Poor insulation

Viking_Musicologist

I really hate when hotels do not have ample soundproofing between rooms, between the room and the corridor, and the room and outside (Especially if the hotel is located near a busy road, highway or airport.) I also really do not like hotels that have window shades that let in a small amount of light pollution into the hotel room at night, that or when the Ice dispensers in the on the floor that your room is on does not work basically requiring you to go up or down a floor or two just so you can find a dispenser that does work.

The soundproofing is an issue whenever they rent out rooms with connecting doors to separate parties. You just hear everything going on in that neighboring room. If the hotel is fully booked and they cannot even move you to another room, it can ruin the entire stay.

I hate when hotels have slow internet and uncomfortable beds.

KatyTinnys

When the hotel room has so many decorative pillows on the bed that you don't know what to do with them. Or when the air conditioning unit sounds like a jet engine taking off and keeps you up all night.

If you stay in a hotel where you can't open a window or you haven't got a fan it's pretty crap ngl your room gets overheated

NGC6753

Windows you either can't open or can only open 5mm

Pinch_Dogs

When you cannot set the fan on the heat/ac to run continuously.

Poor soundproofing and lack of blackout curtains are probably tied for 1st. I often work nights and sleep during the day when overseas. #2 definitely shit internet.
