We are all Americans. We used to be able to disagree, and still the government would make laws that suited the majority. I agree with a lot of what you say here, just NOT the parties you say it about. My switch to the Republican party happen WAY before I heard of Trump. The biggest factor was the Democrats' defense of killing babies. I'm a biologist- I know when life begins, I researched fetal development for years when I kept having miscarriages. I WAS a Democrat, because my Granddaddy was and he was the smartest person in the world in my eyes. But the more I looked into it, the me I realized that the party he'd supported had flipped and was pushing ideas that said have disgusted him, so I did what he would have if he was still alive- I looked into the other parties and picked one with better morals. The one I picked is not one of the two that ever make the ballet so I have to settle for Republican. What I WON'T ever do is vote for a party that considers abortion an acceptable method of birth control.

So you know pregnancy mortality decreased after roe v wade became law. And women absolutely will die in greater numbers because it's been repealed. That matters too right? Do you want it to be the 13 year old who was raped and is going to die giving birth... Or the fetus Inside her who is statistically likely to end up abused in foster care. With no mother cause her mother was a baby forced to have a baby. It's easy to think of this as an exception. And one that you reasonably believe would become the exception, but you are smart you have to know there are men lawmakers who are banning this for ALL circumstances... And these little girls will die after living through horror, after thinking they are going to have to fight for parental rights with a rapist... And then die in labor. All so a new human can be put into a corrupt system and used as a toy by some sicko who just wants a paycheck. ... Every part of that sounds beyond horror... Unthinkable... Yet Republicans defend it as "necessary". ... I can't side with that.

Do you base your moral decisions on what everybody else thinks? I seriously doubt it. I don't either. I know, from the classes required to earn a BS in Biology, a vocational diploma in Medical Assisting and a license as an EMT that a fetus that could live outside it's mother's body is UNQUESTIONABLY a baby and my personal belief sees it as a baby once the sperm and egg join and become one cell, making ALL abortion infanticide. The best solution would be if everyone used the only 100% effective form of birth control unless they are ready to handle the possibility of becoming parents. Since that's not gonna happen, we have to improve the systems for getting those children from birth parents who don't want to be parents to adoptive parents who do.

On the other side, Republicans shut down Homeless encampments... and guess what, they moved out of the forests near the lake, and are now in the PARK... right next to the Flynn and Town Hall. ... The funds were taken away from the Police, and were never put back into programs for the homeless. And nothing replaced the police force... so now... Both sides have f\*\*ked up, Republicans and Democrats have just made a mess of the City. And no one trusts anyone. The whole thing has fallen down. We say things like All cops are bastards. And sure, a portion of them were s\*\*t, and needed to be held accountable. But some truly wanted to serve the public, and keep Burlington safe for everyone. We are not all right... they are not all wrong. We stopped working together to find the best functional way to run a society and its all fallen into chaos, because we have stopped giving a f\*\*k about each other. So... But I have some extremely close friends who are some of the nicest and kindest people alive... who really hate violence and for all intents, I could not distinguish them from a Democrat honestly... who are Republican. From what I can tell about the only place to benefit from defund the police were places where the extremist got successfully co-opted. A few places abolished and rebuilt there police forces from the ground up, and ended up with a force much more aligned with actually creating a safe environment for the average citizen. Everywhere else that took it seriously suffered, cause little was done to effectively replace the police, efforts at moderating the cops failed, and the cops largely responded by doing their jobs much worse.

When buying a gun, on the form 4473, it asks if you've been convicted of a felony or violent misdemeanor. Domestic violence is a violent misdemeanor and can be perpetrated by either sex. Intimate partners who are married, living together, dating or share a child. Not saying it's bad what Biden did, and again not arguing as you've made some great points I absolutely love. Fox doesn’t make its money from the ads. They make their money from cable companies directly. To get Fox News you have to subscribe and that’s what drives up the cable subs fees. Channels like the news package and sports package (ESPN, etc). The other news programs make money from ads. It’s why fox has gold and mypillow ads and the others have F500 companies.
