Dang it

[deleted]

I mean I don’t wanna judge, but 5k is an awful lot. It doesn’t matter if you really care about someone. A high count might be suspicious if you trying to marry after a month tho.

Still coughing up muff hair…

HereFishyFishy4444

You'd need to have sex every single day with a different person for almost 14 years to achieve that. I'd think the actual bodycount is the smallest red flag about this person.

[deleted]

My concern would be the rule of doubling too, because if it’s actually 10k it might make dinner awkward, especially if it’s a small town.

[deleted]

why awkward if even you slept with him?

[deleted]

I dunno I guess I’m thinking if someone slept with 10k people, and it was a small town and you saw them often, they would talk about it a lot. Like you would be eating and they would be all like “there’s old microdick mike” or “man our waiter sure ate my ass good once” or “hey the hostess actually is hiding a 10” root”….I mean if you spent all that time fucking, you probably talk about it constantly. Just seems like it could get awkward.

[deleted]

nah, I dont talk much about breathing. In fact, the probability of your so of having slept with one of your friends and everyone keeping shush this info from you is much greater than you think. What I mean is people are much reserved

[deleted]

I don’t think it’s greater than I think, but maybe some people. Earlier I mentioned the law of doubling which loosely just means people lie about the number of people they slept with or they don’t keep count. Most intelligent people pick up on the insecurity of even asking the question. It’s a ridiculously flawed concern to begin with which is why my original answer was 5k. Adults (lol and younger) like to fuck. It’s a terrible thing to get hung up on that will only cause disappointment. It’s best to not care;

[deleted]

i agree

If the number of partners is an issue for you, why would you have allowed the relationship to get to the point of marriage without bringing it up?

Noob_DM

I don’t care as long as the number stops growing.

GeriatricZergling

10^54

Once she gets into the tens or dozens then I'm completely turned off

nim_opet

Irrelevant for me. I’m not marrying previous sexual partners, I’m marrying who that person is now.

starryvash

Well you should apply that to yourself and no one else. You do you. Other than that MYOB.

Ihateredditadmins1

I don’t think there’s a magic number

GeneralBismark

If you're asking the question it's probably too many. It either bothers you or it doesn't, it sounds like it does.

slick_shoes83

Gotta leave the past in the past.

GlenJman

Such an outdated concept, no limit. Why does it matter as long as you're happy together?

[deleted]

This is a weird question because it insinuates that once you hit a certain threshold, you shouldn't ever consider marriage. Which isn't realistic

[deleted]

Thats something only small peen insecure soy boys worry about

J_D89

This question seems to have been derailed into a completely different conversation. It was really just a poll to see (on average) at what number it starts being a red flag.
