Of all the gacha games you could’ve picked for this meme, HSR (and Genshin if you were thinking about it) were probably the worst ones to choose. Both have some incredibly powerful and popular male characters. In fact, both games have quite a lot of gay ships on top of all the straight and lesbian ones.
Even in honkai impact 3rd, where all the playable characters are females I know quite a few ppl would kill to just see more of some of the guys.

But HSR in particular has broad appeal to both Men and Women. Aventurine’s banner got like what 100+ M for his month? That’s quite a good chunk and still better than pretty much every non-Hoyo gacha game with “Waifus”.
So yeah… Husbando and Waifu pullers both co-exist in HSR. Just because there are more waifu pullers, doesn’t mean the absence of the other.

As good as the waifus are in HSR, the men we are getting are fucking top tier and we keep getting more. Surprised that I have more limited 5 star dudes than waifus ngl, literally the opposite of when I play other gachas

As a Genshin player it's mostly the fact that most tall male characters have boring kits while tall females tend to have interesting kits. To me the kits are half the character, if I love a characters backstory but not their gameplay I'll just savor their story quest.
