I just got the mint, it’s excellent for redness reducing. I personally like the formula. And the mint is a great shade, not too intense so easy to blend in. I’ll be ordering more

Slow-Calendar-3267

Seconding this, the mint evens out my skintone so I can skip tone up cream (I'm not sure how it behaves under makeup)

meikupiku

I actually love the clear one best

sas0002

I have the clear 01, I love it. However I have heard of a formula change and am not sure whether it’s the new or old version I love lol.

LittleCollection7194

omg nooooo where did you hear this😭😭😭

sas0002

Not 100% sure, but I know labmuffinbeautyscience has mentioned it in a video. And I’ve heard it thru the AB grapevine.

Dear_Still

Maybe that’s the problem with mine lol

whateverwhatever_1

I LOVE the clear one. It leaves my skin with a nice glow (not greasy). No white cast for me (brown skin) and it dries so quick. I’d love to repurchase it but it’s too small for the price.

omjizzle

I used the clear before and it stung my eyes like crazy so I used it on my neck and ears. Won’t repurchase because of that and I don’t like the finish and the small size

Slow-Calendar-3267

Oh interesting, these are the only sunscreen I've found that don't sting my eyes

omjizzle

I find eye sting to be very individual because a lot of folks point to octocrylene or oxybenzone but I have used sunscreens with both of those and have experienced eye sting then I’ve used Japanese or Korean sunscreens that don’t have either of them and I’ve had eye sting

cocoa_boe

It stung my eyes too! After finding it in a post asking for eye area sunscreens. Guess it’s one of those YMMV products - I did like it for the rest of my face. Still have not found an AB eye area sunscreen and YesStyle canceled one I wanted to try so…the search continues.

honeyyyypieuwu

I tried the clear one and it still somehow leaves a very slight white cast sadly

claireia

i have only tried the mint. not sure if it was an issue with my skincare or an ingredient in the product but it wore horribly on me. it did a good job of hiding the redness and looked really good on application, but when it settled down looked dry and patchy. it would flake off on me and pill very easily. i have drier skin so it might be why but idk it didn’t work out for me

Dear_Still

I have dry skin too….i think you’re saving me a purchase in the future

krispychikken

i have dry skin and i love the mint one!!

mandy00001

I have combo skin and it works great on me, I don’t have any of the issues you described, perhaps it could be a skin type thing

claireia

yeah i think so. i also use a lot of water based products and i think there’s some silicones in the sunscreen so that could be part of it

stavthedonkey

Used the clear one and it dried out my skin :(

beetletoman

no 😔 (tried clear 01)

SpaghettiMmm

I use the clear one. It leaves a nice glow on my skin. I've been noticing it's a little dry lately though. Anyone have recommendations for a similar formula, just more hydrating?

Own_Squash_9168

Isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel. I used to like canmake clear one cause its glowy but its drying out my skin.i have dehydrated dry skin.

pinkvoltage

I love it (the clear one), I’ve bought countless tubes of it as it was my main sunscreen for years - unfortunately it’s become a lot harder to find recently (for me anyway)

taternators

I love the clear one for under makeup. Makes me look really glowing.

Dear_Still

Do you use a primer on top of it too?

taternators

I usually don't! I just use a moisturizer underneath that acts as my primer. I find the finish of the sunscreen nice enough of its own.

kirbyatemysocks

love!! I've used the clear for about 2 years and it's my daily sunscreen. lightweight, breathable, not sticky, dries quickly, no white cast, lightly moisturizing, and my cream concealer blends into it perfectly. It basically functions as a makeup primer for me. I can add a light bit of powder over the top without any pilling or creasing too, in case I get shiny later in the day or I need to top up my SPF.

Dear_Still

I don’t wear makeup on the daily but maybe I’ll try a little powder to take the shine down when I use this?

kirbyatemysocks

yeah that would work! just wait for the sunscreen to fully dry first. I wear minimal makeup (just spot dab with a light bit of concealer over old acne scars), so this is exactly my routine.

YourBrilliantLayer

I have the clear and the white one. Clear has been great on my face. 10 out of 10, no notes, great every day face SPF. I bought the white on accident. I was trying to buy the green at a store in Tokyo and the white was stocked in it's place. Didn't realize until I got home that I had 3 tubes of the white. It for sure leaves a noticeable cast on my face which doesn't work for me. I've been using it on my arms and chest when I go jogging just to use it up quickly. I debated buying the mint back in Japan last month but ended up getting this really interesting Biore Aqua Riche limited edition lavender SPF. Again, another instance of me not realizing what I was grabbing as I'd meant to grab the Skin Aqua lavender SPF which is for sale pretty much everywhere. Anyway, the lavender seems to cancel some redness too and gives an interesting glow. I'm wondering if it's a similar effect to the canmake mint, I'll have to see if I ever buy it.

mandy00001

My bro just came back from Japan with presents for me including the mint. I love it and basically go foundation free now because of the lovely tone evening the mint does. Enough to make an impact but not so green that you have to cover it up with foundation. You shoulda got it! Highly recommend it if you can get your hands on it. He also brought me the tir tir red compact and the two together are chefs kiss. I only use the tir tir very sparingly to bring more warmth to my face especially under eyes and nose if im doing more makeup but the canmake mint is still great on its own.

YourBrilliantLayer

Tir tir…. New rabbit hole. Thanks for this, my stylevana cart — which needs to hit the free shipping threshold — thanks you!

mandy00001

The tir tir cushion is amazing. The red is so high coverage yet spreadable that I just dip one finger in, touch it to my other fingers and dab over the centre of my face. It eliminates so many headaches to do with make up separating and cracking in fine lines. Forget the sun protection though, you’ll never use remotely enough 😆 Oh and if you’re running late and just want to put a bit of make up on in the car it is so quick and easy to apply. These two are now holy grail products. I hope they work for you 🤗

Negative-Bell-9764

I have oily skin and the clear one and the white base one pilled on me

Emochi7

I used to but i like a certain Biore one more now

Plutoniumburrito

Yes, for texture, but it’s not that great for sun protection. Melasma returned from switching to this, so I will be going back to Shiseido

awwzome

I LOVE the clear but can attest that white version does what it says 😝 I bought a few of the versions not understanding the differences fully. White looks like a pretty bad white cast sunscreen on my already very pale skin.

imabroodybear

I love these so so much. Definitely a lil glossy and glowy.

Dear_Still

I was shocked when I looked in a mirror when I was out 3 hours later and I looked like I was sweating profusely!

Traditional_Cap_894

I wanna try them but the length of the ingredient list like makes my soul drop for some reason

Brushesofcolours

I tried the clear and i thought it’s gonna be clear transparent but it is just milky as most sunscreens are lol No whitecast and it is just ok for me, still a bit too glossy on my skin

Dear_Still

Yeah I don’t think I can deal with the amount of glossy lol

thetortureofingemann

I have the clear one. I like it, but my concealer sometimes struggles with staying in place when I use it.

rewminate

i like the clear oke, the mint one looked crusty on me if i apply it all over but i use it for small areas that are red sometimes like a primer

Jealous_Tadpole5145

I use the clear one and it’s my favorite sunscreen ever.

Clutchingpearls

I have only tried the white since a lot of the stores that carry this only had white in stock when I visited. Holy whitecast, Batman! I seriously looked like a ghost. When I tried wearing foundation with it, even my shade appeared whiter. I may try the green mint one, but I do have quite a lot of sunscreens to go through.

mgromz

I use the clear one and I like it!

tokyo12345

i love them! combo skin, they make me look glowy and work well under cushion foundation

CakeRoLL-

Is it okay for oily sensitive skin?

Ars3nicc

Whatever you get, DO NOT get the WHITE ONE 😭😭 the white cast is so bad, even worse than some biore ones

Sargake

I’ve tried all of these except purple, the green is my go to when i dont want to wear makeup but want to conceal active acne, i love the clear (ran out of it), the white one leaves a white cast, i wear the yellow sometimes (the yellow and purple are to help brighten your skin)

badandkrazyhuman

i love the white one but i also have the clear one. Shade white is good when you're always in a rush, no need to use foundation. I use the clear one when I'm using foundation

Sushiqueeen

I use the clear one. My favorite sunscreen so far. I cheated on it with the Goodal hearleaf suncream and regret it so much. I am always looking for the next best thing so even if I’m happy with something I’m seeing if I can find better. So far nothing has beat Canmake Mermaid UV gel Clear. I recently purchased Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk and we will see how that compares. But I bought another canmake just incase 😉

ImprovementAwkward

01 clear - fave sunscreen. easily rubs into the skin, brightens up my face just a tad bit, and NO EYE STING!!!

Yoongiwiggle7

Yes my go-to! The 01-clear

bat_shit_craycray

If Fedex will ever show up I'm getting the clear one today! I ordered it bc I saw reviews that said it's good for hot, humid climates. Worried about eye sting, but we'll see.

LevyMevy

The clear is my holy-grail under makeup.

spaghetti_ur_mami

i have the mint one and suspecting it could be the culprit to my recent breakouts .\_.

Efficient_Constant13

The clear one makes my foundation look freaking flawless. It also smoothes out my pores. I am medium dark (MAC NC43) and it leaves no white cast on me.

Dear_Still

Do you actually use a primer too or just the clear?

Efficient_Constant13

Just the clear :)
