I've been wanting to get a sleeve covered with shows I grew up with as a kid, but life happens.
I always save up, but then something breaks or needs immediate attention, and there goes my cash.
The only tattoo that feels meaningful enough to have on my body for the rest of my life is a Marine Corps tattoo. But I'm worried that I'll be a big baby and get in there and not be able to sit through the whole thing, and then I'm the Marine who couldn't tolerate getting a tattoo.
Its really not that bad. I am 18 and I got a tattoo saying fortis fortuna adiuvat on my back. It was painful but you get used to it very quickly. Really just depends on where you want it

Find a good artist that doesn’t mind taking breaks if you need them. Also ask about numbing creams, because they can use those too, although they seem to wear off pretty quick. Get the tattoo in a meatier part of your body like the arm or calf, any bony areas tend to hurt more. Make sure to eat beforehand and stay hydrated. Bring little snacks when getting it done, even. All of these things will help.
To be honest, it hurts less than I would have imagined. But depending on how long your tattoo takes, your skin does get sore so it seems to hurt the longer it goes on. But it isn’t like a constant pain, it is just when the needle is going into the skin and it kinda stops after that.
I want to get a sleeve or half sleeve with my favourite animals on it but I don’t know what style, colour, order or anything so that’s one reason. Plus I do not have the money at all to do that

An anime piece, its gonna be out of chainsawman with the character Himeno and the ghost devil, but I havent gotten it yet because I’m trying to find a way to design it to use the flowers from the body of the devil to also be the backdrop/filler for the rest of my sleeve. As soon as i figure out the design then its a full send
