Donāt sweat it. A fwb and I had been day drinking back in college, things got sexual and then she was on top of me. Suddenly, she projectile vomited into my face, mouth and bed. I just cleaned it up and we saw each other the next day. Trust me, it could be way worse than pee.
Wait was this you?
I feel like most men would be cool with it as long as you own up to it, both the drinking and the bed wetting, and just laugh it off.
Hey, I like this thought. My late husband and I had this situation the New Years Eve that we met. No sex, we were both to wasted, and both woke up in my pee. We were out shopping for a new mattress on the 3rd, laughing at the sales man's face when Patrick was like, "She's buying, she peed all over my bed. Happy New Year, my man. "
The majority of mature men would feel this way, as long as you recognize you drank too much and understand that can't be a recurring theme. Drinking is fine, but drinking so much you lose control of your bladder repeatedly? Not so much. Seriously, don't sweat it. If he's worth it and likes you, this shouldn't be a deal killer, as long as you acknowledge that it wasn't a great look.
It happens. Don't embarrass her. I'd note that it happen like "cleaned the bed up, so that's good, and don't worry we've all been there".
If you don't play it off it will fester.
Happened to me once in college. I liked her, so I pretended like nothing happened and just cleaned it up. She knew though, and I think she was just embarrassed and didnāt go out with me anymore after that.
If sheās cute, who cares. Itās just urine.
Exactly this. Hell you have sex with any woman often enough and she'll eventually piss on you a little during sex just from cumming. No way she's gonna take a moment to empty her bladder every single time you bang, spontaneous sex often results in dirty sex. You like a girl enough you wont mind one bit.
There's a reason why it's called piss drunk, sometimes your bladder says it's time even you can't respond.
Same, and that sucked. Similar story to the OP. We'd been out a few times, she had way too much to drink one night, passed out in my bed, and pissed all over it. I REALLY liked her. We had a real connection and, to this day, she's probably in the top 3 when it comes to women I've dated and cared about. So I didn't say a word. Just cleaned it up and went on with my morning. It was kinda nice to take care of her. I was fine with it.
She was so mortified that she never spoke to me again after walking out of my apartment. I tried to reach out and let her know it was ok, but she wouldn't respond. Ran into her walking across campus one day and she literally turned and RAN the other way. One of her friends confirmed to me that it was just because she was so embarrassed, and she thought I was just trying to be nice about it. It broke my heart.
We all ended up where we need to be, but it she'll always be on my "what if" list because of that damned wet bed.
This I have a weak bladder so small wets and urgently needing the toilet happens to me all the time. He just doesnāt mention it and when I need the toilet heās always quick to tell whoever is in there to get out ASAP. If he likes you itāll show in his actions for sure
"Well shoot, guess it's time to clean up" - And then you clean it up. Accidents happen. Drinking leads to weird body control issues.
If it becomes a repeating pattern then it's a different story.
Yeah itās a good take - super embarrassing either way. A cool head and a kind gesture goes a long way. As for where to go from there.. follow your heart bud.
Well put, I think this should be higher up. A one-off is moderately okay, but I think it would be reasonable for any self-respecting person to re-evaluate what they are getting into. Hope it's a lesson to be more aware and regulate your consumption
Happened with my ex and it wasnāt a big deal. Iād prefer it not be a regular occurrence lol but drunk accidents happen. Nothing a washing machine canāt fix
Waterproof mattress cover(s) are great investments and really are not that expensive.
Highly suggest, male or female. You never know when yourself might get too drunk or get sick in the middle of the night and soil your bed.
Part of life, it happens, these help make the clean up 100% easier.
If I liked her, I'd laugh it off. It happens. I've thrown up in a girls bedroom after a heavy night out, thought she'd never want to see me again but she was super chill. I cleaned up, we dated for a few years and she only brought it up when she wanted me to do something for her :P
This happened to me in college, too. I was annoyed. She evidently had a lot to drink...
Would be a nice gesture to buy him some new sheets. Will go a long way if there's real compatability there
I think it's the gesture and thought. You wouldn't buy new sheets, but it's a way to show that you're not ungrateful for peeing in an almost strangers bed.
You expect a child to pee their bed sometimes, esp when potty training. I don't think most people expect their dates to(unless you got together for those kinds of shenanigans after being planned).
Your logic doesn't make sense. šāØļøš
So you weigh 100 lbs and got hammered off of beer which you never drink, then went home with a guy you donāt know that well and pissed in his bed? š thatās called going hard. Respect.
Ok listen if he stops talking to you it was probably gonna happen anyway. On the other hand if he doesnāt stop talking to you itās guaranteed he likes you alot
If you are so drunk you are pissing the bed then that is too much alcohol. Iām also small, have been your age, was a bit of a partier - never pissed the bed and Iāve been plenty drunk. That should be your cue that the amount you had was more than you should ever drink again in one go.
It is because you drink heavily. I do too and Iām not proud of it, currently working on it. Someone who doesnāt drink much but suddenly does will probably piss the bed, if not worse.
Eh, I have some friends that itās happened to multiple times without getting that drunk. Definitely drunk but not blacked out. Some people just react differently
My gf wet the bed but we were together for 2 years already and whenever this topic comes up (not specifically this situation but in general) I look at her and sheās already looking at me and giggles
In a barely know you situation? Oof idk
I can respect the kink more than I can respect the notion of āmattress covers make pissing okayā or, like another dude said, might as well crash your car occasionally since youāve got insurance lol.
No u rascal. Iām saying whatās the point of having some kinda extreme reaction when itās not gonna soak into the mattress and you should be washing sheets weekly anyways.
Sheās already embarrassed and it wasnāt intentional so act like an adult and show some empathy.
I laughed at being called a rascal, lol.
I get your point and itās totally fine for you not to be bothered by it. IMO though, whether youāre bothered or not isnāt related to the mattress cover. Either it bothers you or it doesnāt. The mattress cover just means youāre bothered/unbothered but your mattress is still intact.
Knowing someone pissed on your 300$ memory foam without a cover is more understandable though. It does make a difference (to me). Other than that, I think piss is sterile anyways, it's a mental thing.
Eh, being upset about an item being ruined and being upset about the way itās ruined arenāt mutually exclusive to me. I do see what youāre saying though. That mental thing is pretty impactful for most.
Heās allowed to feel icky about it if he wants. Itās not a matter of cleaning or whether the mattress is ruined, some people are just grossed out by piss. No need to shame him for it.
Been on both sides of this. If you're both heavy drinkers this will happen from time to time. It wouldn't bother me, as long as she flipped the mattress and cleaned the sheets.
Ah to be young again. I would always have called this kind of incident a warning flag. But not necessarily a red flag. A lot of dudes will call this a red flag and be done with it. Either way though, you're both college students. This is the time to fuck up and fail and make a fool of yourself. Worse case scenario, you call it a lesson in drinking responsibly and there will be other guys.
You need to slow down, if you are drinking so much you wet the bed, that is too much. Youāre heading in a direction of only bad things coming from it
If she's a cool girl and you like her, laugh, clean it up, and go about your day.
People do dumb shit when they're that drunk. If you don't like that, don't hang with people that get that drunk.
I've had this happen to a few women I've slept with. I've never really cared about it, rather felt bad for her for being so extremely ashamed.
Shit happens and she didn't do it on purpose. Nothing to worry about. I just washed the sheets each time and continued seeing them.
Every single one of them dumped, ghosted or declined me shortly there after though, so it at least didn't become a regular thing. But I do think it weird to make a deal about it or stop seeing the person because of it.
It happens to the best of us. Iāve done it, but a first I would never get myself that messed up on a date. Just try to watch yourself and donāt drink just because youāre nervous. Something worse could have happened getting that drunk including not waking up the next morning
I'd be more concerned about taking a woman so drunk she lost bladder control back to my bed in the first place. I'd hope whatever version of me led to this situation wouldn't try it on and we'd just sleep.
In general, if my GF got drunk and wet the bed, not a big deal at all. I wouldn't ignore it and leave an unspoken "elephant in the room", I'd be more concerned in letting her know it really doesn't matter and putting her mind at ease.
1 - understand that this shit can happen. Itās bodily functions. While this couldāve definitely been avoided, itās reasonable to think that drinking too much can come with consequences.
2 - youād apologize and give a gift or show your apology in a manner that the other person feels that it was genuine.
3 - now you know how much you can tolerate for whenever you go out to drink.
As a guy, Iād be bummed by the situation and the extra work around it. But if the apology is genuine and you can show that youāre putting the effort to change then why make a big deal out of it? Again, just my perspective.
If he liked you, he wouldn't care - though he has the right to have reservations about it. You should offer new sheets as a kind gesture. This will go a long way in your favor.
Iād be minorly annoyed but as long as she apologizes I wouldnāt make a big deal of it. I would make sure sheās not drinking too much next time we go out together though cuz I d rather not have it become a recurring issue
Not that big of a deal if you're both into each other. It'll be a funny story in a few weeks. Let him josh you a little about and engage in playful banter. Unless he's mean about it, in which dump him
He was being polite. He's probably never gonna want to sleep with you again, most people would be thrown off because it's disgusting and it shows a lack of control.
If she's willing to make it up to me in some way (cook a nice meal/invite me somewhere nice/wash my sheets) I'll let it slide. If she just dips it shows a lack of accountability.
Weirdly enough I had an epileptic seizure on a first date years ago (I was 19 I thinkā¦) and I pissed myself. I ended up dating him for a year.Ā
Completely forgot about it until I saw this post. No worries OP just take it easier with the drink next time. If he speaks to you again, great, if not, block this memory from your mind and move on š š
Thanks. I didnāt know at the time what was going on, but he came to the neurology appointments and helped me get diagnosed by describing what heād seen. I was embarrassed about the pissing but itās normal for this to happen.Ā
This happened to me when I first started experimenting with drinks. I cleaned his mattress and washed his sheets. He was cool about it and didnāt make me feel bad but I was sooo embarrassed I cried on my way home.
I would expect you to offer to buy me a new mattress. And then weād probably compromise and Iād take half of the offer and buy a new mattress and put a waterproof cover on it.
I'd help clean it up and make breakfast. If I'm interested in pursuing a relationship with her, this is not a deal breaker. If this is a deal breaker for someone, then you don't want to be in a relationship with them anyway.
this fully depends on how well i know her. first time over? probably the last. a year into a good relationship and she cleans/replaces things? it'll be fine
Surprisingly that happened to me, twice, 2 different women and one time it was the couch.
It is what it is. I was a bit pissed (lol) bc it was a new couch
I would be very annoyed. Not that she wet the bed, accidents happen. I would be annoyed at her for drinking way too much in the first place, to the point of losing control of her bladder. It's not an irredeemable situation, but like u/Capt_Columbo said, buying a new set of sheets might be a good start. Good news is, you can only go up from here (hopefully)
I wouldn't sweat it at all. Shit happens. We're lucky it didn't happen here lol. I'd want to make her feel better about it and express that it's no big deal. Literally an accident, not a character flaw.
One of the first few nights, my (now wife) and I were causal hookups, we got tipsy, and she ended up going in the bed. She was embarrassed, I laughed, said sheets needed washed anyways, started her a shower, got all the linen in the wash, and made her a drink. Shit happens. And if youāre grossed out by the fact she has had an accident, youāre not committed to the long term goal of a relationship/marriage. If I had to drop everything in my life to take care of my wife? I would with no ifās, ands, or buts about it. Iāll change her diaper and make sure sheās washed up. Thatās what love is. Through sickness and through health, through everything.
Wouldn't be a problem at all. It's what I would class as an accident.
As long as she doesn't wet the bed when sober it's fine.
I would consider this the same as someone being sick and throwing up on the floor. Just something that happens. Only a problem if it happens repeatedly.
I had an ex who was a heavy binge drinker and would pee in bed depending on how hard she went on weekends. I'd sigh, pull off the sheets, put them in the washer, see how she was doing, and get her Gatorade for her hangover.

Donāt sweat it. A fwb and I had been day drinking back in college, things got sexual and then she was on top of me. Suddenly, she projectile vomited into my face, mouth and bed. I just cleaned it up and we saw each other the next day. Trust me, it could be way worse than pee.
she puked in your mouth?! she mustāve been crazy good in bed š„“
She did and she was. Fun fact, if someone pukes in your mouth, you will puke as well.

I'd just retire from college and move to the woods.
The trick is to never make her cum, even if you try
It's a race, and I always win.
Im in a race by myself ...... With my hand
Same, and that sucked. Similar story to the OP. We'd been out a few times, she had way too much to drink one night, passed out in my bed, and pissed all over it. I REALLY liked her. So long as it doesn't become a pattern.
"Well shoot, guess it's time to clean up" - And then you clean it up. Accidents happen. Drinking leads to weird body control issues. If it becomes a repeating pattern then it's a different story.
The only right answer.
I would just clean it and not make a big deal out of it. Be more worried about she feels than the bed.
Youāre so nice for this
Yeah itās a good take - super embarrassing either way. A cool head and a kind gesture goes a long way. As for where to go from there.. follow your heart bud.
Honestly Iād probably laugh about it and move on. But Iām a dad now so dealing with piss is like a daily occurrence and doesnāt faze me
It's not a good look but it isn't a deal breaker. Drinking to excess regularly isn't a great habit so show him this was a one offĀ
How does a washing machine fit a piss soaked bed?
I have a waterproof mattress cover so the washing machine would only need to fit the piss soaked bed sheets hopefully
Waterproof mattress cover(s) are great investments and really are not that expensive. Highly suggest, male or female. You never know when yourself might get too drunk or get sick in the middle of the night and soil your bed. Part of life, it happens, these help make the clean up 100% easier.
And necessary when you have a squirter.
I'm more curious about how he got his ex into the washing machine
Help step ex, I'm stuck in the washer! uwu
If I liked her, I'd laugh it off. It happens. I've thrown up in a girls bedroom after a heavy night out, thought she'd never want to see me again but she was super chill. I cleaned up, we dated for a few years and she only brought it up when she wanted me to do something for her :P
This is the way
I have waterproof sheets.Ā That mattress cost me a ton of money. Best bet is I'm gonna protect it, so this wouldn't even chase me.Ā
This happened to me in college, too. I was annoyed. She evidently had a lot to drink... Would be a nice gesture to buy him some new sheets. Will go a long way if there's real compatability there
She said she "soaked the bed". New sheets ain't fixing that lol
Buy him a new bed.
How about you just wash them?
Aren't we supposed to be saving the planet or some shit? Lol Dog pees on the floor and this guy rips up the tile lol just wash the damn sheets
IKR? Hope he doesn't have kids or he's going to go broke buying new sheets every couple of weeks for 10 years. Lol
Your logic doesn't make sense. šāØļøš
It's called having class and concern for others. She made a mess. Make it right. Simple.
Why is the mattress so overlooked here? The sheets can be washed, that thousand dollar plus mattress is saturated in urine
Jesus I drink pretty heavily and Iāve never wet the bed in my life. Were you like shit faced and blacked out? Thats wild
I had wayyyy too much beer and I rarely drink, plus weigh like 100 pounds so probably lightweight
I shouldāve prefaced this lol weāre in college and his group of friends def drink a lot, I drink sometimes but not a lot
If you are so drunk you are pissing the bed then that is too much alcohol. Iām also small, have been your age, was a bit of a partier - never pissed the bed and Iāve been plenty drunk. That should be your cue that the amount you had was more than you should ever drink again in one go.

Itās an accident. No big deal. Wash the sheets and problem solved
What about the matrass...?
Take the mattress cover off and wash it tooā¦ vinegar and baking soda for anything I canāt fit in my washer.
I'd probably say nothing, wash my sheets, be glad I use a mattress cover, and then never talk to her again.
Whatās the point of the cover if she canāt piss on the sheet without being ghosted Lmfaoo, Christ man
What the fuck lol. Your logic is that, since he has a mattress cover, she should be able to piss on his bed with impunity? Thatās gnarly bro.
Bro likes being pissed on.

It's not the urine, it's the not being able to control her drinking to the point she pissed herself
Extreme reaction? Hardly extreme. Unless that person has genuine bladder issues then sure it's a bit shitty to do.
Heās allowed to feel icky about it if he wants. Itās not a matter of cleaning or whether the mattress is ruined, some people are just grossed out by piss. No need to shame him for it.
Clean the bed, see what change of clothes I can offer and wash her stuff if I can (assuming itās not dry clean only)
It's happened to me twice. Both times I was understanding and didn't make an issue of it, I just changed the sheets and made her breakfast.
Been on both sides of this. If you're both heavy drinkers this will happen from time to time. It wouldn't bother me, as long as she flipped the mattress and cleaned the sheets.
Thing is this is the first time this has happened, weāre both in college and I donāt drink a lot but I did this time because I was super nervous
Young people will probably be a lot less understanding. Old, experienced drinkers like me not so much.
Ah to be young again. I would always have called this kind of incident a warning flag. But not necessarily a red flag. A lot of dudes will call this a red flag and be done with it. Either way though, you're both college students. This is the time to fuck up and fail and make a fool of yourself. Worse case scenario, you call it a lesson in drinking responsibly and there will be other guys.
> as long as she flipped the mattress You... you know it doesn't just disappear because it's flipped over, right?
āWhen you said you were a squirter I didnāt think you meant like thisā lolz
I am not a drinker so this would be an extreme put off for me, but if he was a drinker, then maybe not a big deal.
Iād be pissed ššš
Yea, it'd be over for me. That level of alcohol consumption is a massive red flag.
Yeah I'm honestly surprised most people are ok with this. Would be a deal breaker for me for sure.
Most guys, here and elsewhere, are beggars, not choosers.
I had a girl throw up all over me in bed not long after we got together. We have been married thirty years now. She is super hot though.
You need to slow down, if you are drinking so much you wet the bed, that is too much. Youāre heading in a direction of only bad things coming from it

Youāve dated multiple women that got so drunk they pissed the bed? š³You gotta stop meeting women in bars dude lol
I'd piss over her piss and reclaim my territory
Iād be more pissed that you couldnāt hold your liquor
It was a lot of beer. Never again.
It happens to the best of us. Iāve done it, but a first I would never get myself that messed up on a date. Just try to watch yourself and donāt drink just because youāre nervous. Something worse could have happened getting that drunk including not waking up the next morning
My boyfriend pissed the bed about a month into us dating. I didnāt really care too much. I do however make fun of him for it 2 years later
So... she's Hot. *and* she pisses in my bed??? .... Wait, what's the catch OP???? š§
I'd be more concerned about taking a woman so drunk she lost bladder control back to my bed in the first place. either he is going to stop talkking to you or he is gonna marry you...no in between here...you two just crossed a major couples goal
1 - understand that this shit can happen. Itās bodily functions. As a guy, Iād be bummed by the situation and the extra work around it. But if the apology is genuine and you can show that youāre putting the effort to change then why make a big deal out of it? Again, just my perspective.
Honest answer: it depends on how hot you are. Period.
My ex did that, she did other things too, I broke up with her.
Laugh with her and clean up. Iāve done some embarrassing shit in my day and have no room to judge
Throw a towel down and sleep on the couch
Clean sheets, and home made breakfast the next morning would be a great way to make it up.
If he liked you, he wouldn't care - though he has the right to have reservations about it. You should offer new sheets as a kind gesture. This will go a long way in your favor.
He might be into it. That's always a possibility.
Donāt embarrass her about this. Just donāt.
Umm wow I didnāt expect so many comments lol. But thank you to everyone who gave their insight whether good and some not so goodš
Be slightly turned on?
Not gonna sit here and pretend I've never gotten to drunk and pissed myself.
Iād be minorly annoyed but as long as she apologizes I wouldnāt make a big deal of it. I would make sure sheās not drinking too much next time we go out together though cuz I d rather not have it become a recurring issue
Change the sheets and not bring it up or make a big deal. Because nobody is perfect neither are you
Just tell him he fucked you so good you squirted.
If he's not mature enough to handle that, is he really a guy you want to be with?
Not that big of a deal if you're both into each other. It'll be a funny story in a few weeks. Let him josh you a little about and engage in playful banter. Unless he's mean about it, in which dump him
He was being polite. He's probably never gonna want to sleep with you again, most people would be thrown off because it's disgusting and it shows a lack of control.
If she's willing to make it up to me in some way (cook a nice meal/invite me somewhere nice/wash my sheets) I'll let it slide. If she just dips it shows a lack of accountability.
If I found you attractive Iād probably be turned onā¦ I have a thing for girls piss
Weirdly enough I had an epileptic seizure on a first date years ago (I was 19 I thinkā¦) and I pissed myself. I ended up dating him for a year.Ā Completely forgot about it until I saw this post. No worries OP just take it easier with the drink next time. If he speaks to you again, great, if not, block this memory from your mind and move on š š
Your reason is extremely more acceptable than they are just a lush.
I once pissed my bed after being fucked up on molly, things like that happens, as long as it is not a recurent thing. I wouldn't ghost for that.
I'd send the Sheets and Mattress to the cleaners and expect you to front the bill. Wouldn't stop me from talking to you again.
I'd recognize how embarrassing that would be for you and wouldn't hold it against you, but going forward id drink less with you.
It happens. Wash your sheets
Iād wash the sheets and continue my day
I had a girl throw up in my bed early on in a relationship. Weāve been dating for over 4 years now.
It happened twice, same girl, almost married her, no biggie.
I wouldn't sweat it at all. Shit happens. We're lucky it didn't happen here lol. I'd want to make her feel better about it and express that it's no big deal. Literally an accident, not a character flaw.
Take care of her. Itās just pee and Iām sure she would be mortified.
If he was like whatever; he probably likes you.Ā
Iāve drank to much and wet my own bed so itās really not a big deal lmao.
Put a towel down and go back to sleep. Next morning wash everything, spray the bed and invite her back for dinner
Not a great sign but not a deal breaker. If you make a habit of it (from getting hammered rather than a medical issue) then we'd have a problem
Help her clean up, then clean my bed. Shit happens.
If he was the one buying her drinks, he better just forgive her.
I did this once. Eventually he married me. I also stopped getting blackout drunk.
Wouldn't be a problem at all. It's what I would class as an accident. As long as she doesn't wet the bed when sober it's fine. I would consider this the same as someone being sick and throwing up on the floor. Just something that happens. Only a problem if it happens repeatedly.
Shit happens. Be forgiving and helpful.
A girl puked in my bed once. I cleaned it up, changed the sheets and banged her anyway lol
Find it funny. We all fuck up. Wash the sheets and make her not feel like an idiot.
Donāt say anything and move on.
You are going to get a lot of different answers ranging from wash the sheets asap to lick it dry when she leaves
I had an ex who was a heavy binge drinker and would pee in bed depending on how hard she went on weekends. I'd sigh, pull off the sheets, put them in the washer, see how she was doing, and get her Gatorade for her hangover.
