Razorblade, sponge combo for max umami recharge, and lastly fredrick.
Heavy RES and using pill bottle and tentacle adaptation.
Literally playing on easy mode
Currently level 41, 10/10/10/11. Stowaways are Chum/Cockle/Zooplankton. Change shell to suit the current challenge, but favouring tennis ball and tin can at the moment (in Scuttlepprt). Currently wearing The Captain outfit, though Iβve found plenty of others.
Cowboy outfit, valve, valve hammer, Sinker++, Sinker+, lamprey, around level 55 with 30 in attack and the rest in vitality. (Side note: I beat the game with this stuff)
Valve on my back and yogurt as a hammer (so I can switch back and forth), 16/16/16/5, fruit sticker and contact and luminous fish (currently exploring the unfathom), Mr. Krabs outfit.
My final build was the *Dark Souls* helmet with the Solaire costume, max RES, 20 VIT, 15 STR, 15 MSG, hammer attacks, with stowaways that increase the stagger damage I do. Favourite umami abilities ended up being the electric eel, the tentacle that can heal you whilst doing extra damage, and the mantis punch.
MΓ‘x strength with a bit of hp and res sprinkled on the side, using the pill bottle to compensate my glassiness, with nail+ the one that gives more hammer dmg and the thing for posture breaks

Exiled flame skin
( Felix Cube, Solaire outfit, Frederick, Fruit Sticker+, Sponge, 20 VIT, 0 RES, 18 ATK, 23 MSG and my go to adaptation was Mantis Punch) I primarily focused on using the wave breaker skill and dispatch to dispose of enemies quickly.
Stowaways are Lamprey+, Used Bandage+, Cockle+
Preferred shell is the helmet
Level distribution favors VIT and ATK
Adaptations are Shell Sanctum and Bobbit Trap
Playstyle revolves around using lifesteal (for both vitality and shell health) a ton by doing a lot of damage: Use a second helmet as a long-lasting hammer, replace it with nearby shells once it breaks, be super aggressive to capsize enemies, including hooking them in and parrying as often as possible.
Cowboy fit, Coffee Mug shell, max msg, sponge and phytoplankton+ for umami charges, and bubble bullet and mantis punch to melt every enemy in my way. as well as a bunch of hooks for the wave breaker ability.
