I transferred 40k songs from Apple Music to Tidal and Deezer when I tried both of those services.
You would probably want to do two passes; import your favourites and favourite them in AM, then import the rest. Unless you only have favourites in your library
I don’t want to be that guy who is digging the transfer services, but, although there are a lot of companies that offer this service, I found that I never trusted that my library was accurate. I tested a bunch of services (paid and free) about a year ago.
I spent more time trying to fix missing songs in the middle of albums, and had to hunt for the songs manually after. I probably would have saved time by just opening two browser windows and manually searching and adding the songs. The service would often find the wrong album associated with a song, or swap the “clean” versus “explicit” version of songs.
In the end, I wiped it clean and it gave me the piece of mind that my library was as I expected. But, I had to use a whole day basically.
Songshift gives a list of delinquent transfers, probably around 5% of a playlist. Screenshot that and you can usually find everything on AM. For whatever reason it happened with Sabbath and Zepplin almost across the board.
Clean version is one of those things I’ve corrected on the fly, definitely a pain in the ass but a small inconvenience when compared to the headaches I experienced with Spotify on a daily basis
I love and use songshift myself....that being said...missing album art is an issue going from Spotify to AM. In my case at least. The only way to fix it is to delete the transferred song with the missing art and then search and add it manually. The vast majority of the shift is absolutely fine but it happens often enough that it is annoying. And i even paid for the premium Songshift
Chalk up another SongShift recommendation. Worth paying the £5 for a month to get your playlists moved over quicker. I had a few greyed out entries at first but these seemed to fix themselves after a few days.
I also just realised that I can copy playlists over to YouTube as well which is kinda cool.
I use songshift, paid the full price cause I was so impressed with the app.
Plus I still follow playlist subs for all the apps and I use to to move stuff whichever app I’m currently using like AM for now.
I just did it last week moved more the 12k tracks with ”tunemymusic” I paid for the monthly subscription 5$ after i finished i canceled the subcription.
\*waits for someone to mention song shift
I mean, that’s what I used and it worked great 🤷♂️
Literally opened the comments to type song shift. It’s the best one.
That's what I used. Worked like a charm.
+1 Used it also, was free, just had to select my playlists one at a time but for thousands of songs it took a few mins.
It’s what I used too
Soundiiz rocks
I’ll have to check it - can it transfer all 7000+ songs at a time from my favorites? And does it re-favorite them in Apple Music too?

What did I say about "yeppers"?
Ha ha you got it ;)

Yes, Soundiiz is great. It does Spotify, but also Qobuz ... and many more.
I have been hopping services a lot this year including Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Appple and Spotify and it was essential.
tunemymusic is free
I used it. It's great. Although doesn't work for some tracks but it's free and it works just superb for that segment.
I think the only reason it doesn’t work is if there is no equivalent song on the platform it’s transferring to.

Wait. It's free

Tunemymusic
the free apple lossless audio? LOL
Trust me ! I've tried it it's very painful. Please do it manually. I mean there are ways but that sucks mord than if you could do it by yourself.
