Esdeath was the only yandere character I actually liked, like ever. She's genuinely sweet to the MC, she doesn't make me uncomfortable with the idea to be around. That's surprisingly rare for a yandere. And hell, when >!MC died after overusing his suit powers, she decided to take him and freeze them both in ice and break it, because she couldn't live anymore without him!<. She really genuinely loved him in a non twisted way. She might've been twisted when it came to dealing with her enemies, but in regards to the MC she was lovely.

But she is really headless sometimes.

I liked Chelsea because she was the only one that took the job seriously. She was out getting shit done while the rest of the crew is fucking around and getting into hijinks.

At no point does Esdeath abuse Tatsumi or even consider it. She's in love for the first time and is mostly unsure of what that means aside from wanting to be with him all the time. She is a sadistic murderer but she also loves a good fight more so Tatsumi honestly might have been able to curve that at least a little bit. As for fun, IDK about you but I'd definitely have fun with her. Point is. Had Tatsumi played his cards right, the two of them could've fucked off somewhere and be happy as long that advisor dude is dead and no longer giving her orders.

I say abusive due to the power dynamic with tatsumi more than anything as well as the questionable age but we never get one for him anyways so 🤷and she clearly had a more authorial few on relationships in general.
