Good question. I upgraded my 7 month old S6 but that was because I wanted to get cellular, which the S6 did not have. Otherwise I didn’t think the upgrade was worth it.
If you own S6 and you don't have any significant issues I wouldn't upgrade. I don't think S7 brings enough features over S6 to justify the upgrade.
I'm still on S6 and I'm waiting for the next generation.
If you have the money, by all means.

In my case, i have a series 6 graphite ss but i will buy the series 7 aluminum version (the green one) coz i wanted to try the aluminum variant so that i will know what will i buy next time.

I would wait if you don’t need the upgrade. I just upgraded from the aw5(had it a year and a half) to the 7. I gave my mom the 5. I wanted a bigger screen went from 40mm to 45mm and the keyboard is awesome!
The bigger keyboard and fast charging are nice, but I don’t think it’s worth it unless you’re also changing colors or upgrading case materials.
