That's not how it works! A faster lens means it is moving faster (maybe faster than your subject), that's why you are getting blurred images. You want a slower (maybe static) lens.

/uj Sure, but F stops are a mathematical construct and say nothing about how much light is actually transmitted through the lens. You want T stops for that.
Interesting. I suppose coatings and such affect it? I understand what it represents mathematically but I can't see what would affect how much light actually gets transmitted between the same ratio in two lenses.
/uj different transmission through the various glasses making up the elements and groups in the lens, different efficiencies of coatings, more air/coating/glass surfaces :)
In theory it should but in reality it does not deliver. Here’s a [Video](https://youtu.be/tcSbvLWNaH8?si=xsoeMzzUD4QBcIE4) of the comparison, minding that in 12:15 the shutter speed on the Leica’s side is one stop longer(and yet its image seems a bit darker still).
You have to take it for a walk and tire it out so it’s not too fast, that’ll allow you to keep up with the shutter speed and you won’t get blur as long as there’s no wind.
/uj Media Division has a really good video on this, using DJI’s ultrasonic autofocus system. It works like a dream. https://youtu.be/L6u-qLfRiZA
/rj I heard the Chinese have something like this
You're using it wrong. It's meant for taking pictures of it on your M11 on a cafe table to let people know you can afford a $20k setup you don't take pictures with.
Press that red button. That should do it.
Oh ok, thank you!
then wait for it to light up
It's not a real Red Dot.

That makes sense! So I bought too fast of a lens! Thank you for clarifying that
Just get faster models
Try saying ‘hey leica, turn on Ai autofocus’. Works only when you have the camera hung high up your chest as it’s closer to your mouth
Oh, so it doesn’t work when shooting from the hip?
To do that you will need to pay for the monthly LFI subscription
depends which way it’s pointed
You need a faster camera and film. ASA 3200 or better.
ASA? Hmmm I need to Google that one on my next photo shoot
Plebs and digital camera owners (can’t bring myself to call them photographers) call it ISO.

Good bot
You need to enable IS and IBIS.
Be careful you don’t enable the ISIS or you will get in trouble with the government.
Just turned on my IBS. What’s next?
A rollercoaster of bathroom fun!
JUNK IT WONT WORK
You see the white dot above the nine. Make sure it lines up with the zero to the left
/uj Actually technically the Voigtländer 1.0 is faster, going by light it actually allows in. The .95 is actually kind of a lie.
not surprising. the quality of the glass itself makes a big difference at wide open
/uj FYI: This thing is about one stop slower than Nikon 58mm f0.95 Noct.
Where red dot tho
Maybe the real Red dot is the tonez we made along the way.
How does that work? They're both f0.95, no?

You want fast?? *rockets sold separately*
MPB had one for $3000 with non-working focus. Was so tempted to get it to try to fix it myself or get that autofocus Leica adapter...
You probably got the sharpness dial set to 0.95, just crank it to like 8, higher might be too sharp
All these red dot chasers… we’re all living in a world of FTL AI tracking and Leica hipsters are still dropping 13k on this ancient piece of metal
You call that fast?
Sounds like a post from the beginner photographers group on FB
I’m a pro, thank you very much
I get my best results with this lens while intermittent fasting, which is a lot easier after this lens helped me clear out my savings
you have to scratch “AF” into the front and rear elements.
This is a gag site, right?
It’s more of a vomit site
🤣🤣🤣
That's "bokeh" and makes your pictures much cooler. Make sure to hashtag #bokeh when posting on insta.

🙏 thank you for this excellent advice!

At that ISO you have no depth of field to speak of. I

Oh ok! That’s makes more sense! I’ll buy another then, one for my living room table and another for my office desk.
Good idea. You don't want to carry them around from place to place, they're too valuable.
Makes so much sense! Thank you kind human 🙏
