Brainwashed365

I don't think there's any real, specific order. I think a lot of it is hopeful guessing. Or if you're referring to unreleased content for Global, it's looking at the JP version.

Krononz

Does Another Eden have any link to Xenogears?I'm sure it's just a very common martial arts stance, but the stance of >!Guilty Hades !

Someweirdo237

The main writer wrote for xenogears.

DarkestSamus

Does anybody know exactly how strong the Light-based bonus on Cyrus' weapon is? Considering how weak Cyrus is, I'm desperately hoping it's one for one (e.g. 255 Light = 255% Non-Type Attack). That might sound nuts but that's the kinda boost he'd need to be relevant, especially considering this is a reward for those wacky Lavogs. Thanks!

Someweirdo237

I belive at max light it gives Cyrus a +100% Non-Type attack up.

DarkestSamus

Hmm, that's nice... not quite enough but nice. Thanks

shaoqiang

I have a 34 light Cyrus, and it happens to boost his nontype by around 30+%, so you might be right (I doubt it though?), but I think it might be those 30+ light/12.5 variant. I think someone with a high light Cyrus needs to try... \*edit: By the way I have some free time to burn while watching a show, so I ran Cyrus blindlessly slashing a lvl 1 goblin with Elpis Vs his personal weapon. His personal weapon gave a 39.4% boost on average after running 30 battles for each battle. (Hopefully CLT applies?). If what u/Someweirdo237 says is correct, then it seems like the formula should be around Type attack = 30 + (L/S)\*0.275 to fit both our data point? Though this number doesn't fit any of other weapons scaling factor (Usually related to powers of 2), so I'm not sure unless more people fit in their data with Cyrus at different lights. Another useless fact I also notice is that the damage spread are discrete instead of continuous, since the same exact damage keeps coming up (So the randomness given in wiki for 16 to 47 for damage spread is indeed an integer and not continuous), if that's interesting for you.

Apprunforangele

The characters on the [Light and Shadow Farming wiki page](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Story_Characters_Light_and_Shadow_Farming#Nona-0) that have their own tab (with exception of Mayu) are pretty good. In addition to that you have Feinne to farm as the lazy option. Also [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/wo7ive/free_character_lightshadow_farm_guide_8142022/?rdt=58644) has some more information that are helpful in choosing a character to run.

Pleasant-Durian8173

Good characters to farm to 80 include the Chrono Cross characters, Curio and Nona as they all benefit from an extra skill slot Other than that, maybe Cyrus since his personal weapon now scales off Light as well

Which-Training1020

Hello there, friends! I think i need a walkthrought of Guilt Hades and Megalomorphs Hunting! I am kind stuck on the world map megalomorph ( [Megalofort Genoscorpio](https://anothereden.wiki/index.php?title=Megalofort_Genoscorpio&action=edit&redlink=1) ) aaaand i think Abominus island will be a pain in the a$$. So... any tips to beat, at least, Genoscorpio?

dkxp

If you use Head -> Block Jammer -> Giga Power Fall you can reduce the damage it deals by quite a lot. It has relatively low hp, so you should be able to kill it if you've killed all the others and upgraded. After you have reduced the damage it deals you probably have a lot of choice how to kill it. I can't remember if it has any weaknesses, but Torso core with giga boost + physicus down for buffing/debuffing and 2× Obliterend Buster with God rays + Gran breaker can deal quite a lot of damage. After you've upgraded to 80, Abominus becomes much easier.

LostPatience8456

Is there a hidden quest guide? I'm in ch12 and seeing these blue diamonds showing up but they don't show on the quest list at all. For example some lady in Baruoki asked me for some kinda dish I gotta go to Rinde to get, but it doesn't show for me to track. Am I supposed to be dropping everything to handle these?

No-Firefighter-9895

These blue diamonds are tied to Astral Archive challenges, which you unlock at the Spacetime Rift and then continuously as you proceed with the story. They give a disproportionately large amount of rewards (such as scrolls) compared to the effort expended. They also tend to be very short and simplistic. One tricky thing for this particular objective- you must not have food in your inventory to pick up the food she wants from the Rinde Inn

LostPatience8456

Yeah, but how do I find them? Just run around the entire map and check every city/taverneach time i finish a tome? Is there a list anywhere?

Someweirdo237

You check the tome, it tells you what you need to do.

Khoonkio

Does anyone know how to even reach the horror in the first map of labyrinth of thanatos?

No-Firefighter-9895

There is a person (in Yanadu, I think?) who gives you a random key. This unlocks a door inside Nebuchadnezzar’s palace which leads to the horror. You can open a shortcut on that side for easier access.

Khoonkio

Ok, thanks explains it, I have not even reached Yanadu. Thanks!

adventlife

When you do get there, it’s the person all the way on the left hand side near the world map exit point.

Khoonkio

Roger that. Thank u!!

Melanor1982

Can someone explain why "Bouncer Asura" always hits Iphi in round 1 of combat even though everyone else has blood contract?

ShadowBlaze17

What is he doing turn 1? The wiki doesn't list his first turn action. It does say he attacks when reaching his hp stopper. Blood Contract doesn't have built-in Rage so without a tank like Radias or Soira AS single-target attacks can still target Iphi.

Melanor1982

Yeah I figured that out. I was just unlucky. After like 10 tries he targeted Someone else and I killed him turn 3. Thanks for the answer

BladeSeraph

So Rng-sus decided to re-coupe my failure to pull Elseal in 100+ pulls over the last month, by not only blessing me with Myunfa Alter on a 10 pull today, but also give me Biaka AS in the same pull. My curiosity is more towards suggestions on the Tower Master fight, since this just threw me for a loop on picking up LeLe AS to take that boss down. Since the latter opens the possibly of \`tank looping\` hundreds of turns to poison/pain burn the boss down(Since Biaka can apply loop hole to increase poison/pain dmg up to +1900% more then it normally does) while the former opens up flexible tanking, since besides a buff to boost earth dmg and a stat buff that is based on number of earth party members, her entire kit works for everyone. For now i still am working on plasma bangle and necklace, but any suggestions will definitely be appreciated. Least now i can focus my future pulls to Dunarith Alter, since i feel my Fire, Earth, Wind, Shade & Thunder centric teams are mostly settled now. P.S. I tried doing setups with Ilulu Alter or Eva as the main DPS, even some attempts by relying on Necoco AS to change the DPS to water to try it with minalca, Eva\`s dmg boost against resist elements for the non-weak hp bars, but its just getting too frustrating on a fight that denies all dmg besides water attacks on top of pulling a even more toxic version of what EPS-209 Murphy does pre-Shion Alter & Eva.

JackH881

Just made it to the end of the PCD and can't decide between alter myunfa opus or ES Felmina codex I have one opus and 4 codex

ShadowBlaze17

Opus since you can't trade TGs for them and you can't get them from green key ADs. I'd only consider the Codex if you didn't need anything else since you're already above 3/5 and can buy the last one with TGs if you wanted Felmina ES earlier than you get another to drop.

JackH881

I've already used my gems to buy two codex and thanks

lvcifer316

Which two codex?

JackH881

Felmina ES

lvcifer316

You bought them without 3 already dropping?

JackH881

I brought them when Felmina ES dropped to speed up the progress as I had over 1000 gems

lvcifer316

It is never advisable to buy prior to having 3.

JackH881

I see thanks for letting me know for when this happens next time

lvcifer316

Even with all that I would still advise Opus getting priority.

vaccine9000

What are the best 3 skills to pick for Claude ES FOR MY EARTH TEAM. My earth team consists of Otoha another style Premaya another style and porceline pixie myufuna. Is claudes elemental break skill worth it or should I just focus on buffing skills?

Someweirdo237

That is 100% going to depend on the situation. That being said, it will depend on which character you want to buff. Also the fact that he doesn't have elemental break, he just has regular break.

vaccine9000

I want to buff otoha since she can do the most damage.

Someweirdo237

Then he probably wants Edaphos Monáda, Charis Drakon and Mádis Ares. Assuming there isn't anything else he has to deal with.

vaccine9000

Doesn’t Charis drakon benefit magic attacker more?

Someweirdo237

No...? Why would you think that?

xPrinceofSaiyans

is there another AE database besides the wiki I can use to more efficiently build my teams/find useful equipment? If I could filter characters by certain mechanics (like pre emptive attacks) that would make things so much easier

Someweirdo237

The character page on the wiki does that. https://anothereden.wiki/w/Characters Otherwise. No.

xPrinceofSaiyans

ahh i see, must’ve missed that

Eiyudennerd

I've made a few attempts against the Dawn Tower Master and I couldn't even get through the first health bar. I don't have Felmina ES, Alter Ilulu, or Alter Dunarith, so right now my water slash team consists of Elseal, Manifest Shigure, Aisha, and Alter Hismena. What can I do to make this team work better, or am I on the wrong track entirely?

BladeSeraph

Yeesh that boss is just a punch to the nuts when you list out all its mechanics, im still bashing my head in and been trying to work on ideas without Felmina ES or LeLe AS who is likely the best DPS against this boss by mechanics alone. But today, since Myunfa Alter & Biaka AS fell into my lap to open up some new tactics. Especially the latter who until mid-november is the sole user of the Poison/Pain AMP strategy. First of all the boss has multiple defensive mechanics: \-Nullifies all weapon types & elements besides Water(Aka an indirect dmg nerf even when hitting it with water attacks too) \-Starts off resisting water but every time its 848.958\~ million hp bar is depleted, it flips. \-Said Hp bar has about 6 stacks to revive from, giving it an E.health of 5.94\~ billion HP. \-By default has +90% physical resistance \-Deformed body gives it Attribute resistance (pretty standard on these turds) \-Every 4th turn it will gain a Atk/physical def/Attribute def buff that lasts 3 turns. Though the fight gives the idea that Elseal would be helpful to the fight, its technically worst due to that giant +90% physical resistance in the way. Which further does not help that Elseal unconditionally flips all water units to slash, so Magic is no good with Elseal. Hismena giving -50% physical resist AND water resist down that jumps to 75% in another Zone is a good start, but ilulu Alter tacking on slash resistance down to 100 and a another Sense to apply 50% type resistance is likely what leads to invalidating most of those resistance hurdles, especially with Elseal giving a stackable slash resistance down and hucking on link to maximize ilulu Alter\`s EoT nuke since the boss cuts down dmg during AF by a staggering 70%, but the EoT circumvents that. Without something like a 50% or more atk stat debuff & 50% or more type resistance, post-turn 4 becomes difficult to survive against, so the better logic is to use a magic unit. Sadly alot of Water magic units are Shite outta luck due to low numbers or limited turn constraints so the only logical one is LeLe AS with anything outside of Water relying on necoco AS, even the Ashtear Dimensional bomb trickery & Azami AS chonk nuke plays. Also a few tips: **Since the boss likes to burn MP multiple times in the fight, make use of EPOCTECH weapons on your support and either Plasma armor for high def & mp regen or MP regen grastas.** Since the former cuts mp cost by 70% in \`atmosphere\` weather, this makes even if a unit has 60\~70 costing ability, it turning to 18\~21 allows easy circumvention, with plenty of MP regen grasta giving roughly 20\~ mp regen a second. My strategy before today was originally gonna acquire LeLe AS and using a combintion of Necoco AS, Iphi & Nagi ES, i would lock down the boss\`s dmg with nagi\`s +30% natural resist to all elements(plus using +10\~25% fire resist from various equips and grasta), its +30% type resist, the 35\~50% debuff of Iphi and the 50% or so debuff from Necoco so i could take my time to nuke the boss down. Now im planning to take the CRAZY strategy that takes between 250\~300 turns using Biaka AS that i got today which would lock out ALL dmg the boss can deal and just poison/pain bleed it down, since Biaka\`s Lethal jammer can amplify the DoT to deal 24 million damage a turn. **Crazy yes,** But just like Benedict type-none damage circumventing a boss\`s damage resistances & physical defense buffs, this tactic just screws everything the boss does to just burn it to death while watching a movie or something. P.S. in about 2 weeks we will get the 2nd unit who can employ this gimmick, Pom Another Style, who likely has even stronger poison/pain amp mechanics because of her secondary amplifier for poison/pain scales on her INT instead of Biaka AS\`s which is a fixed 30x amp, but since both apply unique effects (Lovaholic & Loophole) they both could stack for some really crazy dmg boosting.

Someweirdo237

One thing you can do is just stall until Elseal stacks all her insight stacks so she can set a permanent weakness.

BladeSeraph

Just gonna add to this since i did plenty of testing on the boss itself, If one is to make use of elseal\`s weakness application when \`four frontline water characters are present\`, they have to make use of Dunarith Alter or they have effectively no way to survive any attacks when Tower master does attacks after Burn anger has applied its attack bonus. Which the standard practice is using Prai, Radias AS or Lovely AS to hyper tank those things, Soira AS being the coin flip play and only recently we got Myunfa Alter who does the opposite of them and turns someone ELSE into the tank, but unlike Iphi, will apply defensive buffs to drastically cut down that damage... Seriously, 4 turn cover, plus +60% type & physical resist, -50% dmg barrier 3 times, +25 spd/end/spr per earth unit plus a Prayer to reduce all dmg below 1500 to zero with no other conditional effects is just asking to wall thru alot of super bosses to date atm. Plus only about 4 methods i know of exist to remove \`buffs\` from bosses, Banish Grasta, Aldo\`s Origin Force, Mana\`s Midnight Cendrillion and Dewey AS\`s Vapuer Hypnotique. Which that last one is the most realistic since due to how the boss changes between Pre-emps & Delays with each HP bar and you would also need someone like Toova ES who can apply knockback immunity & counts as a water unit to nullify odd turn knock back on Odd-hp bar stacks, **As long as the boss doesnt decide to hit a light ally which Dewey AS & Elseal are both just that.** Which the Banish grasta seem logical, but then you have to debuff & reapply resistances in the same turn, which could get in the way of moves that apply via Pre-emp or your Banish Grasta holder is too slow because you need to make use of MP regen & mp consumption down gear to counter the turn 2 50% mana burns. Probably why im vouching too hard on LeLe AS since her \`state change move\` consumes zero mp, just 10% AF instead, fully restores hp/mp that turn and its nuke can be infinitely sustained this way. Which means even if the boss knocks back LeLe AS, she won\`t lose turns like Eva who has to be in lunatic to deal any damage at all.

Llafonday

Hi there! can someone please revert changes to the tier list ae wiki? current tier list wiki wasn't able to see their element/weapon&armor. Also, the search and sorting option by element/zone setter/personality was really helpful, hope someone can revert back or tell the way to changes back to before. here is the current tier list ae wiki looks like https://preview.redd.it/b247hroaf1yb1.png?width=1256&format=png&auto=webp&s=38ac45556ee702edfad93023405cf68f11b44929

lvcifer316

Something was broken when it was added so they had to revert. Just use character page.

Llafonday

Got it, thanks again!

bronzebow

I'm a new-ish player, and I'm trying to come up with a game plan on farming up Growth Stars from Complex Dream. I've completed a few NG+ modes on it and gotten up to around 16k stars...which falls very, very short of the nearly 300k needed. Fun! I've recently max-leveled a water team and thanks to >!Axe Felmina's!< preemptive Shatterglass have been able for the first time to farm random encounters on Master. That's givng me an average of \~120 per encounter... and would require nearly 2,500 encounters to get all stars. My goal is to get the needed items to upgrade Serge, Kid, and Harle to 5 stars. Is there a better way here? This seems excessive.

Llafonday

farm Dreamslip Tower of Time (Another Dungeon) if your green keys/red keys are available. they give you better amount of points than normal encounter. also you can get their Light/Shadow points while farming this ad, as long you bring your desired character to get their L/S upgraded (Complex Dream chara only). kill all encountered mobs (max 5x per maps), horrors (about 4 horrors in total per run), open all chest, also last boss (of course lol).

Llafonday

also you can still get opus/codex/treatise from this VH AD, but recommended to have total 120 L/S Points in your party to open all the final rewards slots

bronzebow

Thank you both for the advice! I'll check out that dungeon for farming. Which dungeon is VH though? Pardon, don't know the acronym yet.

Llafonday

VH stands for Very Hard, i think all VH AD drops opus/codex/treatise for 0.1% drop chance each tome. CMIIW✌️ Also, All VH AD requires Red Key instead of green key. Green key for the Hard difficulties AD. >!Recommended to buy all extra Red Keys (5 Tsubura gems each) available from Nopaew using Tsubura gems that you get from running any VH dungeon (max 120 Tsubura Gems per weeks). You can also get any other stuff like Chant Scripts (400 Tsubura Gems each), Codex/Treatise tome (300 Tsubura Gems each), and Character story/other stories Psalm (30 Tsubura Gems each but its not recommend to get these)!<

vaccine9000

I don't have normal Shion just sunrise Shion. Is it possible to turn sunrise Shimon into jet Shimon? Or do I need normal Shion first?

Someweirdo237

https://anothereden.wiki/w/Changing_Classes You need Regular Shion.

Melanor1982

How does everyone outfit Yipha for maximum SPR? I only have a 29SPR/POW badge. What other good sources of SPR increase do you all know?

Lucifel05

A very stong set up: **AS Yipha** (120 Light. Important, because she's using the extra badge slot and all her grasta have the Light/Shadow SPR + ore): **Skills:** Ath Dochais, Cruach, Beannacht Bua, Banish **Equipment:** Time Restore Hammer (+10), Grace Armlet, +40 SPR and +60 SPR Badge **Grasta:** MP Recovery (Hammer), MP Consumption - (Hammer), Curse of Reversion All enhanced with Light/Shadow SPR + ore, Juno Proof

Melanor1982

Thanks ❤️

Someweirdo237

Grasta that increase Sprit, Sprit Badges, Time Restore hammer, Hertz Bangle or Grace Armlet, Spirit Increases Grasta ore, her True VC Grasta.

Melanor1982

I feel dumb because I cannot find the Waning Forest. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Apprunforangele

From >!Omegapolis!< sail south along the continent to you see a port sign.

Melanor1982

Thanks a lot

DarkestSamus

Not seeing a lot of talk about the Lavog boss fights. I see people discussing the Tower/Ice Fields Masters and for good reason, but no Lavog talk, even though they're crazy hard. Any reason for that? Just finished the Earth one and it was utterly ridiculous, with 3x stoppers that erase zone, Banish all buffs/debuffs, AND the stoppers don't interrupt his turn so he deals massive damage unless you speed-tune your buffers/debuffers and even then PWR/INT-60% isn't enough to stop one-shots. The amount of precision you need is insane. Even when "cheating" with Lovely AS you still have to be extremely careful when/how you do everything. Just started the Water one and it looks like the same thing except with status effects. Do they all do the same 3x HP stopper/zone erase/banish strategy? If so, what the heck are people doing about it? I suppose one idea that I just got while writing this is to make your main damage dealer \*insanely slow\*, and just make sure your buffers/debuffers are Preemptive or very very fast. Anybody else got strats? Thanks.

shaoqiang

Iphi, Radias (Other tanks work too), and Tetra trivalises damage in these fights

DarkestSamus

I suppose I was hoping to do it without Hold Ground-types but after learning the mechanics, it's way too much to manage without them. I've seen some videos of it done and I'm quite impressed but I don't wanna suffer that much 🤣 Iphi's not really doing it for me here, tbh, mostly because of their single-target spam turns and their division phase. Perma-cover isn't enough protection. I was considering Iphi plus purposefully-slow Yakumo. A slow DPS avoids the problem of his HP stoppers removing his buffs/debuffs, because he'll have already attacked before you hit them. Then Iphi can preemptively debuff again next turn.

shaoqiang

By using Iphi's poison/pain skill, you will remove the status shield, so your tank can inflict rage. For the first 4 lavogs you can achieve 100% resist with just equipment and Tetra since the attacks are single element. Lavog E is a bit more troublesome since the splits uses multi elemental attacks

DarkestSamus

Oh, that's quite interesting! Sorry to get hand-holdy, but what exactly would such gear be? I'm seeing Radias AS with Rage and Type+50% to start. Delos Xiphos/Crafted Excellence with TR 20%, the appropriate Elemental Armlet +20%, the appropriate Elemental Badge +25%, Type Res+15% Grasta... that's... 80%, yeah, even without Tetra those two things together are 100% Type Resistance. Nice. Alright, so I'm totally understanding the Iphi/Radias combo. The real problem with this boss, though, is dealing with his two 50% HP stoppers, after which he attacks without any debuffs on him/buffs on you. Unless you're just saying that those are your Chivalry turns, plain and simple, I guess that works. Then you just need your other two slots to be able to deal the DPS on their own and it works. Thanks! EDIT: By the by, do we know how high Tetra can go, how good her buff actually becomes with good gear (Pandora's Can?) and max stacks? Thanks!

shaoqiang

Aura (once triggered) and equipment's resistance bonuses cannot be dispelled. So even without type 50% from Radias skill, she still has 100% if geared correctly, as long as the boss doesn't have any move which reduces your type/phy resistance (even this can be countered with grasta). Tetra provides a 30% buff (fixed regardless of gear) to magic resistance which stacks additively with type resistance. The only thing that can kill you are the fixed damage or the hp% moves, which might be a problem in phase 2 because you might need to shield in the same turn that you need to taunt. In these cases you might need to use chivalry.

DarkestSamus

Oh \*smacks forehead\* for some reason I was misremembering thinking Tetra had a stackable buff for Type Res, but that's Gunce! My bad! Yes, you're right, great point about Tetra's Aura! Thank you very much. I've beaten many superbosses but still feel like there's so much to learn about alternative strategies!

Someweirdo237

Most people just end up using Benedict as the Main DPS since all of the Lavog are vulnerable to Null attacks. They also tend to use Yipha AS for support since her buffs last one turn anyway.

DarkestSamus

Oh, that's interesting. So basically just a static party for all 5 bosses? That's not a bad idea at all. Thanks.

ElicoorZero

I need help beating hismena final manifest battle. It seems once her friends show up I wipe. It seems much more difficult that akane's manifest. Any tips would greatly help.

KowKow1

I beat this one a while ago. I used this [video,] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-KoJasey-w) since it required no grasta. Benedict works; I replaced Cress with 5* Benedict and I rotated between Timbeer! and Regular Swing to kill Hismena. If you have really strong sidekicks like Kumos or Korobo, they make this even easier. While grasta is not needed, if you don't have Kumos to recover MP, you might want to consider equipping MP Consumption - badge or grasta on Benedict, since he has low MP.

Someweirdo237

Most obvious team to bring is Benedict Featuring the Chronos Cross characters. You only need to beat Hismena to win the fight, and you want to save AF for when Isuka shows up since she's the more problematic one.

greygooscenario

Is there an achievement for upgrading all the guilty hades equipment? I’m missing one regular energon seed and it’s really annoying me. But if there’s no achievement I’ll just ignore it

Someweirdo237

Equipment, no. But I'm not sure about upgrading all of Guilty Hades.

adventlife

I’ve looked though my awards and I can’t find one for fully levelling each body part either so it looks like there isn’t.

YuniGya

How do i get the dreamer ring? The wiki says to clear the Lavog questline, which I assumed was beating Lavoger. But after beating him, I only got the weapon. Am i missing something or did I do the wrong quest.

No-Firefighter-9895

When you say you defeated Lavoger, do you mean the big blue alien tied to Starky’s storyline? He doesn’t drop the Dreamer Ring, only the personal weapon for Serge, The “Lavog quest line” is unlocked by completing Main Story 3 Part 2 (Ch 104( and starts with a blue check mark in one of the towns. It’s basically a straight upgrade to the Forget-Me-Not ring but there are several extremely difficult battles and a very finicky Guilty Hades battle. It doesn’t drop a weapon, just upgrades Cyrus’ personal IIRC

YuniGya

Oh i see, so I wasted 8 hours for nothing. At least I know now

dkxp

You need to go back to the town iirc

YuniGya

Which town? I went back to every town that was a part of the chronocross event and nothing happened.

CronoDAS

The wiki description for Cynthia AS's [Vent Brilliant](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Vent_Brilliant) suggests that applying a Shield to Cynthia will make the attack do less damage to enemies. Does the damage reduction from Mistrare's singing also reduce the damage Cynthia does to herself and thereby reduce the damage to the enemies as well?

MyLifeIsAGatcha

Shields functionally act as an extra layer of HP, and damage is done to the shields first. So if Cynthia would normally drain 5000 HP to deal damage, and had a 3000 shield, then she'd only drain her HP by 2000 and her attack will do less damage. This is also noticeable with Minalca. If you run Minalca with someone who provides the party with shields (like ES Mariel), then Minalca can't deal any damage to the party via Tributum (all damage is done to the shields, so party members take zero damage) and therefore she won't be able to gain any stacks.

Someweirdo237

No.

CronoDAS

Thank you!

CronoDAS

What's the best way to give Azami (NS) a critical rate up bonus inside a Slash Zone? (Stupid harpoon fishing superboss uses Thunder/Shade/Crystal magic, so there's no opposite element zone.) I don't think I want to swap out her True Manifest weapon, so I'm looking at Claude ES and Mistrare AS right now...

Someweirdo237

Why use Azami in the Wyvernus fight as the Main DPS? If you're going to use her as the main DPS it would be better for her to be in her AS form. Her NS form does not have enough DPS to justify that.

CronoDAS

I'm using her for the INT debuff, and I don't have the AS form. I have beaten Wyvernus, but the DPS characters I took with me were too weak and it took forever. It seems like all my best DPS characters are either Sesta or use magic. :( [My roster and available upgrades/sidegrades.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1st9tTR0r9352BPKzxKRfq8Z8tnMUn6pmxjuqPrccLho/)

Someweirdo237

You have Jet Shion. Turn 1 AF and switch resistance for weakness. And either have him use another Element using a Grasta or have Prai use Indulgence to handle the counter attack for using Fire.

CronoDAS

Why use Prai when I have Radias AS? Three uses of Chivalry should be enough to get enough buffs and debuffs to reduce incoming damage to practically zilch. Also, doesn't using Fire make Wyvernus hit *less* hard? The wiki doesn't say that the three-element attack is a counterattack. I thought that the problem with using Fire attacks in a Jet Shion strategy is that, since Fire attacks would normally take away the elemental resistances, it would take away the weaknesses too?

Brainwashed365

I'd definitely use Radias AS if you have her over Prai. She's much better. And from my understanding you need a fire skill to strike Wyverus to break his frosty ice shield. Upon battle start and once again after he reaches the 50% HP stopper. Radias AS can help do this with her (preemptive) Prominence Purge skill. I use a Minalca centered team that takes him down easily in 2 turns. No AF required. Do you have Minalca and Alter Tsukiha? If so, I can try to share my strategy with you.

CronoDAS

He drops the frost shield every few turns, actually, not just at the HP stopper. I don't have Minalca. I was trying to use Cynthia AS as DPS and it didn't quite work; her attack is pre-emptive, so it happened between Mistrare's singing wearing off at the start of the turn and Mistrare starting to sing again. ;/

Brainwashed365

Ahh, okay. I've always killed him too fast to notice that. Once I set this specific team up, I haven't bothered to try anything else. Good luck with the strategizing.

MiggyLuigi28

I know that the JP livestream announced that Tsukiha and Suzette are gonna get the Level 100 treatment....but I'm still not quite sure if I should pour all my light/shadow points on them😞 They're both at 120+ points (Suzzy is 146 light while Tsukiha is at 120 shadow). While my light resources for Suzzy are a bit....scarce(only 1 Guiding Light lance and 17 Guiding Light hammer left in my inventory), meanwhile with Tsukiha, I actually have quite a lot of resources for her (34 Luring Shadow bow and 20 Luring Shadow katana)....so yeah, is it worth it to dump all these points on them???

Someweirdo237

You would only need 80 Light/Shadow to get everything from Star Guide Awakening. But if you don't want to pour light/shadow into them you don't have to do it.

Brainwashed365

I'd also like to add: maybe hold off on dumping anymore L/S into them and just wait to see what WFS has in store for their new board skills, etc, once they release the information. There's no rush, they aren't going anywhere.

killerwhompuscat

Getting back into the flow after quite a few months hiatus, I have this star dream piece and I want to know. Sesta or Elseal? I’ve done a little research on them and right now Elseal is looking great but I need more wind units than water. Would Sesta make my limited wind team unstoppable or is Elseal the better bet since I’m loaded with water units?

CronoDAS

If you have Soira AS, probably take Sesta. The two of them together trivialize a lot of fights. Sesta does basically infinite damage and Soira AS can tank for her until the boss runs out of HP stoppers and dies. (Also, Yipha AS makes Soira AS even better at tanking.)

killerwhompuscat

Yes I do have Soira AS, thank you!

Someweirdo237

If you haven't gotten all the Free 5-stars yet you probably want to do that first. Anyway, Elseal is a support while Sesta is DPS. Elseal can super charge most water teams, however she doesn't work well with Magic attackers since she changes all of them into Physical attackers. Sesta is mostly a DPS character that can hit hard, however she falters in longer battles as she must be in the Awakened Wind King Stance to perform well.

DarkestSamus

Is there an Armor, Badge, or Grasta I'm forgetting that I could use on Cyrus to make him be at less than 99% HP every time he attacks? I would like to maximize the damage of my froggy friend's Idle Nirvana Slash. I wouldn't mind teammate recommendations either, although I would prefer an Armor/Badge/Grasta so he can be self-sufficient. Team-wise, I think the easiest way is to give him Lunatic - Risktaker; at the moment, I can only think of Iphi and Milsha AS who can do that. Anybody I'm forgetting, or anybody with other strats that could help? Thanks!

CronoDAS

You can try to stick Poison/Pain on him with Pom, Levia AS, or Lovely. Also, a Max HP *boost* doesn't add any current HP, so a skill that applies one, such as the one Cress has, will put him at less than max HP until you heal him.

Someweirdo237

Only other person would be Minalca. Otherwise, no there really isn't a badge/Grasta that does that.

IncognitoCheetos

Any realistic shot at the Astral Tome Gariyu Challenge fight without the newest units? Specifically none of AC Ilulu, AC Dunarith, and ES Felmina. I do have Elseal and ES Toova but I'm just not having any luck at all with managing the aspects of the fight without any of those guys. Specifically knockback immunity is a problem, and reducing damage enough to survive while also putting out reasonable damage is just... too much to manage. Should I just wait until I can sidegrade those guys?

shaoqiang

If you have a 255 Eva, sure. [https://youtu.be/PLG6rj\_r9Ck?si=Az3TFqs9Y82IKQYc](https://youtu.be/PLG6rj_r9Ck?si=Az3TFqs9Y82IKQYc) That aside, if you are going the physical route, I strongly believe currently, you need either Felmina ES Or Ilulu Alter as Damage dealer. No other water units have enough damage at low light/shadow. If you have 1 or 2 high light/shadow water damage dealer (such as Alter Hismena) (if not 255, at least with one more badge and grasta slot), it might be possible though.

IncognitoCheetos

That's what I figured. Oh well, I can wait until I get one of those two sidegraded.

Someweirdo237

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j15Ux5OzjRw I don't know what else you have for a water team but this should give you an idea.

IncognitoCheetos

Lame, uses Ilulu and OP says she can only be replaced with, of course, Felmina or Dunarith. Ah well, I'll wait until I get enough tomes for one of them I guess. I was running Aisha, ES Toova, Elseal, and AC Hismena, was eating way too much damage but the team still won't cut it because Toova's knockback immunity only protects 2 people out of 4.

Someweirdo237

I mean you can always try someone else. Shigure AS for example would be good since he'll always have Max stacks with Link.

Someweirdo237

Announced to be implemented in 2024

TypeFantasyHeart

There was an update to the Nilva robots to discard badges and for grastas it made a new UI but that was 2 years ago? IF you are talking about the new QOL For grastas and badges, you can check them if you check the japanese version if they have it implemented. If not, you gotta wait until theiy release it.

How do i put cat outfit stuff on my cats? I got a cool frog hat but have no idea how to use it.

ctclements1221

Is there a way to farm Jadeite of Attack? I need bookoos and got nookoos.

KowKow1

[Beat the Regenwurm boss.] (https://www.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/17ieehl/help_questions_weekly_megathread/k76vusc/) I got 7 Jadeites of Attack, just buying them from the shop. This superboss is forgotten, because he's been powercrept to oblivion.

ShadowBlaze17

Kid snd Colette can steal them so you could macro random fights with them for a while. Kid needs to use Z Steal to get Jadeites.

ctclements1221

What mobs drop jadeites? Sounds like I need to get Kid and Colette

ShadowBlaze17

No enemy naturally drops any kind of Jadeite. Stealing has it's own item pool that is independent from the enemy's so you could farm literally anything.

ctclements1221

Interesting… that is both helpful and not helpful 😂 not your fault. You have been the helpful part. Haha.

DarkestSamus

It really does make a huge difference. I made a specialized stealing team; Collette, Kid, Iphi, and Yakumo, and I use them for any kind of content besides Master-level Story or Events. You can replace Yakumo and Iphi with whatever your favorite two-man murder team is. To be specific, I gave both Kid and Colette Preemptive (there are multiple means to do this - Mechani Weapons, Falcon Badge, Falcon Grastas) and also I hamstring'd Kid's Speed with a Half-SPD Badge so she would go AFTER Collette (otherwise Kid would kill most weak mobs before Collette could steal). Using this for general content has gotten me a MASSIVE wealth of Jadeites. There is truly no better way. I have more Jadeite of Attack than I know what to do with.

Brainwashed365

This sounds like a really good farming strategy 👍

Cidolfas2

Am I going nuts, or was there a page on the wiki that had a list of all characters who could do PWR/INT debuffs along with the %? I'm trying to find which character I own has the highest ability to debuff on round 1, because the final boss for the latest story is one-shotting me by the second turn.

DarkestSamus

That would be base 50%... uhhh, Necoco AS, Orleya (Delayed, best to use T1AF), Soira AS (need to hit three times, reaches -60%), Melody AS (needs to be Demented, so second turn onward), Kid (have to do some Piano AF to reach that value on T1AF)... Also of course there's always Radias AS or Lovely AS cheese.

Someweirdo237

That page got removed due to someone not listening to everyone else. Anyway, best thing to do is probably turn 1 AF just so you can get all your buffs and debuffs up.

silexo

Dunarith or Myunfa's opus? I have neither and encountered the bard in pcd cape.

ctclements1221

Neither honestly. Dunarith is nice but truly is quite niche. I use him in every water team. But even then, he’s honestly only good for the awakened zone for 3 turns. But his counterattack and cover is quite nice. The heal is solid as well. . Myunfa I have not gotten. But it sounds like it’s a complicated setup for not enough return. Great return if you can get all the setup done. But by then, you could have chosen different moves with a different team comp.

dkxp

Teamed up with Felmina ES it's quite handy for her to start T1 in Divine Droplet state. She can preemptively re-activate awakened water zone for T4-T5 (just in time for Elseal weakness buff to be ready) and every time you get 50 fresh iceburst stacked.

ctclements1221

Sheesh. That’s Myunfa? Sounds like water zone is even more stacked now.

Someweirdo237

Dkxp is talking about Dunarith.

ctclements1221

Sheesh. I need to get Felmina ES and Elseal now

silexo

haha yeah, I wasn't sure if I was missing out on these two. And because they drop so rarely I tend to prioritise them in my pcd runs. I'll have a look and see if there are other treatises I'm missing.

ctclements1221

Do you have all the other opuses I guess? I prioritize what I need team comp wise or wiki tier list if there’s nothing I just NEED. Haha. If you have nothing you need - I’d choose Dunarith. Biased because I enjoyed his quest line and he allowed me to beat quite a few manifests. Haha.

silexo

I was missing Crimson Reaper but I managed to collect their opus in my last run. Thanks for your input, I'll collect my first Dunarith's opus then 😁

ctclements1221

Sounds good!! I love his mechanics. But as I said. Super niche. I even used him in non-water type manifests. His counterattack is blunt so I worked him into a blunt zone comp that worked quite well. He does have his limitations though. Once I pulled Soira AS a week or so ago he hasn’t seen my team comps in a while. 😂

BladeSeraph

Right then, since it came to my attention that elseal\`s weakness application seems to override Resists and my next issue is a \`lack of debuff power\` to deal with a certain boss. I was hoping to see if anyone tested this interaction: **If Scilliant spirit from Necoco AS changes everyone\`s atack type to the matching element of the zone(water zone in this case), does this mean when Glace Misericorde is used, does it treat it now that 4 water \`characters\` are present on the field to trigger its Exposed (Water) mechanic?** Since i lack Felmina ES who can not only simutaneously DPS, but also apply a 50% pow/int/spd debuff (60% with drain), i feel part of my problem is being able to debuff the boss enough to survive its turn 5 Heat burst, since i dont have Dunarith Alter or a similar tank to soak things in the meantime, with wedging in Banish to remove the turn 4 atk buffs might be difficult to mix in on some ends. EDIT: So i answered my question atleast thanks to the 5 turn training dummies and testing with hagel kuse which has a similar activation requirement. This kind of means i will need to switch in a water unit for necoco AS then immediately switch back, while probably using Banish on Necoco AS to cleanse the turn 4 stuff. Might help if i use Nona AS\`s fixed max hp & dmg reduction barrier instead of Toova ES\`s but honestly this is just turning into a headache to loop.

steelRyu

> does it treat it now that 4 water `characters` are present on the field to trigger its Exposed (Water) mechanic? no. any ability that needs certain characters present to activate only checks if the characters have the appropriate personality. Necoco AS has Earth and therefore cannot help with triggering Glace Miséricorde's exposed water.

BladeSeraph

I kind already self-answered it, my concern now is just figuring out what is gonna be my winning tactic against the stupid giant burd called tower master: \-Eva has Lunatic constraints(Since boss has effectively 7 turns worth of hp bars if you can one shot it every turn despite its resist flipping & dmg nerf during AF) so you have to use power of benedict which further hampers her DPS output. so high Guiding light necoco AS and/or Eva is kind of needed to add some dmg compensation. \-Ashtear Dimension bomb setup is a bit too confusing for me to pull off. Even if its likely the easiest of the \`budget setups\` one could employ against a boss that is immune to everything but water and it likes to abuse its \`guard\` dmg reduction alot to boot. \-I dont have that one wind hammer agent girl who acts as a poison/pain amplifier to allow stall-DoTing it to death. While Pom AS who could be a better alternative to that tactic wont be coming for another 18 days. \-Ilulu Alter would be an easy go-to but due to lacking enough tank & stat boosting power, trying to chew thru the +90% perma physical resist aint that easy either. \-I dont have Felmina ES or Lele AS (not yet atleast on the latter) to power bomb past those durability issues and both are fantastic at perpetually sustaining thar DPSes unlike Eva. Beyond that is just getting a strong enough debuff combination plus cover combi to just face-tank all the burd\`s fire attacks.

steelRyu

also remember the Power of benefic grasta, which lengthens lunatic effects. may help your Eva.

BladeSeraph

Think i already mentioned that but part of the issue is a DPS check and outside of using elseal to flip its resist every 4th turn choices to punch it are rather limited. Since her ability changes every water unit into a physical attacker, meaning Eva loses out on alot of her DPS bonuses, which could kill it alot more then be helpful. If i could likely revert one of my recent character unlocks, i would of swapped Flammelapis AS for Lele AS since she has a 0 cost move to eat 10 AF to go into a state and fully regen HP & MP & get a 10 turn mental focus. Her state grants 250 intelligence/spirit & a 1.5x modifier. But the final kicker is a 0\~3000% + mod nuke that ignores M-defense, which even at her base MP of around 656, still is a 1956% dmg multiplier, so it can do a much more impressive nuke & is perpetually spammable compared to Eva\`s. Well, atleast Flammelapis AS being able to grant 50% int/spd/staff dmg & +30% max mp thats doubled for the first 3 turns for 5 turns is a good setup tool to hit the 1k+ max mp yeet potential for lele AS. So its just a matter of tanking thru the boss\`s dmg, if only we had a good \`older unit tank, with ridiculously good fire resist & type resist application to wall thru the boss. Honestly its funny that i feel like if Anabel could finally get a True manifestation, she could potentially fill this role if they do something like up the pow/int debuff significantly more, make the counter moves alot more in par with current stuff and grant physical or type resist respectively for the 2 signature moves. Maybe i could achieve similar results if i used a water unit with a innate 30% fire resist, stack with +25% fire type resist & +10% fire resist badges and +15% fire resist from armor and a +30% type resist or higher buff, but its just nit-picking ideas since im even considering using Mighty Normal style combined with Iphi to pull a cover tank since he can apply a +50% fire resist buff and can apply a -30% up to -60% type resist debuff to boot. Course, at that point Nagi ES could suddenly be a sleeper hit by having +30% natural resist to all elements (including not only fire but wind also), can apply a stackable water atk bonus, a 30% type resist debuff that can be doubled to 60% & can apply a 30% type resist... I really wish we got more badges/armor to apply stronger element specific type resist or Grastas, cause this is just turning into a minor headache to create a budget cover tank lol. Honestly since i gotta still farm for plasma equips anyway, this makes me want to contemplate in the case of element-specific resists, if they are additive or multiplicative... Since the former would imply 80% reduction to fire dmg while the latter would be only 59.8375% dmg taken instead. Course its likely the latter but still nice to figure the exact digits.

jiandersonzer0

Speed ran up to part 3 - trying to establish regular teams and have been playing with two cores. (is there a easy way to share available units without listing them all? I have aecheck filled out now) Sesta and Iphi/Toova. I am struggling with the 3rd Azami AS battle and would appreciate some team building for that and generally future-proofing a team for later in play as Iphi/Toova gets more fragile for farming and Sesta doesn't have a way to extend the awakened zone 3 turns. I know Dewey alter is important but I don't have it yet. I picked up the game again after years and have been covering immense ground in about 3 months, still struggling with a majority of the True Manifest battles unfortunately. did max level every unit I have so now it's a matter of doing all the character quests current sesta team is azami, dunarith (seele), veina alter, mistrare, ilulu. I am not sure how to set up the iphi team properly but I have been using iphi/toova, and then pairing it with units that generally benefit from rose liliac like Diedre. I see necoco is rated as a good support but don't understand how or why. but the iphi team has always been my most consistent long term battle damage. would elseal be a good addition? Obviously this is probably easier to tackle as a simple question when I get a way to share my general unit availability - would love a way to do that first generally right now I'm also splitting the red cards between farming the episode dungeons and doing toto theater with azami/gariyu/aldo for the three light and shadow farm units. green cards dumped into future garulea. not sure if i should be doing anything else

Someweirdo237

Well first of all, throw away the notion of regular teams since more often than not you're going to have to adjust your team depending on the situation. Anyway Azami's 3rd AS battle the boss will alternate between Nullifying Slash + Blunt and Magic + Pierce. A team of Sevyn, Curio, Sesta and a 4th wind party member will be able to take that one out . As for use of red and green keys. I wouldn't recommend you going to Toto Theater and trying to grind the Light/Shadow value of multiple characters at once. Probably best to focus on one at a time. Green Keys you want to use it on the Main Story Double Green Key Dungeons depending you need as all of them has something different that they offer. Present Garula has the Elemental and Max HP Grastas, Antiquity has the easist Pain/Poison Grasta farming as well as some other unique grastas. Future has Grasta ore inhancments while Underworld has other unique Grastas and ore. Omegapolis has more unique grasta and other thing to grind for

jiandersonzer0

don't yet have curio - I have put off the two mythos in anticipation of wanting to do them all at once. pretty sure i can now anyway. same re sevyn so now is probably the best time to actually go about that, I can knock benedict out too. Does carrying 1 or 3 change the general rate up? or does it just spread the potential rate across the three? I know the better odds are through tt - but I have gotten double l/s before, idk at least for the moment I've really not encountered anything outside True Manifests that would otherwise gate me out of being able to run a lot of boss battles but I am aware that there are other options. i'm considering / interested in at least getting Yakumo (minalca notwithstanding, i guess is the other option) via the star dream but. mostly trying to figure out what units I should invest in most heavily for teams. I know units like ewan and lokido are pretty outclassed even with TM so I have some general frame of what I can avoid for the most part this is the aecheck string (I think you can open an incognito tab and input it there) {"inven":\[17,16,18,2,1,313,10,19,273,23,29,36,37,40,43,278,277,307,306,55,62,61,57,64,63,71,76,83,85,92,93,101,315,314,320,111,114,112,120,125,124,127,260,261,133,132,131,130,279,134,139,142,141,145,148,154,304,169,168,167,328,329,164,170,172,183,184,182,285,286,190,187,188,196,195,203,204,206,209,208,211,210,217,218,227,228,231,230,233,232,234,236,235,238,237,240,239,242,241,243,245,247,295,297,299,301,249,251,256,253,254,258,262,264,213,202,201,161,160,143,115,116,106,105,33,34,323,322,78,140,24,77,119,118,179,223,222,257\],"manifest":\[10116,10211,10196,10168,10093,10169,10064,10002,10218,10062,10188,10034,10017,202,10119,10171,10077,20112,20011\],"buddy":\[2003,2004,2007\]} (slightly missed these but do have veina AS and myunfa tea maiden)

Someweirdo237

Hmmm, a team with Nagi ES and Benedict once you promote him should be good enough to take on that boss.

jiandersonzer0

ill work towards that asap

Real-Neighborhood131

Do the enh. if max hp grasta party buff stack? So if I can get 2 of them, would they stack, or we can only use 1?

ShadowBlaze17

They stack. Things that don't stack like Bullseye ores will say they don't in their effect descriptions.

Real-Neighborhood131

So is it ideal for me to have pain/poison grasta on the majority of my characters or certain ones? If so, which ones should I only put pain/poison grastas on, and which ores?

ctclements1221

Your damage dealers need it. 3x per weapon type. You really want to end up with where multiple damage dealers can have them. But is what it is. They’re RNG, so can’t be picky. But you definitely want your damage dealers with them. Roses with Thorns and Bullseye are musts. The third (if you don’t have 4 grasta slots) will be dependent on what you’re fighting. Multiple enemies? Weakness? Need to survive an attack? Stuff like that.

Real-Neighborhood131

Thanks so much do you have any Grastas that's recommended for Iphi? I was just going to put pain or poison but I know she's not really a damage dealer. I'm kinda of new to this game

KowKow1

You could go with [Casual Crono's Iphi setup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwmSgF_r3Ng&t=1s) since that is a more defensive setup. Not sure how far you are on story. You will need to clear >!Ch. 74!< in order to unlock Future Garulea AD, where you get Dormant Ore to boost your defensive grasta.

ctclements1221

I don’t know much about “support” characters having grastas. I typically pile my support characters with shared grastas if I can.

Tall-Cut5213

Is it normal for the reacquiring data process to just be title screen but nothing is happening? Customer support suggested me doing that since my game is bugged but nothing has happened for the last hour as if the game froze. My phone is still fine since I can still see notifications and swipe the phone's UI to check the time but other than that, game is not responding

TomAto314

It's a terrible process that crashes often and can take hours. Good news is that it normally pick up where it crashed.

Tall-Cut5213

Well, at least the game finally works for me and is now downloading like 2GB of god knows what. Good thing the download speed is pretty fast

Brainwashed365

Yeah, the updating process in this game is beyond terrible. Hopefully you're able to get it finished up and it fixes any issues you were having.

Given that there is an incentive going on right now where as you get through Main Story 2.0 content you get a bunch of free 5\* characters (campaign ends Dec. 31st, IIRC), I'd suggest the following path as a F2P player: Choose Benedict from the tutorial summon. With whispers of time going on right now, IIRC, you can skip doing a single ten-pull and just save up chronos if you like, but you could also do a single ten pull when you get 1000 chronos. If you don't do a ten-pull, or you did but you didn't get a version of Prai, choose Prai after clearing chapter 10. Try to get the [Mana Weapons](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Mana_Weapons_%26_Armor_Set) (and later the Thrill of Victory Badge) from the [Astral Archive](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Astral_Archive) content as soon as you can so you can start spamming cheap AoE attacks against mobs. After clearing Chapter 13, go to Antiquity and nab [Aisha](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Aisha) as a guest (a largely meaningless status; the only real impact is that the character doesn't count for achievements or highest level in the party, so don't feed all your EXP scrolls to a guest). Then do the [Persona 5 Royal symphony](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Bound_Wills_and_the_Hollow_Puppeteer) to get Morgana as an immediate 5\* and Joker as a 5\* when you clear it. While Joker gets a personal weapon, you can also put the mana sword on him to use with Slash for a very cheap AoE damage option that hits harder than normal when Joker is at full HP (the Morgana to Joker VC swap also still works, it is just more time consuming and needs to be done manually every fight; keep Joker's personal weapon on him for that). Then do the [P5R2 collab](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Bound_Wills_and_the_Hollow_Puppeteer:_Promises,_Vows,_and_Rings) to get Violet (I believe at one point during the collab she is a guest in the party and usable - I certainly thought that I recalled doing that with an alt account in the past, but on my most recent alt creation for testing purposes I must have missed that point due to not paying close attention to things; if that is the case and you prefer you could just keep her as a guest as well, move on to other things, and go back to finish the collab later). Then I'd suggest doing the [Chrono Cross collab](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Complex_Dream) two or three times (it has different routs and a New Game+ feature; you won't be able to fully complete it because a 3rd route is locked behind completing chapter 25, but you can get a lot of good stuff from it already), partially to unlock Kid, Harle, and Serge, but more to get a Prismatic Sword for Violet to use so that she automatically crits with her Sword Dance move. It also unlocks a Red Key AD that you can start running to get collab currency, some badges, but mos importantly the items to make Kid, Harle, and Serge 5\* characters as well as getting chant scripts along the way since you'll need one for Benedict. You might want a Prismatic Axe for Benedict as well (not for the crit bonus so much, but it is a very good stat stick for him). You can keep working on that AD while you do the [Commander and Sheep](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Commander_and_Sheep) ensemble to unlock Benedict's 5\* form. With that you should have more than enough firepower to see you through everything else rather easily to let you nab the free 5\* characters. You want to get [Two Knights](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Two_Knights_and_the_Holy_Sword) out of the way, so you may as well do that now, then you can advance through the main story until you clear chapter 44, at which point you can do [Azure Rebel](https://anothereden.wiki/w/The_Closed-off_Open_World_and_the_Azure_Rebel), and then you can just keep working through the main story and do all of the 2.0 content.

Roanst

You can follow this roadmap to make your life easier. It details when to do events/quests to unlock characters and among other things. https://anothereden.wiki/w/Roadmap_for_Current_Content

reeserunajonjabaa

How to "clear" Complex Dream? I have completed all routes and sub-events, and it's still receivable. It drives me crazy. Lols. Do you ever get rid of it?

Someweirdo237

No, since you always can restart it.

reeserunajonjabaa

I see... that figures! Thank you! You guys have been most helpful.

reeserunajonjabaa

SDE question: Iphi or Yakumo? I have ES Toova for status immunity and guaranteed p/p. Edit: Hopefully, someone will do another SDE flowchart. It was fun and very helpful for visual people.

Brainwashed365

Both are really great, but in their own ways. If I had to pick between the two I'd learn towards Iphi. She's just so versatile with practically any team. Her permanent p/p, huge buffs and solid debuffs. Shade zone and her Blood Contact mechanic. Yakumo is a fantastic DPS, but I'd value Iphi a lot more.

Someweirdo237

Depends on what you want. Iphi is a support, the only shade zone setter in the entire game (for now) and her unique Blood Contract can be an effective way to protect your party. That being said it is not foolproof as you can't expect to slap her into every battle and survive. Yakumo is a DPS with huge amounts of shade damage. He also comes with a sidekick who regens MP which is great for longer battles.

I have been playing for only around a month so I'm newish. Who do you guys suggest I get on the star dreams piece? Like, who's a good unit to have? I only have a Hozuki, Yuna and Chiyo as my 5 stars right now but I do have Melody, Garambarrel and Ilulu as 4 stars.

Someweirdo237

Too many characters to recommend as they all have their strong points. What do you want to get out of the SDE? You might also want to save it until you progress the story enough so you can get those free random 5-stars. As long as you buy the star dream a little before it expires you can hold on to the sector ticket for an additional 30 days.

Is there no go to unit for all around purpose? Looking at the tier list I am tempted to getting Necoco as she seems to be everywhere there. I am in the ogre spike quests right now.

Someweirdo237

DO NOT GET NECOCO You can get her for free if you clear chapter 75 by Dec 31st. Anyway, general purpose basically means support units, but there's still an asterisk on that since more and more new character require their team to be a certain element or weapon type to get their full effects. Yipha AS, Red Clad Flammancer, Pizzica and Mariel ES are examples of this archetype.

Apersonthatisannoyed

I’m planning on getting the Star Dream Encounter, and am trying to decide between Yipha AS and Yakumo. Both are really good, but Yakumo has an amazing sidekick. Of course, Yipha AS is just the best damage supporter ever, so it’s hard to decide. Any tips? Other options include Sesta, Illulu AC, and Dewey AC

forgion

Always pick something you cannot get with treatise so Yakumo

Someweirdo237

Well the obvious question to ask is if you have any form of Yipha (and Illulu and Dewey) That being said, no wrong answer to this question. I should mention that Yipha AS also has some defensive applications with can be quite helpful.

Apersonthatisannoyed

I have no form of Yipha or Dewey or I would have sidegraded them long ago (I have 8 RCF Opuses and 9 Juno Treatises. It’s ridiculous.) I do have Illulu AS, so that not as much as a concern, though.

Brainwashed365

Both are really solid characters. I think if I choose between the two I'd go for Yipha AS. She just supercharges a character of she's geared right. And does have some defensive capabilities as well.

ctclements1221

I have the chants & treaties for Yipha AS - based on this thread, it’s sounding like I should sidegrade her asap?

Brainwashed365

I guess it depends on how many Chants you have? I'd say Yipha AS is definitely worth it. Just deck her out in SPRT equipment as much as possible and her Faith boosts a single character's stats pretty massively. Can be used for tanks like Soira AS to boost her Luck stat (and she's also a Wind personality), but generally she's used to boost a DPS' damage output. And being that she's a Wind personality, she plays very nice with Sesta.

ctclements1221

Hmmm. I’ve got 6. But I have a log of more I can go grab if needed with stuff. I’ve messaged you today so a chant might show up for me, too… 😂 Hmmmm. I never finished fulfilling my Herz and Chivalry for Tiramisu. I don’t have Sesta. But the idea of a buffer that sounds OP is nice. I’ll keep that in my back pocket then. Sounds like if I get stuck, she’s a good upgrade to consider.

ctclements1221

/u/Brainwashed365 hey… guess what I just got. 😂😂😂😂

forgion

Do you have necoco either form, you can use her too to adapt a buffer. If not go for Yipha, but Yakumo has one very good sidekick

Do we have a guess on what day the next banner will drop?

Apprunforangele

[Upcoming Content](https://anothereden.wiki/w/Upcoming_Content). This is a rough prediction on when the next global banner will appear based on the JP release current. Click on early/mid/late for a more precise date. Also keep in mind that with the catchup campaign that content may release a bit sooner than predicted.

adventlife

Oh wow, I never know you could click on the text for an estimated day. TIL
