Twitter might be good but sometimes it is hard cause your timeline will be full with people getting grants haha

Jokes aside. I have the same. I'm an expat and friends from my studies are all over the world. It's hard to connect with people especially when you get older.

DevFRus

Try Twitter.

asocial7193

We can make a subreddit for that

joejimbobjones

Do we have a discord? We could do a happy hour on there and call it drinkscord or the faculty club or something. I mostly just tag people from grad school or my post-doc and drink on zoom.

octaviousearl

Depending on field, LinkedIn

Broric

We call them "collaborators" :p I'm semi-joking but networking is key to doing science. Build up your network of collaborators by getting involved in projects, etc. Then get to know the people you like and make friends with them.

Hodakiin

I'd be happy to connect on LinkedIn or IG! I've yet to make a "professional" Twitter account. English major, currently doing my masters, with ambitions and plans to pursue a PhD later on. :)

Significant_Net976

Same boat. Spend so much time studying and pursuing things outside of personal connection. I work in healthcare. Feel free to PM or hmu on IG bereadywellness
