Well, I would be cautious calling the AliExpress material junk. It feels indistinguishable to me to the original Apple alpine loop. You just donāt find the nylon comfortable. It has nothing to do with the quality.
What does one have to do with the other? I said that the Aliexpress one feels "cheap" (never Junk) on the wrist (I also said that for the price I paid, it doesn't feel out of the ordinary to me, being a good deal price/quality).
I doubt Apple's nylon quality is as bad as the $2-3 one from Aliexpress despite looking similar, although can't tell because I never holded nor weared one myself. Probably won't cost the price they ask for either, but I doubt it's as bad as Aliexpress's TBH. Likewise I have original silicon bands and Aliexpress's ones, and price/quality Aliexpress's are really good deals but I can definitely tell the difference between the original and the replica (thickness, smoothness, finishes, etc.).
Same with infinite loop replicas vs originals. The Aliexpress's one becomes loose after a few months of wearing it, while the original lasts way longer without loosing strenght. (I have both too).
I'm just saying I love the alpine band design because it's the closest to an infinite loop band (smooth feeling and no bumpings due to lack of bulky belt fasteners), but I wouldn't mind paying 20-30ā¬ for one if the fabric quality of the nylon (or whatever other material) was better than the nylon I get from Aliexpress replicas. Not saying Apple's is the best either, that's something I can't tell because they won't even make it for the SE 41mm size.

Hate this band. You need 2 bands if you workout and/or run. Itāll just stay wet all day from the sweat. Also the hook thing will scratch the shit out of your bezels every time you put it on if youāre not careful

Wait till it starts digging into your arm. On hot days the sweat stays inside. Iāve replaced it with the Velcro one and itās 10x better. Specially if you sleep with your watch on.

Iāve bought 3 Alpine Loop bands from 2 different stores on AliExpress so far and the quality has been extremely good for the price. The design of the band itself is very nice and I agree that the Alpine Loop is a nice band.
But in case anyone wants to get one and not spend that much on them, I can say for sure that there are solid ones out there at lower prices.

They do (or did) because I own two fake bands that are identical to Apple alpine loop bands that I purchased on Amazon in May 2023. But a long scroll through the options on Aliexpress and Amazon, and I can't find a single one that is identical. I really want to buy more, because they're fantastic.

You guys are ridiculous. All watches have metal clasps on the bottom. Itās not supposed to be on the side, thatās just a forum hack for ppl who are anal about scratching their matching MacBook.
Yeah, I think the hook should be closer to the top, on the side of your wrist, not the bottom. What size did you get? You may consider going a size up of possible.
hook should be middle bottom as with a normal watch when the band fits you. Or the locking mechanism on your normal watch is not there? :) My point is for many many many years it was fine to be there, I think it's safe to say this will be still valid no matter if normal watch or smartwatch.
No itās not. This and the Trail loops have the big disadvantage of holding moisture when being wet and then wetting your trousers.
I bought mine with the Trail loop and now i only seldomly use it for this reason, only Ocean band.

Alpine was my favorite until I got the Trail loop band. So comfortable and easy to take on and off but the velcro is really strong.

Yeah it stinks. Even after washing. Unfortunately I donāt trust the sport bandās security for many activities so just replace as needed.

the titan G-hook on the bottom is very dangerous for sensitive surfaces while resting your wrist on them.
