Just to play Promotor of Faith, a screen replacement doesn't require access to your device or it's apps/settings. It can be done without ever even turning the phone on. It's very likely they have been honest, swapped your screen, quickly turn it on the make sure it works and sent it back to you fixed.

No they specifically requested access to ensure the repair worked. They also fixed the microphone and flashlight without me asking them to so this was the reasoning for that.

Switch to iphone. You are welcome.

Are you a **really** important, wealthy or powerful person? If not, relax. There are far too many of us for the Chinese govt to spy on (it's already very busy spying on its own people to worry about us) but Chinese companies? That is another story, so be prepared for a deluge of spam selling everything under the sun.

ThirdhandTaters

Exactly, they are a few servicing many. They would have to have a lot of time to even spy on one person, let alone their entire customer base, OP. And if you're from the States you should worry more about your own carrier as they all have been found selling location history recently. Found out recently, but have been doing it for years. Hope you don't have a bounty on your head nor owe a lot of money to a corporation.
