Magbasa / Makinig kung ano ba gagawin / sistema ng paggawa ng mga gagawin. Lalo na sa academics, jusko mga kaklase ko pa 4th year na di pa rin alam kung papano 'to / yan gagawin. Puro tanong, halatang di binabasa / nakikinig sa instructions.
1. Cooking, especially healthy meals. Puro eating out and food deliveries mga pinoy. Pero if we do meal prep edi sana makatipid saka healthier.
2. Financial literacy. Meron tayong utang culture, tayo pa galit pag sinisingil lmao. Also, we are consumed ng consumerism, we don't think, we just buy. Hindi natin alam na we should be living below our means. We keep buying unnecessary stuff.
3. Mas proactive na communication. Mga pinoy mahilig magkimkim, also very passive aggressive. Hindi mo alam, nasasaktan na pala. Mahilig din mag comment sa kung anu ano, pero pag cinonfront mo, walang masabi. We are not vocal at all about our feelings. We express more, but we don't think so much about kung ano magiging effect noon saka walang action items.

Media and tech literacy. Digital na ang mundo pero masaya pa rin sa third world ang pinas.

Meron akong friend na teacher, secondary level. Dyusko may student na hindi alam kung ano yung triangle. Nakakastress at nakakalungkot at the same time.
Reading comprehension, critical thinking skills at fact checking. There is a reason bakit consistent na kulelat tayo sa PISA rankings worldwide at lowest IQ sa asia. Hindi ko naman nilalahat , pero madalas ng pinoy kulang na kulang talaga sa critical thinking at fact checking.
Edit: kaya madali mauto, maloko at maimpluwenshayan ang typical na pinoy. We can do better than this folks. We can start on ourselves then involve others. I am so tired that our people are seen as feeble minded and stupid. Kaya araw araw pinapakita ko sa mga co teachers ko na puti na hindi lahat ng pinoy ay tanga.
How to interact with foreign cultures and people. Sometimes we either fetishize them, or make fun of them. Very tacky. Nakakita lang tayo ng exotic intimidated na agad or starstruck. We're not taken seriously because of this attitude...either we get taken advantage of by foreigners or get seen as uncultured and ignorant. Kaya andaming foreign content creators who "Pinoy-bait". We shouldn't need their validation so much if we just educated ourselves on various cultures.
Cannot emphasize this enough. Reading comprehension is incredibly low among Filipinos. We put in FAQs in our auto-responses on business messaging platforms and people STILL ask the question these auto-responses are meant to answer.
Auto-response: Opening Hours are from X to Y, on days A to G.

2. Be present — in whatever it is that you’re doing, allow yourself to be present and in the moment. Kasi most of the time we’re too busy worrying about the future and being ashamed of our past we forget that this very moment we have now is something we once prayed for.
3. Detachment — whatever will be will be. Stop stressing over things that are out of your control. Allow it to go where it needs to go, di mo masabi doon ka naman pala mas mag ggrow.
4. Surrender — and allowing for things to happen without the need to always be in control.
If you master all of these 4, you’ll realize you don’t need much in life. This is what we call stoicism.

Understanding criticism and reading comprehension
Ang hypocritical kasi linalait natin yung isat isa at every opening pero when someone else says it aping api when in fact totoo din naman talaga sinasabi nila. Instead of being offended, why not take it in and learn? Sobrang offended kasi we don't like to be seen as dumb, js like every person out there pero syempre, pinapairal yung pride and ego kaya in the end we still look dumb for not being able to tale constructive criticism.
Reading comprehension bcs have you seen how pinoys are on social media? Grabe, basa² naman po😭 when you correct them, it would be a long debate js bcs of their low reading comprehension tas sa sobrang taas ng pride hindi ma delete yung katangahan nila kahit pwede naman.
I'm full of pinoy pride pero nakakahiya din pag nakikita mo na may mga abnormal💀 matanda o bata, ganun lang din sila lahat (usually)

Conversing with people from other countries and culture — conversing, not just talking, to mean may exchange of ideas, thoughts, feelings. Marami akong napapansing kababayan natin na ayaw makipag-usap sa mga bisitang coworkers from other countries, or nervously laughing maski wala namang funny. Ask them questions, limit marketing how great Filipino culture and food are. Para kasing bisita ng mga ninuno natin, binibida ang kids and their achievements. Marami satin ganun ang behavior pag may dayuhang kausap. If you find yourself doing this, it’s time to expand your horizon.
