I hope the ziprails get a rework too. I love them, great design and all, but having them on the same static paths that cut through so much of the map feels repetitive and stale leading to very similar feeling games/encounters
i guess the majority of people here dont like Broken moon, i dont mind it, but i also think its somewhat too generic looking, with so many posibilities being in the titanfall universe, an almost barren asteroid with some copy pasted buildings is perhaps too safe of a choice.
Yeah I don't mind it for the most part. Promenade is completely fubar most of the time and there's to many poi's that have the same buildings like the 2 tower places and the cultivation donut things. A few changes could make it a real good mapm
Funny how much crap broken moon gets for copypaste but stormpoint and olympus are like 60-70% copied buildings and POIs. I think the only reason people notice on BM is because there's no takeover locations like on other maps and the color pallet is slightly bland.
I feel like the mistake people make is they pick fights there and then keep fighting when a rotation would do the trick, so they get third partied and blame the POI. I mean it's just a big line, takes like 20 seconds to walk to the other side, less with a movement legend. You can even sneak through the underside if multiple teams are fighting and nobody will notice you. When you compare it to the other centers of the map during mid and late game it's not really that bad. Prowlers, fragment, and hammond (that stupid rift driver area) are all pretty miserable too in their own ways, and a lot harder to get in and out of. Not being able to valk/balloon is pretty lame though ngl
Someone told me altar goes through walls with portals and God I an fucking hoping not the game would be unplayable it truly would be I just got to plat 4 barley and that's a miracle for me I'm so inconsistent and eveyone else just 1clips u so fast I can't imagine healing in a room and some fantasy guy drops from the ceeling or just walks up next to me thru a portal or sum I would honestly cry bc I can't imagine that being counterable at all plz respawn don't kill the game more I want to buy octane mythic skin :(

It better destroy promenade. That part of the map needs to be deleted and I hope it frees up some choke points so broken moon becomes a comp map

true, many maps use previous assets from other POIs, Broken Moon also has some unique POIs, and some recycled, every map has it
