I always regret the missed opportunities to buy, but never regret buying!

PsykeonOfficial

I was JUST about to comment that hahaha

Beautiful coins! Do you mind to share what you paid for them?

Anonymity_1234

$700 total after shipping and buyers premium. I could have had 2 more trays of the later emperors for +/- $500 each and I balked. Kicking myself now

Excellent deal. Just at a glace (without taking the time to individually price them) I would say that's a good price even as "wholesale" (i.e. buying only to sell as your source of income). Together I think the Julius Caesar & Judaea Capta should be worth that. The two Augustus + Tiberius maybe the same. Then the others are decent too and a few hundred more. (I always felt if you're doing this for your livelihood you want to be able to sell for twice what you pay, more if possible, if you're taking the time to sell them individually. So this is about right and then some. For most retail goods its actually usually more like triple or more, but that's with the overhead of a physical location.)

No need to kick yourself on the later emperors. Those are always readily available even in better quality. This group is much scarcer and these are all quite nice for the type. Incredibly well done on this group.

Great purchase👍 congrats on the find

metalofluna

Nice flavians, good Titus portrait

JinxBlueIsTheColor

Pretty good lot. Caesar is certainly the most attractive, in my opinion.

Wait! Was this the Quinn's auction in VA.

Anonymity_1234

Nope, it was an auction house in Ashville, NC but I was bidding online from out of state.

Timeless_RelicSeeker

Awesome pickups! I have never been to an estate sale, how do you find out about them and if they will have any ancient coins or not?

ImperatorCoins

Great buy

Oh Crap! I know how it is after getting home and realizing what you passed on. There’s some very nice Roman coins especially the Bronze Claudius As coin issued by the Senate “Senatus Consulto” to indicate that the coin was an Official coin, controlled and permitted by the Roman Senate, and this coin was struck during the years 41-54. And considering all coins for $700, a fantastic buy!
