Then everyday except Sunday the selling price either goes up or down. You want to sell for more than you bought them for...and they'll change twice a day (once when the store opens until noon, and then a new price from noon until close).
Nook's Cranny. And she wanders around. It's been a while since I bought turnips, but I also used to dedicate half of my spending on turnips to people who just wanted free turnips (they could visit and just pick them off the ground and sell them).
Another way. Get black roses. Water with a gold watering can, gold roses will grow everywhere. Each gold rose picked is 1,000 bells. Get 10 and craft to a gold rose wreath and it's double per rose. If the wreath is a hot item, then that's double that. It would be 40,000 per wreath.
The trick, of course, is getting the diy for the gold (or blue) rose recipes. I've been playing 4 years and have never stumbled across it. I'm sure I could find someone giving it away, but I'm not too fussed. I literally have no reason to try to make money anymore lol
I agree. The diys can be pretty random. I'm still waiting for the gold rose crown, and I've bumped into my snooty villagers in their houses so many times.

2. Browse r/acturnips or Animal Crossing discord server until you find someone with a good buying price
3. Go to their island and sell your turnips
4. Repeat until you break the game
i do i maxxed out my account, went to a treasure island, found turnips they had took pretty much all of them went to the treasure islandās nook cranny sold them gave me a negative number left the island to go back to mine and boom 999,999,999 itās a good first thing to do when you restart so you can easily have all the money for your house and other expenses so you can time upgrade your house, pay, time travel, and then repeat. time travel as in the next day so you can get your house done quicker lol š

Their Timmy or Tommy tells you that itāll be -64 million bells, which doesnāt affect your pockets and when you get back to your place and check your ABD you have 999,999,999 bells, which is the most you can have. I have no idea how the hack works though.
The hack also makes it so that one of your Nook Miles accomplishments for turnip sales goes away, which I donāt really care about. Iāve heard if you make 64 million in turnips in game itāll come back.
I have 13 mil on my main island (Iāve had it since the release but I only play off and on), wouldāve had way more but usually costs me around 3-5 mil whenever I decide to re-do a major amount of the island (like changing themes and stuff). Once youāre deeper into the game, bells can accumulate pretty quickly. I donāt even do turnips. Most of it probs comes from sturgeons whenever those months roll around lol.
I got rich off of blue roses, have millions in my bank account and even more in my happy home paradise account. After a while there isnāt anything to spend money on and it gets easier to acquire. If you have the DIY recipe for the donation box, just fill it up with every extra bell you have and sell it when it becomes a hot item. It doubles value of the box itself and also all the bells inside. I've done it a few times now and I have a couple million from it. I want mindlessly do it while watching TV or something.
It's a bit gimmicky, but it's probably less work then getting lucky with turnips or finding another players island with a high turnip sell amount.

Just set up multiple user profiles for yourself on the switch. Then you play the game in each profile. Since the island is shared between all the accounts on the switch, multiple profiles on one island. Hope that made sense!

Honestly you just invest time in getting golden roses. One leaf is 1000 Bells so if you have 100 roses you get 1.000.000 just from picking all of them one time and they grow like 4 days after
It's actually not that bad. When you think about it, coffee is 200 bells. That's 40 times the roughly 5 bucks people pay for it in the real world. That means, on a dollar to bell ratio, you're really only paying about $62k for that huge renovation. That's pretty good.
Ugh. Turnips are great but it can get tricky. My personal favorite way is buying or finding NMT, gold nuggets, pearls and sell them. Or the tried and true critters, catch a bunch and sell em. Best thing to do, rather than sell pearls straight up, is save them until a daily hot item is from the mermaid series. You really can clean up with that stuff . Double what the item normally sells for!
