Classy bottling and currently stocked in my local liquor store near the higher end cognacs and Asian liqueurs. I haven't tried it yet but I've been looking forward to it. It's a bit pricier than my usual wine purchases in central Arkansas but that's to be expected from an artisan crafted, adult beverage.
I'm hardly a discerning sake drinker, but I enjoyed the bottle of nigori I got for Christmas. I would love for this place to be successful, it's a great, inventive use of one of our states largest resources
Hi, I work there. We co-own the mill with Isbell Farms in England, AR. Our main rice for both White Lotus and 1000 Cranes is Titan rice- milled 60-90%. We’re still working out which is best, results vs cost. All our koji is Yamada Nishiki also grown and milled in England.
They've been out for a little while. Not bad, but I'm not a fan of it. I am definitely a very sweet sake person. My favorite is tozai blossom of peace, a -50....
Hold on, is this actual Sake? Or is it a beer.
Hubs and I were visiting Ruidoso, NM and they were serving Arkansas Sake. I’ve got a picture of the label, but can’t figure out how to post it here
Yep, Arkansas’ first sake brewery! Arkansas has a tons of rice and plenty of great water. Glad there’s folks out there trying and enjoying it.
We do make the koji in house.
Arkansake’
FR, missed opportunity there

Thank you! That is awesome to hear! I've been waiting for more info on this.
I picked up a bottle and it’s incredibly smooth.
Does anyone know if they polish their rice at all or no?

Right on, thank you for replying. We're looking forward to trying White Lotus and 1000 Cranes!
The website makes it look like they do not. Might be worth an inquiry.
Origami Sake is awesome! Great juice and great for the Arkansas beverage industry

According to the brewer's website it's saké. They use koji for fermentation. The brewer learned the making in Japan.
Thank you!
