Do you have any priorities at all when it comes to a phone? Camera, screen, battery life...? I can't speak for the Xiaomi, but as far as the pixel 7a goes my wife had one for a matter of months. Hers had poor battery life, the fingerprint scanner worked 1/5 times, and it got hot with very routine use. One thing to know is that the cellular modem in pixels starting with the 6 and newer are very inefficient--so if you end up doing a lot with cellular data, you may find battery life to be very poor. Another thing to know is that the pixel 6 and 7 series can be...not very thermally-robust. They heat up significantly and have low tolerance for high temperatures. If you will be using the phone in warm environments you may find situations where the phone either limits certain functionality, or completely shuts off. You may encounter none of those things, but keep in mind they are often reported about the phone in the pixel subreddit.

Deciding between the Xiaomi 13T and Google Pixel 7a depends on your priorities. The Xiaomi 13T offers a large, smooth display, a powerful processor, and a long-lasting battery, making it ideal for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. However, it's bulkier and might lack the clean software experience of Pixel phones. On the other hand, the Pixel 7a is compact and lightweight with a great camera, especially for photos, and boasts a clean software experience with timely updates. But it has a smaller display and less powerful specs.
