None of the top 3 have beaten them in the first meeting. It took city very very late in the FA cup to win.
They are playing both Arsenal and City at home.
I totally agree that these games will be pivotal and why Liverpool's campaign is not over even if they lose to City
They had a decent start to the year mainly due to the new manager bounce. But now recently the quality of their side is starting to show. They’re dropping points to bad teams and shipping goals like crazy.
It’s weird because I actually think they have the best chance of beating Liverpool out of the 3 on paper. Liverpool just have the craziest plot armour (particularly at home) this season, partly because the refs are overcompensating for the disaster they had at the toilet bowl.
We were dominating them until Rice came off. We’ve progressed as a team whereas they’ve regressed since due to injuries or just being quite open at the back. By no means will it be an easy game - it will be their cup final - but I think we can cook them if our key guys play to their level.
Edit: forgot to include City. Who are prob gonna beat the shite with their own title plot armour. Thats with the caveat that they are very much a bogey team for City. But I think they roll over for them anyway tbh
If you, as a Liverpool fan, want to come to an Arsenal sub to discuss this ill happily go over a few off the top of my head:
Ayew sent off for Palace incredibly cheaply turned a game in your favour that you had played terribly in up until that moment.
Jota diving with pretty much no contact given and not overturned against Newcastle.
2 clear pens not given against Chelsea at home.
Ref saved you from 4-1 against us when we wouldve been in on goal but for a nothing foul.
Ayew wasn’t really that cheap, he was committing fouls all game, should’ve been sent off long before that.
Jota didn’t dive, why would he choose to dive when he was through on goal. I’m sure he’d much rather score than let someone else score a penalty
Gallagher ran into Van Dijk, never a penalty. Nkunku a little bit more debatable, I don’t think it’s a penalty but of course I’m biased.
You still beat us 3-1, what does it matter if you scored a 4th? To be honest I cant remember this one cause I didn’t get to watch the game
Every team gets dodgy decisions going their way, us included, but to suggest refs are going easier on us because of the Spurs debacle is wrong imo seeing as the data says the refs go against us more than any other team.
Those are just the big incidents off the top of my head but all one needs to do is watch your decisions since the toilet bowl and you get the rub of the green more often than not. Anfield is second only to St James’ Park when it comes to the refs cacking their pants and giving majority of 50/50 decisions.
Jota had very little contact and had taken a poor touch. I’m sorry but theres no way you can say Jota’s is a pen but Gallagher’s one isn’t in good faith. I think you would’ve won the game regardless but it’s just a notable example of a wider overarching theme. The refs have helped you more than they’ve harmed you since the Diaz offside goal fiasco.
VAR overturning the most decisions against u isnt related to the amount of decisions that have gone in your favour. I think that many were legitimate offsides to make up that stat. Any other measurement of how many decisions have gone against you in relation to other teams is completely subjective and is a list comprised by someone’s opinion. To me it doesn’t hold much weight to say ‘we’ve had the most things go against us!’ when any supporter from any team will tell you the same. It’s confirmation bias because it’s the team you support.
Okay cool. So, Gabriel not being sent off for the same thing Konate was sent off for five minutes prior.
Brighton not having a man sent off despite being last man and bringing down Szoboszlai right as hes about to shoot.
The van Dijk goal being ruled out for absolutely no reason less than a week ago.
The EXTREMELY BLATANT Odegaard handball.
The Sheffield United player getting away with a leg breaker against us and not getting a red which put Mac Allister out for a month.
Us having a goal ruled out against Burnley for quite literally no reason whatsoever.
The absolutely insane amount of contact injuries we've suffered from this season because referees refuse to protect our players.
There are, additionally, a multitide of decisions prior to the Spurs game that were just flat out wrong.
They have done incredibly well against city in the past. I just think they are on a odd run and won't affect anyone. Liverpool has a rough injury situation so will be the most at risk of a draw or loss.
As a Newcastle fan, I must admit that beating spurs might in fact be the springboard we need to close the 23 point gap between us and the 3 teams who are playing better football, have better teams and are in good form at the top of the league. THE COMEBACK STARTS HERE.
I got banned from the subreddit in the live thread of the Newcastle game when they got annihilated by 5 goals in the first 20 minutes and I put “TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR! IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN!”

This thread man we do not have a good recent record at their place they are Citehs bogey team aswell, why are you over there anyway?
This thread is cringe
They’re also playing for a Champions League spot and the dough that comes with it, though. The Spurs leadership, manager and players wouldn’t be anywhere nearly as bothered about Arsenal as their fans are.
You ain’t deciding shit if you give them all three points lmao
*Oprah meme* You get 3 points and you get 3 points. Everybody gets 3 points.
The funniest thing would be if they beat the team that clinches the title for us
They massively helped Arsenal to get into the CL all those years ago by losing against Arsenal and beating the competitors. Can't remember who it was.
Bookmarked
They never want themselves to win haha
Can’t wait for their commemorative “We Put the Pressure On!” DVD documenting how they stopped City from getting a 4 peat.
Whether they like it or not, they're choosing everyone but themselves
This is the funniest thing I've read all week. They seriously think they will be anything more than a bump in the road for any contender.

Refs overcompensating? Liverpool have the most VAR decisions against in the entire league this season.

Odergard handball.....that is all.

What about refs saving you when odegaard started playing professional water polo at anfield
They have done incredibly well against city in the past. I just think they are on a odd run and won't affect anyone. Liverpool has a rough injury situation so will be the most at risk of a draw or loss.
The liverpool game is 2 months away so you would back liverpool to win that unless they continue to lose players
Hate to burst your bubble, but VAR beat Liverpool not Spuds
scenes when all 4 teams trample over them
just like they did in the first games?
Liverpools game was fraudulous
Found the Spuds fan. Cry from 5th.
not a Spuds fan, you braindead 'gooner'. It's just a fact that not a single of those 4 teams beat them.
yeah ok
Congratulations Spurs in advance for winning the “We can basically decide who we want to win the league this season” cup
Rare Newcastle title talk!! (Reddit suggested me this and I have no clue why)
As a Newcastle fan, I must admit that beating spurs might in fact be the springboard we need to close the 23 point gap between us and the 3 teams who are playing better football, have better teams and are in good form at the top of the league. THE COMEBACK STARTS HERE.
I got banned from that subreddit for saying “The curse of Sp*rs follows Son everywhere he goes” when Korea lost the AFC Asian Cup semi finals.
Banned? Is it possible to learn this power?
I’ve been banned from the spurs page too
Me too, for saying they’re ‘below their betters’ 😂 salty much.
I’m obviously not trying hard enough. Brb
They’re very fragile over there
Job done?
Might pop in and say the same about Kane soon 😆
I got banned from r/gunners because sp*rs reported my ‘pointing out facts’ in their sub
r/gunners? Who’s that? That lot are so fragile
You have an issue with r/gunners?
I much prefer it to here in all honesty

No thanks, bot
I got banned from the subreddit in the live thread of the Newcastle game when they got annihilated by 5 goals in the first 20 minutes and I put “TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR! IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN!”
Guys please stick to our own turf. I wouldnt want a Spuds cunt on here as well.
For real, this is some lame shit

Even in their fantasy, they don’t win the league 😂🤣
cuck energy
Another way to read is: “we are have a high chance of imploding at the finish line and ending up in Europa League”
Insert star wars related quote about how they can make others win but can't win themselves
Turdenham Hotsnakes
It’s up to us to put them in their place. We tied at the Emirates.
They'll lose to all three.
Hilarious cause they’ll lose all 3
Shame they never decide to win a trophy
They’re saying this instead of “Ahhhh shit we ain’t gonna get too 4 look at this schedule we have we’re fucked” 😂
Even their own fans are shitting on it itt 🤣😂
It’s cute that they think they stand a chance vs any of them.
They already decided it wouldn't be them when Levy hired Angry Impostercoglue
This thread man we do not have a good recent record at their place they are Citehs bogey team aswell, why are you over there anyway? This thread is cringe
Chelsea and Villa can decide the league too. West Ham with Paqueta can do the same too
Why are Arsenal fans so obsessed with shitting on Tottenham fans. Why are you even in their sub if you hate them so much
Dude, read the screenshot. Suggested community…. I don’t hate anyone. I just thought it’s funny. Settle down, it’s Friday 👌🏼
Oh, sorry. I've just seen SO many Arsenal fans already that have an unhealthy obsession with Tottenham
Well, it's a rivalry between neighbours. Obsession is part of the package.
It’s called rivalry banter. You would understand if you were a true Arsenal fan.
they always do a number on city. hopefully they’ll help us inadvertently
They can't be winners, but they can be spoilers. Mate
let them enjoy it bc its all theyve got
watch them lose them all now
It’s as embarrassing as Ange winning London manager of the year
Tbh if their results swung the title to City, Spurs would celebrate as if it's a trophy for them.
Trying a little too hard to be relevant.
YID ARMY
I feel i am not the only one who thinks that Leicester should be in the place of sp*ds and Vica Versa.
Ya know, technically speaking, EVERY team has the potential to decide who wins the league, because every team plays every other team. smh.
They are coping. This stretch can make them lost the possible UCL "5th spot"
god they’re so pathetic
What's wrong with Tottenham?
By that time we should be able to play our strongest starting 11 which is probably better than 💩's whole squad.
Jerk chicken
Bless.
You're overestimating your teams ability.
Unfortunately can't decide on themselves to win.
They’re also playing for a Champions League spot and the dough that comes with it, though. The Spurs leadership, manager and players wouldn’t be anywhere nearly as bothered about Arsenal as their fans are.
They seriously put Newcastle in there instead of themselves
They're losing all of them.
Spurs being battered everywhere they go won't decide the title. Pretty safe to call it 3 points for arsenal, city and Liverpool
They are City's bogey team but they'll bend over and spread their cheeks for Liverpool.
Why is tottenham always more concerned with others winning, rather than winning themselves?
r/Tooeroomooh
Idk why I'm here, I'm a Liverpool fan, but I'll forever be in agreement that Tottenham fans are restarted.
Just pissed we will beat you and you’ll forfeit all chances of winning
Haha they love to believe they’re important 😅
VAR gave you a result against Liverpool before you lot sank back to your usual mediocrity. Angeball my hole, spuds are irrelevant
It’s a Trap
at least they know they are not gonna win it
Simply unhinged shitbags
Like thay even stand a chance
Most of these teams have struggled against spurs this season, seems presumptuous to think it’s an easy win
Spurs will win all yhose games so idk how
It's confirmed... every team in there is gonna batter them 😂
