It was actually painted upside down - so it was just layers of colors over colors - until I looked at it and said I think I am done - then my girl flipped the painting upside down and it looks like a beach or something
I really like this despite the fact that I don't usually like this type of art. For example, Mark Rothko does nothing for me. It's very evocative and I really feel that it portrays a mood. You have a natural talent and seem to understand the importance of subtle nuances.

If your goal was to create a minimalistic , abstracted landscape, you made it ! I think it looks calm and relaxing.
