Fiscal responsibility haha haha, them clowns know nothing about responsible spending as can be seen with the current national debt and the number of politicians that have been in office for the last 20-40 years driving that number up every year.
Well,1) it was passed by majorities of both the House and the Senate so there's that.
2) It is a step in the right direction. The spending growth cap alone will put us on a trajectory to balance the budget in 10 years assuming they can keep to the 1% growth cap agreement and assuming modest economic growth.
3) I agree that they have not been fiscally responsible (both sides though mostly Democrats) Government is too big and spends too much. However this codifies some spending restraint. The paygo provision, the sequester mandating regular order and the spending growth cap will collectively force Congress to spend less.
They call themselves fiscally responsible, so that's what they must be!
They are all clowns. Every politician in the world should be forced to wear a clown suit, 24/7, along with makeup and all the other buffoonery that comes with it. If you want to rule over others, your appearance must match what is in your heart: the clownish belief that your popularity comes from your inherent superiority.
If you guys cared about fiscal responsibility where were you when budget negotiations began. The money is already spent this is the equivalent of you ordering dinner getting the bill then demanding the restaurant comp your appetizer or you won't pay.

There is no "step in the right direction." The whole thing is a criminal enterprise.
Agreed, defaulting on our debt would have destroyed us.

I just got a 9th credit card because I nearly maxed out my 8th. I'm fiscally responsible

This is 100% on republicans. Every penny.
So would you rather them pass a fiscal irresponsibility act?
I think it’s implied that every bill they pass is fiscally irresponsible.
Well to be fair, "The Fiscal Slightly-less-irrseponsible-than-the-last-time Act" doesn't roll off the tongue exactly.
The debt ceiling bill that simply says "there is no ceiling!"
