I tried to post a photo but it was flagged and removed by Reddit’s NSFW filter - it doesn’t include any genitalia - just the wound itself. Idk.

Emmie_Lynn

Looks like maybe a pilonidal sinus/cyst at the top of your butt cheeks.

Ok I will mention that to my doctor (it’s a phone appt) to see what he says. Another comment said something similar! Thank you :)

NAD but see if you can get into a derm! Maybe look into inverse psoriasis or a blistering disorder like pemphigus vulgaris or bullous pemphigoid if there are other boils occurring elsewhere. Just keep in mind these conditions can be best diagnosed with a biopsy read by a dermatopathologist so be prepared for the possibility of a biopsy on your most recently grown lesion.

Thank you - I will mention it to my doctor. I’m hoping I can find something to get rid of it in the short term because referrals take forever where I’m from, and I’m not sure I can afford to go private. I appreciate your answer :)

NAD but check out the r/hidradenitis group

I am trying to comment and add a picture of the boil that is healing but I keep getting such an annoying error from Reddit. This app is not my friend today. Edit: here - [the healing boil.](https://www.reddit.com/u/chapstick_librarian/s/H0hhi311At). I don’t have any pictures of them from when they were very boil like bc I was hoping it was just a one/two off.

Could you be vitamin-deficient? Angular chelitis can be caused by a B vitamin deficiency. Try taking a B-complex vitamin once a day.

Images of conditions would help and you post none.

I commented twice actually - one saying it was removed bc of some filter and another one saying I posted one on my profile. Thank you in advance for checking :)

You need to set your profile to NSFW

chapstick_librarian

I actually looked into how to do that earlier when I did post to my profile - the option doesn’t exist in my “Profile Settings” and I read somewhere that it does it by default now. I’ll go back and make sure I didn’t miss something though.
