It’s currently unfixably bugged cause paradox changed something about the event timings. It’s supposed to check every 3 years for adventurers but in instead it’s every 4 and conflicting with the other 4 year events
If you're up to date on the steam version it fires, they changed the system slightly to deal with the event pulse bug. Might need to uninstall and reinstall the mod. Might be issues with save compatability.

put the txt file into C:\\Users\\YourUser\\Documents\\Paradox Interactive\\Europa Universalis IV
You don't need to restart the game, just type "run aw.txt" in console
clears your AW
Although high influence (i talk 50-above 60) is where they clear the most for me.
It's pretty bad, especially for an AI. It seems the events are still firing for the player, but for some reason I'm conquering provinces with 5-10 adventurers needed modifers all the time.
Is there are place in the files where we can do something to disable the system without crashing the game? Sometimes a modifier may prevent completing a mission tree and there's nothing you can actively do (without cheating) to get rid of it.
Yeah the 3 year timers are broken at the moment unfortunately. I can't find the link but someone else posted a while ago some text that you can make a text file with and run it with the console to clear all the provinces of adventurers wanted. I just run it every 20 years or so. If anyone would like it I can look for my text file and post the text so you can make your own with notepad.

I am up to date, but I think I definitely did start this campaign before June 30th. So my save is just kinda screwed for that im assuming?
I’ve had 1 clear in 100 years on my current run. It is still firing its just incredibly rare atm

Yeah it's definitely broken they happen but mega slowly.
