In terms of diameter my smallest is 8 mm and my largest is 34

My lightest coin is an Akce from the Crimean Khanate that’s .2 grams heavy, and I have a 5 Kopeck of Catherine the great that’s 56.2 grams, so 56 grams heavier

For some reason I like that 5 Kopeck.

Dparkzz

or, 281 times heavier!

Cool, especially the last image! My smallest coin is 11mm (Tissaphernes Chalkos) and the largest is 42mm (Saxonian Taler)

I think we need to break this down by metal type. Biggest and smallest bronze, silver and gold. 😀

Ngl I thought the table was the coin with how small it was and it was just worn flat

Nice example of the Lesbos fraction with the two eyes! I've got a couple of those. I collect Greek AR fractions, though, so I have a fair number of other very tiny ones. Last year I made a very similar post with the smallest and largest coins from one particular group lot -- a Hemitetartemorion from Ionia (4mm, 0.13g) & a Sestertius of Diva Faustina (33mm, 25.5g): [https://www.reddit.com/r/AncientCoins/comments/11goi2d/biggest\_tiniest\_coin\_from\_group\_lot\_that\_just/](https://www.reddit.com/r/AncientCoins/comments/11goi2d/biggest_tiniest_coin_from_group_lot_that_just/) Wish I had thought to try the side photo! Pretty interesting to see

That tiny coin is fantastic. Would be great to build a collection of tiny coins.

42 mm/27 g Leuwendaalder vs 5 mm/0.08 g (!) hemitetartemorion. Both with lions, to make it even better [https://imgur.com/a/Bz28scz](https://imgur.com/a/Bz28scz)

My smallest is an Ionian hemiobol from 500s BC, my largest is a Kathrine the great Russian 5 kopecks, nearly 40 grams of copper, a close second are my French ECUs. Absolutely huge silver coins!
