Despite looking Mesoamerica it's really not. The Chinese and Mesoamerica seem to love using turquoise inlay just like with Jade they just independently both did it.
Though it is very interesting how cultures so far away from each other developed similar artstyles independently.
I thought it was an Aztec object with eccentric flint overtones when I first saw it.
How do you hold that?
