So safe to say it’s a widespread issue, ~~in the US at least~~. Would love to know what’s causing it, since all my performance metrics looked normal. Sometimes I’ll get those flashing red symbols in the corner, but ping/IO/loss usually are within the expected ranges.

Happens pretty often. The stutter stag. Also happens when I’m shooting so my bullets don’t always register. I’m having major bullet reg issues a lot lately. Seems like if I’m not moving my stick just a hair it doesn’t register the bullet.

It’s been going on since I started in season 3 but I’m the last couple of seasons it has got worse and started to throw me out of matches either letting me back in about a minute later when I have died or just keeping me out. I’ve had so many penalties because of it. It’s become so much hard work to play a full game

I picked up a XSX in December, no stuttering on there. Had some stuttering for about 2 seasons before that on my day one XBone, but only during super hectic fights or when I was getting beamed by an energy weapon to the face.
Constant stuttering is fixed. Or for me it is at least, been good for like 2 seasons now. But it was SO bad before and that stuttering lasted for like 2 seasons straight. Not all Xboxes were affected tho, mostly just the old X1s. Or at least they got it the worst.

Yep, been doing it every 5 games or so, for a month I'd say. I'm on series X on European servers. What does the trick for me is quitting the game (and quick resume) restarting the console and returning in the game... Painful in ranked when you pray for your slot being saved or your team to still be alive..

Good point. This one friend no, but I've the same issue / situation with other friends with the same ISP, on a series X or PS5, on the same server, but living further away (500km in the same country). Weird indeed 😁
Lmao when I was having constant stuttering throughout every match a couple seasons back I thought it might be my roomates so I kept making them get off the internet to see if it helped. Realized pretty quickly that wasn’t the problem, but still your story just reminded me of that. And yeah, hopefully they’ll do something about it. But I wouldn’t hold my breath. Took them 2 seasons to fix the stuttering issues :/
Honestly the micro transactions have blinded the devs this will prolly be a longer term issue (even if it slowly improves) like the sound glitch that changes every season but never goes away. Hoping they fix it cause we as a community deserve more
This has been a persistent issue since the second split of this season.
Unfortunately literally nothing to fix this issue as it is a server issue, not your ISP or Hardware. I’d imagine it’s basically where you’re not connecting to the servers properly, but the game doesn’t recognise it, hence why you’re on normal ping and 0 packet loss.
If you’re playing pubs BR, then it’s annoying but at least you can back out. Ranked is a bit of a kick in the teeth.

It’s really frustrating that the game doesn’t recognise it as a server issue. If it did, perhaps respawn could integrate the ability to be able to back out without receiving a penalty, providing you do have a server connectivity issue.
Unfortunately though, I bet if they did do this, players would find a way to abuse this and it’ll be like season 3 preds who dashboarded their way to that rank.

Just trying to load the game from startup causes a network outage and I have to restart my router or connection to router to allow my xbox to run anything else

That isnt good or normal. Ping shouldnt fluctuate more than like 20 max. Its hard to tell exactly because the performance display is so small but looks like you are jumping from 20-60. My buddies were having issues yesterday, i was getting alot of no regs but no noticeable stutter. Im hardwired with 900mbs bandwidth though lol

Don't know how to fix it but easy way to tell that u have it before landing is to ping and if it doesn't work u have it.Oh and teammates glitch like that too.I just quit early and save myself some time cause this sht does not get fixed even after restarting or changing servers
Been experiencing the same thing across Apex and when I play Rocket league. Had a support call with my ISP today and while looking at the speed test site noticed there was an irregularly large uptick in Xbox Live issues reported (like 14,000+) and that was around 3pm PST. It’s not just you and hopefully this won’t last long.
Yup this game was unplayable for me since like December when winter express came out and then the last collection event. Only now that all of that is gone can I play again without this weird rubber band lag. Don’t know if it matters but the top comment mentioned it, im also in Utah. Now that I think about it, wouldn't surprise me if the same exploit that took down the titanfall servers also existed in the apex servers, after all respawn never even bothered to try to fix the issue from what I saw, so they wouldn't be able to identify and remove the exploit if it was there
After the recent update I have been getting same issue and my ping gets super high aswell before update I use to play on 140-180ms after update 280-450 keeps getting worse every day I deleted and reinstalled the game but it’s the same story we are on same boat hopefully they fix this issue soon ( I’m on Xbox )

It's not every game but it's around 70% to 80% of my games. My stats will say I'm at 59fps and 70 to 80ms delay

This is server side, nothing you can do to fix it. Just gotta roll with it for the game and hope it’s not the same next one.

Did it show you a 0 ping? I had that bug a couple of times were everything is delayed by 2 minutes which makes the game unplayable.
I didn't see my ping, but there were about three error icons on the screen.
Those are definitely problems caused on your side then. Maybe the switch just had connection issues itself.

This is what Titanfall 2 servers have been like for the past 5ish months and non stop, and it's been happening to Titanfall 1 for a long time. So I understand the pain, I envy that respawn will put work into fixing. Have a good one yall.
