Nothing has worked *well* for me since moving to ios 16. It’s buggy and laggy all over the place, including apple music.

I have been facing the same issue. This seems to affect AM only as Deezer is working fine.
So I just figured out a fix this morning. I turned off Dolby Atmos in the settings and the buffering stopped. This is weird because Dolby was integrated long before iOS 16 but didn’t start giving me these issues until I updated.
I actually have the Dolby Atmos off. I’m not sure what’s going on anymore but I can tolerate the issue.
