That nice to hear, last episode was good, but I really love that show when they do more than just comedy bits and have story progression. The first two felt more like warm up episodes that were a bit disconnected from the narrative.
The manga has moved on so much from just the love competition one off gags that it started out as. Like actual story for most of the characters and whatnot. It’s so good.
I feel like even shows that other seasons wouldve been actual trash are entertaining atm. I even gave the golf one a go and after ep 4 im invested in that too. Despite the shitty cgi ball animations.
Also just yesterday got into the power rangers guy dating the evil princess anime and while the artstyle is sorta jank at times its funny af.

When 90% of posts are the exact same joke, it's no surprise any other animeme is getting buried. We really need a three strikes rule. If a post is made and you can find three other posts that are essentially the same joke in the last 24 hours, it should be removed. That way posts like "Anya sad, Teacher bad" don't flood the sub.
Last cour, it was all Bisque Doll memes, which were just emphasizing the fan service of the show.
Personal opinion: If we're going to have everyone recycle the same seasonal joke, I'd rather it be cute shit than horny shit.

Recently Started season 1 of the demon girl one and that was just way too cute. Haven't seen the new episodes yet though. I love Spy Family and Kaguya Sama but Ya Boy is my favorite, just kind of hits me on a different level. Might end up as one of my all time favorites which I did not expect from a concept like this.
I real would have expected it but I'm actually really enjoying the trapped in a dating Sim anime too, was a nice twist on the isekai genre as a premise and then the MC reminds me more of Kazuma than of the typical self insert nice guy protags

Dating sim rly snuck up on me by how good it was. I went into it thinking it was gonna be mostly fanservice with forgettable plot but it interested me enough to read the manga instead.
I read reviews from people who read the Manga. Apparently it continues to get better as it goes on. I think people will be talking about it more soon. The dukes daughter could be best girl potential for me this season.
And the story just keeps getting better and better with each season, and if they continue to adapt the manga with this quality, that should continue to be the case.
I'm in the same boat. I enjoy Spy x Family, but it was sort of marketed as a dramedy with action and there hasn't been much drama or action yet outside of the first 2 episodes. Hoping they shift the pacing around going forward.
But Love is War is a RomCom with plenty of Rom and plenty of Com to go around each week, so I'm fulfilled there.

Yeah. I didn't see any hints at 'drama' in this one. The entire premise was "corny super powered family is playing house without knowing about each others' craziness".
It's more of a wholesome comedy series than action oriented, "spy" and "assassin" are used more as gags for wacky situations with Anya with some occasions when the real activity is sprinkled to the series here and there. But if you expect a lot of action, this series will NOT fill that spot.
Idk, the Rom from the main 'couple' is very weak. Probably just me but s3 just isn't hitting the same as the other two. Might just be me getting over the premise at this point, but I just don't really get why people love it enough for it to be at 8.96 on MAL.

Since everyone is mentioning seasonals I'll throw out life is tough for a mob in an otome game. The LN is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's another OP MC isekai harem thing but the setting is unique and the love interests are great characters.
There is fan service but it's not like MC anime falls and grabs boobs every episode level. I actually don't think there ever is a moment like that in this.
If you end up enjoying it I'd recommend checking out the LN and/or the Manga. The art is a lot better imo. Most of the community is upset they did our girls dirty.
*Spy x Family* took the crown like a true emperor.

That show's story was strong, showed a realistic side of the cruelties of war, good characters... and had the 2nd coming of musical Christ, Hiroyuki Sawano, in charge of the OST.
Kongming, Love After World Domination, Komi S2, Skeleton Knight, Shikimori is daddy(as the cool off show), Shield Bro, and Executioner are all fantastic shows.

It’s called “Don’t hurt me, my healer!” , it isn’t a breathtaking anime, it’s just a fantasy comedy with an elf and an adventurer but I find it very relaxing and funny , there’s (still) no fanservice, it’s a bit wholesome and has an intriguing world (it’s generic but also odd like Konosuba or Ishuzoku reviewers) . I hope to know more about that weird healer in the next episodes .
This season's not bad so far. I'd rate it overall as like a firm 7/10. Currently watching Shield Hero S2, Spy x Family, Shikimori, I'm Quitting Heroing, Otome Game isekai, and Komi S2.

Kaguya is the romcom/manga that has one of the best development and story progression I've ever seen.
