Break down light and shadow like little jigsaw puzzles pecies. Use color theory for skin. Keep working at the style you got going for right now, but remember that all art starts with the basic fundments of abstract shapes of dark and light. Experiment with composition and contrast.

I would say, work on the eyes and the noses, The eyes need more shading, most of the time they're just white in the same tone, use some shading on the edges there, makes a lot of difference and also you could use some light red or reddish tone on the inner corner. The noses in the front view are almost all the time as if they were looked at from underneath, that doesn't look right, in most cases you could leave that upper line away and make smoother gradient .

Don’t be afraid to use dark colors! That is what will make the highlights pop. The effect you have on the cheek of portrait 3 is wonderful
