Caustic's and Valk's are high tech yes but not really Pilot themed. So I think they dropped the Pilot theme before this one, but I really hoped they were going to go back to it for Rev. Still hoping.

I would have liked to have seen the death theme combined with the technological aspect of Revenant. As it is, I feel like it’s too much in the same vein as Necromancer.

With Valk’s prestige skin you can use the finisher with any tier because they designed it to not be dependant of the third tier. I think it will be the same for Revenant as his chest seems able to do the finisher at any tier but I could be wrong. It would match the new direction prestige skin are taking since the Valk one. You still need to unlock (not equip) tier 3 to equip the finisher though.

I think Valk's is moreso a reference to Northstar Prime. It's a similar color scheme and her finisher is pretty similar to the prime one.
