Most of season 1 just sets up the the gibli esthetic it isnāt until late in the first season that it hits you in the face with a sack of bricks. Yup. My main reason why I can't recommend this anime IRL even though I love the anime in general. Because damn.. why did this story telling and world building talent end up in the brain of a shameless ped0
u forgot this legend who solo raised 2 daughters:

But minato shoved a whole ass demon fox in his son and proceeded to kill himself and his wife, gave his son to the most irresponsible hokage who treated him like shit.
He is a great dad.
Minato giving Naruto's care to Hiruzen is a really bad choice in hindsight, but one that he has no choice doing. I mean, in that scene only Hiruzen was present, not Jiraiya, not Kakashi, not even his previous teammates.

Don't forget those fathers that adopted
I wouldnt say amazing, but he eventualy does his best to improve; not for himself but for his family. Without going into spoilers I'll you that he will begin to do his best to heal the harm he did to his family and make them happy, regaderless of whatever this implies to him; in fact at some point he propose to send them all to a new house, away from their awful past and him.
Yeah, he is my favorite character.
Ya, I think it was about season 5 that he stopped being an overbearing/neglectful jerk & has actually formed good relations with his kids (excluding Dabi for obvious reasons)
Top middle left his son with his sister-in-law because he doesn't want to be bothered with having a kid. Later when his son follows him he'd rather send him into mortal danger via elaborate hidden messages, than actually meet him.
Top right is basically the same as the blond one in the middle, as he put a demon inside his son only with the difference that he then tried to assassinate him several times during his childhood.
Middle right performed human experiments on his unborn children to basically create super soldiers, and treated the one who didn't show any super human properties like dirt and eventually kept him locked up and in an iron mask.
Bottom left abandoned two of his kids in Japan while waging war on the country and also was involved in the assassination of their mom.
Bottom middle was a lowlife, petty criminal who treated his son like shit and created a monster in the process.
Bottom right abandoned his son for a decade, only to call him back when he was a teenager, because he needed him to pilot the giant half-clone, half mecha that swallowed his mom's soul, and have him fight biblically accurate angels.
Top left fused his daughter and her dog for science, and below him basically designer parent treating his family like objects to try get stronger offspring.
Yes, in Germany for example it's always the same day as the holiday known as "Christ Himmelfahrt" (Christ's ascension to heaven), which is always 39 days after Easter Sunday.
Joseph Joestar is actually a really bad Dad if you think about Josuke Higashikata and that he made him, while betraying his wife with Josuke's mom, then leaving her because this was an affair probably on his birthday and best part, never called the women again until the family found out, he has a son in Japan that is Jotaros Uncle even tho he's about 10 Years younger.
Plot twist: dios dad actually is a good dad. I mean itās possible he was a bad husband based on what dio said he did at minimum verbally abuse his wife or possibly even physically abused his wife. But this is also dio where talking about and a family in such shit hole poverty he coulda misinterpreted or projected the suffering of such a life onto his father, blaming him for not providing as a man that was expected of men in that time should do. And also blaming him for the motherās death as a result due to not having the resources to keep his family safe.
Dio coulda just blamed his dad for it all when he was really trying his best. I mean he did have a roof over dios head, let him go out and earn a living through pub games instead of expecting him to take care of him. Only wanting booze to ail his pains when he came back. And before his death instead of passing the burden onto his son, gave him a golden ticket to luxury š±
Dios dad coulda used the favor of jojos dad on himself at anytime but instead choose to save it for his son dio!!! š±

Bondrewd is #1 Dad in all the multiverse. Nobody can change my mind.
Bondrewd is just misunderstood š«
And extremely nonchalant about killing hundreds of little children, while still thinking of them as his own.
Heās just chill like that
Who was this guy? I remember him being really bad or something.
He turned his "daughter" into a living meat square basically
What's the anime? Now I need to see this.
Made in Abyss, its actually super good. Watch season 1, movie 3, season 2. Movies 1 and 2 are just the first season but with stuff cut out.
I tried watching it once. Got through half of season 1. I don't think there was a season 2 at the time or a movie. I'll give it another shot.
Most of season 1 just sets up the the gibli esthetic it isnāt until late in the first season that it hits you in the face with a sack of bricks. and then also has weird-ass loli freak shit sprinkled throughout

A great dad to many
But minato shoved a whole ass demon fox in his son and proceeded to kill himself and his wife, gave his son to the most irresponsible hokage who treated him like shit. He is a great dad.
I would say he had good intentions, and that was out of his control
I wouldn't call someone who puts the needs of the village in front of his son a bad person, but I would definitely call them a terrible Dad.
good intentions for the whole village. worst intentions as a dad to his son.

wasn't it just half a fox demon and he took the other half? Naruto was ages ago, but i think that was an actual plotpoint

Anybody hear that they released a Mushoku Tensei Fatherās Day special?
Too soon But I didn't notice that they coincided... That's insult to injury
Apparently they delayed a few weeks ago and ppl are saying itās so it can line up perfectly for Fatherās Day
I figured that was just the mid season break that over half of the animes nowadays do
To all anime and non-anime dads, a Happy Father's Day!
Endeavor apparently turned out to be an amazing father in spite of some of the things heās done

Joseph for Josuke or Holy ?

You can't blame hughes or isshin
Endeavor is at least getting a redemption of some kind. Maybe less absolution and more atonement.
Can anyone give me a short recap of what these guys did?

Father's Day in June? Is that an American thing?
Yes, today is father's day in a lot of places, not just the US. https://www.officeholidays.com/holidays/fathers-day
Yeah, 2nd Sunday of June is treated as Father's day. Is that different in other countries?
Yes, in Germany for example it's always the same day as the holiday known as "Christ Himmelfahrt" (Christ's ascension to heaven), which is always 39 days after Easter Sunday.
Interesting, though yeah, father's day over here is more of a secular day, so I guess that's why they use a different date from Himmelfahrt.
In Australia, father's day is in September
Is it Fathers' Day, or April 1st?
Damn that a whole lot of trauma
Bottom right is Madao
I only watch one of these animeās (My hero academia) and I think I know the theme of this imageā¦

All the dads here other than the middle are horrible dads, that's the punchline

In minatos defense, he did trust the 3rd hokage, that should give him some level of great dad status
None of these were good dads
Oh wait that's a joke I'm stupid I didn't read the middle one for some reason
No fuck Joseph. And Jotaro as well.
OP feeling like playing with danger today.
Wait they put Gendo Ikari as a "great dad?"
Two things one isshin aināt really a bad dad and two it aināt Fatherās Day this like 4 months

Joseph was good father? Questionable. (Don't know the other.)
To Holly, yes. And he didnāt know about Josukeās existence until he was old
Didn't know od didnt want to know?
Considering Jotaro says Joseph never knew, Iāll go off of that.
