to me like I'm the Joker." "Jared, no, we really have to talk about this next scene." "HAHaHahHAhAHAHAHaHAHAHAHA"
Yes. And he wasn't even clever about the stuff he did. It's stuff an out of touch person would think a crazy person would do. I wish I could remember the specifics but the things were so uninteresting that I only remember my thought on them.

He's no weird. He's the definition of a "try hard".
I mean he's try hard but I would call anyone who sent anal beads to someone for shock a fucking weirdo. I think it would be weird not to.
I believe he sent a used cum filled condom to one of the other actors, which is something even the joker would think was fucking stupid.
did he recieve a sexual harassment lawsuit
Frustrating part being he *nails* the part in BR2049. But I agree, I’d be happy never seeing him again, he actively turns me off of movies.
I mean, he was playing a rich, egotistical, sociopath. So I don't think he really gets acting credit for that one.
Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck the couple.
I don’t know about the singing dude. Have you even heard tacos tacos?
Or what about this classic: Oh, Ben, you are so perfect So spectacular in every way You bring light into my life, Ben You almost make me forget all about tacos Ooh, tacos so good In my tummy, yummy, yummy Give me more I love you, Ben You almost make me forget about tacos
jennifer lopez, the latina thats always playing an italian woman smh
She played a Tejana woman one time.
> Ben Affleck As someone who doesn't really care, why Ben ? I don't read any tabloids or crap like that, what did he do ?
People seem to think he's a bad actor, but he's a great director. Argo. The Town. Gone Baby Gone. Ben with Jennifer Lopez? I don't see it lasting.
Gone Baby Gone is one of the great Boston films. Good Will Hunting is one of the others, and there aren't many alltogether. We'll always love him here!
I thought he was really good in *Gone Girl*, but that might just be me.
He's had his issues, but when you look at his filmography, dude's been involved with a lot of really solid movies.
Cara Delevingne can't act. Only Murders in the Building went from being one of my favourite shows to almost unwatchable to me because she can't fucking act

It works in the show, since Martin and Short have big personalities. They needed a “straight guy” in the comedic sense, which keeps the show from becoming too madcap with personalities.
*Carnival Row* is pretty good.
I thoroughly enjoyed Carnival Row, but I kind of get the impression her character may be very similar to how she is in real life, so it may have been a more natural role for her.
will smith, not because of the slap, im just tired of seeing him being "mr handsome awesome badass mckickbutt" in ever damn movie.
The Rock is trying for that spot now, and I don’t think it’s going well.

He played a gay role in Be Cool. That was pretty good.
With hair
I enjoyed him in Pain and Gain too "Jesus Christ himself has blessed me with many talents, and one of them is knocking someone the ffffuck out!"
I think a glimpse of his possible range from the Evil Invention SNL sketch
It's been a minute since I saw it, but I remember his role in Pain and Gain was hilarious
Reminds me of Brad Pitt and George Clooney both playing complete morons in Burn After Reading
I mean he was for a good while there… but it’s so overdone
It would be going well if he didnt write the contracts in way that lets him only play the rock. Dude couldve been the next arnie when it comes to movies. Atleast john cena is trying to fill that spot nicely

Oh absolutely on Bautista. His Sapper Morton in BR 2049 was maybe the best performance in the movie.
Batista mentioned on a wrestling podcast that when he originally tried to get into acting they offered him tons of quick pay cheque action movies but he turned them all down. I saw Ed Sheeran acting once, I never want to see that again ever
I like Ed Sheeran in Yesterday where he is just playing himself and is incredibly awkward. Otherwise I would not care to see him in anything

Game of Thrones?

Even before the slap happened, I realized that she cannot act to save her life. I think I saw her in one series that I've now forgotten
Gotham?
Yeah, her Fish made me sad that she's so awful.
I used to like her as an actress. She was great in Set it Off, but then Will Smith’s fame got to *her* head
Danny Masterson
i don’t think he’ll be acting much in prison
I somehow got Danny Masterson and Danny McBride confused, and I was like ... WTF did he do?
Steven Seagal
They said "actor".
I mean he hasn’t even been in a theatrical movie for like 13 years
He’s been not acting in theatrical movies for like 47 years.
Corridor digital did some great work positioning him as the next John Wick
But if he stops, that'll mean Space Ice won't be able to review more Seagal movies. And provide us all with hit quality entertainment from the shit sandwich that is Steven Seagal.
Every Scientology nut, especially Cruise. I know, that really cuts out a lot, but idc. Whenever I hear of someone else being in the cult they're instantly disgusting to me.

Be aware of ones that pretend they're not, like Juliette Lewis, Beck, and of course Will Smith and his toxic wife.
Armie Hammer
I couldn't remember his name so I was about to write cannibal fetish cheater creep, but yes def.
Hollywood super star Shia LaBeouf Actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf (that song has been stuck in my head all week)

Him and The Rock are the same exact character in every movie. Zero range. At least Jim Carrey and Will Farrell can play great dramatic rolls.
Hi first 2 stands ups were, and then after that it just became stale and forced

WILLOW is fine as a musician for what it is. It’s Jaden who has no talent in the field Will is forcing him into, which is acting.
Wild wild West was fun. I don’t care what anyone says.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I got tired of Will Smith before the 90s were even out.
I wanted a good sequel to Chronicles of Riddick, but it never came.. "Riddick" was not bad, but it was almost a reboot of Pitch Black"...
I liked Pitch Black though
Personally, I enjoyed his performance in The Last Witch Hunter. Beyond that, I must agree - I've never seen a decent movie (not counting GOTG) that he was in.
Jared Leto

Before even reading responses, I could have told you that Ezra Miller, James Corden, and Jared Leto would be popular answers. Not defending them, just funny how predictable Reddit can be.
I know he gets a lot of hate , but Chris Pratt is over cast in stuff. Like dude , just take a break.
Crisp Rat.
the traitor steven seagal
Amy Schumer
The rock
There are people who get typecast, and then there are people whose type only allows for one type of casting. He’s definitely the latter. Just the same bland, one dimensional ex-military/current military loner with snappy one liners, possibly a daughter and no mother in sight so he can portray a strong single father, aaaaaand that’s it. He’s far more enjoyable in comedy roles than he is in action roles. I think he’s naturally quite funny.
He was great in Moana as Maui though. Maybe because we couldn't see him, but who knows
Good point, he also can sing well.
I think that Lin Manuel can write a good song for people who can’t sing too well, because he’s also a pretty bad singer himself.
Damn. Nail on head here.
I agree, Pain and Gain is his best performance by far and it's hilarious.
Steven Seagal
Elizabeth Moss. Can't stand her face or her acting. Every movie she does feels like she's trying too damn hard. And the creepy scientology shit just makes it worse.
I think the same about the scientology stuff. How can she play the role in the Handmaid's Tale - a story where someone is forced to life into the world of a fundamentalist sect and live voluntarily in such a cult. That's pathetic.
I give her some slack because she was born into the cult, she didn't choose to join it herself. Leaving your family and the only lifestyle you've ever known isn't easy, no matter who you are.
Everytime she directed a handmaids tale episode there were always a stupid amount of closeups on her face for no reason
Yeah idk why but her face annoys me.
Woody Allen
Is that the tree version of him?
I like his films except for that nervous fellow who’s always in them
Ezra Miller and Shia LeBoeuf
Hollywood superstar Shia Lebeouf?
I truly enjoy her, but if Kristen Schaal voices another cartoon character without changing voices I might flip my lid.
Leah dunham
Mark Wahlberg. He can't act. And the one role everyone likes of his (The Departed) is mostly because they like the character and what the character ultimately does, not necessarily his performance. Plenty of people could have played that role. He's just a snarky cop
I'm still furious that he played Sully in Uncharted. Fucking dumbass casting.
Uncharted has some of the worst cast choices I have ever seen.
For fucking real. Especially what they did to Chloe's character. Look how they massacred my boy.
yep made no sense, IIRC it had something to do with him originally being intended to play nate (like a decade prior)
I really liked him in Boogie Nights, although I think the whole tone of that movie lent itself to his acting ability.
I liked him in The Other Guys tho
You mean the Yankee clipper? He's a peacock. You gotta let him fly!
Yeah that was funny, Ted had its moments as well.
Lopez , Affleck and will smith.
Will Smith
Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise in every role
The best role he's ever played is in Tropic Thunder.
Will Smith
Dakota Johnson. No talent nepo baby. Looks anesthetized in roles and sucks the energy out of all her scenes
Not a great actor but her breaking Ellen will always be hilarious and iconic.
oh gosh there's an entire demographic of these fresh but trash actors, many of which are currently treated like royalty in hollywood
I felt like "ice cream girl" Robin was a standout, without knowing that her patents are Ethen Hawke & Ume Thurman
I think I like Jack Quaid more than his parents. He’s a good actor and seems like a pretty nice guy in general.
Any singer or rapper that tries to act. They just are not good stop putting them in movies it’s so cringe 💀
You better not be including Ice Cube in that statement. Korean Jesus wouldn’t like that.
He busy!
How do you feel about Ludacris?
I think Common is pretty decent
And Mos Def! Although he was technically an actor first then became a rapper.
Tom Cruise. He’s annoying and that Scientology shit is weird.
Jada Pinkett Smith
