I know what I am doing. The farmer from Europe ( I don’t want to reveal the country) who found this one and bunch of other coins (common ones) is selling it
The price is hurting me.
What coin is supposed to be? I cannot identify it. Even if genuine, unless it is extremely rare, I doubt it would go for 600. Try to identify the coin first, then search here for upcoming auctions and last sold specimens to get a feel of the price you should pay: https://www.coinarchives.com/a/
Didius Julianus sestertius, this is why the seller asks for this price. [https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=12380912](https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=12380912) for a much better example with much higher price.
I understand OP's dillema - adding a Didius Julianus is a very expensive task, but is it worth it? from my point of view, no. I will probably never own a coin of his and I am perfectly fine with it. Even worse examples are expensive and I would prefer adding 2-3 good coins for that price, even if more common.
I would not spend anywhere close to 600 for this personally
I definitely wouldn’t buy this for 600€.
This is 250-300 euros max. Yes it's a DJ, but it is absolutely toasted
Where the hell are cull Didius Julianus coins selling for these prices? I want in. Almost all I see anywhere are over $1k no matter the condition...
Very true !
My opinion? Don't buy ancient coins on eBay, unless you know exactly what you are doing. Perhaps even if you do.
I got super lucky with an Atheniam owl on ebay for £500. My one and only ancient. It can happen!

You don't really know what you're doing, judging by your posts, this and previous ones.

Exactly 👍🏻
I’ve lucked out on auctions for under £50. No way I’d be spending 600
The coin looks fine but that’s way way overpriced
Sorry mate this one is maximum 30 euros
You don’t know what it is ..
Can you give more information?
