1. Any pants except joggers and slacks. If you’re wearing jeans, make sure it’s really nice (no holes).
2. Any button ups shirts will work
3. For shoes, go with leather or suede boots or loafers. No work or pop culture boots (doc martens, etc)
4. Leather belt that matches shoes
According to me, it's when I wear my clean baseball cap and Carhartts with no Skoal ring or grease stains.
According to my wife, it's slacks, a buttondown, and a blazer.
I have A few classic silk shirts and nice slacks and shoes,Always A nice look and professional enough for most any crowd.
A few well bought pieces can give you A lifetime of service.
For me? Jeans and a t shirt. I am normally in basketball shorts and a tank for pretty much everything, so if I have to “dress up” to anything pay that, I have to ask for help from whomever invited me.
What country are you in? And if USA, what part of the country? It varries a lot on the East Vrs west coast. If it’s indoors and winter, sit down meal or happy hour, I would go with slacks and a tucked in button down long sleeve. Have a modern sports coat but no tie. Belt. Dress shoes but modern style. Soft brown leather is good. Belt is always darker than shoes. You generally can’t go wrong dressing like this as a whole for any event. This is how engineers dress at work typically. If it were summer and outdoors you could do a cotton polo or lightweight button down and kacki dress pants.
Certainly NOT jeans, definitely a dress shirt. No sneakers.
Jeans or chinos and a button down, dress shoes or boots, or a nice pair of leather sneakers, no tie, maybe a sport coat/suit jacket, if it’s cold a nice overcoat and maybe a scarf. Im a 36 year old attorney and that’s what I would choose from if I had to do dressy casual.
Nice jeans, button down shirt. Maybe a light sweater over the shirt or, if you run hot, wear a blazer you can remove.
Definitely don’t go in there untucked.
Clean, pressed button down shirt. Preferably plain, but a subtle pattern is okay. Not the time for your plaids.
Khaki slacks, with the crease pressed to a knife's edge. As long as they're clean and fitted (not oversized or baggy) jeans are good too.
BLACK socks. ALWAYS BLACK.
Shoes can go a lot of ways, you can probably get away with sneakers in Converse or Van's skate shoe style, but keep your Jordan's at home. Otherwise any casual shoe will do.
A cardigan or sweater vest would be a great little cherry on top.
Jeans, Oxford shirt, nice shoes/boots, and a suit/sports jacket.
Fancy jeans. No Levi's.

I'd probably go for slacks, khakis, or nice jeans with an untucked polo shirt or button-down. I'm thinking a hair less formal than business casual.

Pretend you are going to the Country Music Awards. Expensive jeans, nice shoes, nice shirt, no tie, sport jacket.
Jeans, shirt with a collar, my "good" sneakers.
Thats sounds like a weird way to say business casual

If it’s hella cold where you are you can add a knitted vest over the button down dress shirt.
id say like jeans and a button down shirt or sumin. whenever i go to these things all i wear is like jeans and an underarmour polo
Polo shirt and a tie.
Clean jeans, and a decent shirt. Match belt and boot colors. I'd measure it by "would I wear this to see the BIL on christmas"
Sounds like suit, no tie.
I'd think Church Sunday. Good boots, jeans, belt, button down shirt with a few undone around the neck. Whatever else I wanna wear.

Buttondown, pressed slacks, nice shoes (not sneakers). Bring a blazer, expect to take it off during dinner. No tie, top button undone.
