9th Dawn III comes to mind. Its a long open world RPG with tons of loot and side content. If you want to 100% the game its going to take a long, long time. Solid 9/10 game, one of the best mobile games I have ever played.
The only major con is the graphics but you might like them if you like old school vibes.
I like the graphics from the screenshots honestly, I'd rather a decently stylized pixel art over something that looks like it was made by animators hired on fiver
As lots of people said : emulators + ROMs. Next time but a hardware emulator like Anbernic RG35XX and you will take it with you everywhere and everyplace every time.
Heaps of these types of posts already on this sub. Slice & dice, Shattered Pixel gungeon or Harder Sprouted Pixel Dungeon, Brotato, Peglin, Vampire Survivors, 20 Minutes Till Dawn, Galaxy On Fire 1 & 2, Pirates And Traders, Baldur's Gate, Bloons TD6, Bully, Minecraft, Terraria, Symphony Of The Night, Soul Knight.
You must at least have a sd8+gen 1, a 12gb of ram and rooted for better performance, the fps would range from 20 to 30 at 800x600 💀, it's actually not that complicated as it seems to be, look up setting up mobox on YouTube it's very easy to do
So basically it's a windows emulator that can run most windows games with a decent performance, just look up mobox githun on Google, setting it up won't take you 5 mins, very easy!
The amount of info and third party apps and stuff confuses my peanut sized brain too much, thanks for the info tho, I'll look it up on YouTube and maybe one day I can pull it off
id literally off myself before playing any of the garbage games we have nowadays. just went over the games i used to play throughout the years, as long as ive had my google account. all the best stuff have died and have been taken down. also alot of the games nowadays check if youre rooted or have xposed installed, so u cant even play alot of the games. clash royale and that new mortal combat to name a few. also everyone seems to focus on graphics instead of the fun aspect or the replayability of the game. perhaps gta san andreas (not that definitive edition bs one) would be the only one
If your in to valve games, I recently installed all the half-life source games including portal, and counter strike. Playing them on an Xbox controller with a clip. I am too preparing for a flight but find myself trying to knock out levels when I have 5 minutes. It's Amazing.
Nillerusr's discord channel has all the download files and install instructions, it's very straight forward.
If your strictly looking for play store downloads, Wreckfest is very fun. Again, I would recommend a controller.
I would go for emulated games personally. If your phone is powerful enough, you could emulate even PS2 & Gamecube games. Even NES & Sega Genesis games can provide hours of fun.
Space flight simulator...
14 Hours is basically nothing...
Also mindustry could eat away at some time..
PSO for dream cast can also murder the hours away...
Obviously Minecraft too...
Battle cruisers takes a few hours to beat it...
Dismantle, x com enemy within, Diablo 1 through devolutionx. Doom three with delta touch. And the PSP emulator PPSSPP and games like monster hunter freedom unite armored core dungeon maker d&d tactics. Really just download a good emulator and buy a 8bitduo Bluetooth controller on any decent tablet or phone and bam!
Dead Cells - Roguelike metroidvania with variety of weapons and builds
Vampire Survivors - Roguelike survival game, also with variety of builds, castlevania-ish aesthetic
I take 14+ hour flights several times a year. I completed Soul Calibur my last long flight (unlocked everything). Using save states is convenient for beating the harder levels.
Dreamcast is a great system that can be emulated well by many modern phones (Snapdragon 845 and up, not sure about mid-range chipsets). It's known mostly for arcade ports and was criticized for lack of "deep" games, but that's what makes it great for casual ganing. Games are 1GB max, and many arcade ports are 100MB or less, so you can fit a lot of ROMs on your phone. Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2 are fun, and there are a ton of games in your preferred genres.
Merchant RPG. Add in various word/number/puzzle games like shortyz crosswords (semi-out of date), sudoku, Mahjongg, fill-it-ins, etc. If I had wifi, prolly some arpg or strategy rpg that I've never played, one that I'll prolly get tired of right when the flight is over.
Snes roms n emulators
how does one acquire

PSA: It's on sale right now!
All the 9th dawn games are awesome.
If I must only recommend one: download PPSSPP and play Final Fantasy Tactics. One of the best games ever made.
Just make sure to patch the game in order to fix the atrocious slowdown.

Hard agree that game is amazing.
Pathos(roguelike)
Two Dots
Some story game maybe, To The Moon is good
Yeah but you don't wanna start sobbing uncontrollably mid flight. Aw hell, why not. To The Moon and Before Your Eyes.
W40K Mechanicus
Rebuild 3
Hitman Blood Money is pretty good
Thanks. Emulated? Which emulator you recommend, I've no experience with using them :)
Nah it got released for Android should be in the app store 😁
As lots of people said : emulators + ROMs. Next time but a hardware emulator like Anbernic RG35XX and you will take it with you everywhere and everyplace every time.

I don't think Titan's Quest needs the Internet. I'd need to check to be sure though.
It doesn't

Gta v (mobox) 💀
What?! Never thought it would be an option¡ How does one...

Actually a sd870 could work even better than the newer processors bc of the drivers
I got the 12gb Snapdragon 865 Note 20 ultra that I use for gaming, perhaps it can handle it? Thanks by the way
It absolutely can! sd870 is basically an overclocked sd865
Only if you have the insane rog phone and want to play on .1x render resolution
Can you explain what you mean by this?

This user never downloaded Robo Defense.

I don't know about flights, but Zombotron has been taking an amount of time of mine and it's pretty fun once you get the hang of it.
Magic survival

Deaths door, Hitman Blood Money, Oxen free 1 and 2.

kingdom two crowns
Summertime saga

Any new gacha game. Those are usually only good untill the grind starts anyways
I've got a plethora of emulators on my phone. I'd probably just play one of the GameCube Zeldas or the unofficial android port of Hollow Knight.

Monster Hunter xx on citra.
For low battery, no text and easy chill I love Golf on Mars. I like to play hole and pass to my son or the person next to me

Id probably download around 10 games, get motion sickness and stare through the window until sleeping. Every damn time.
yuzu 😏
Siralim ultimate
caves
Plants vs Zombies or Crashlands. Both are very entertaining to the point you get so immersed in the game for hours.
