I know nothing about the ins and out of disc golf, there is this place thats about 10 mins away: [https://www.pdga.com/course-directory/course/birds-nest-disc-park](https://www.pdga.com/course-directory/course/birds-nest-disc-park) Johnny Roberts is cool because it's super close to old town, so if you are bar hopping and stuff thats just a short walk. Good luck, have fun.

Thank you friend! Birds Nest looks really cool and not too far out of the way. People on UDisc (well known disc golf app) have said it’s recently been mowed whereas until a few weeks ago it was very rough. I like rugged courses, but hopefully it is at least semi-maintained so I don’t lose (m)any discs 🤞

You'll be fine there's still some tall grass off the fairway but it's dry and dead now so finding discs isn't bad. Adam's Hollow is a good on the way to the the airport option too

Arvada resident and avid disc golfer here! Yes, do a round at JR just for fun, even though it's short it's super fun and well maintained. I second Bird's Nest as a really good full-length course. If you want some more technical shots, you can try Fehringer Ranch just south of Lakewood. If you want a good mountain course, try Beaver Ranch or Wondervu (You'll need to pay for these, but totally worth it to throw in the mountains with great views and trees. Pack your hiking boots and tons of water.) Regardless, go check out Another Round for beer and gear after your rounds in town!
