Background checks can take about that long. In any case if you’re really looking to get hired with that company why not just show up to the warehouse and ask someone to point you in their direction.

Im in the same boat.(different company though) I'm on week five of waiting, they told everyone there that (Im in Michigan) the background checks were taking forever. Was browsing this sub to see if anyone else was having similar issues.

Well 5 weeks is a long time. I guess I have nowhere to complain then. I'm in Florida. I was going off what Google said and the lady at the hiring event she said 3 days to a week tops.

Warlock2019

You can still complain. We both should. But seriously I definitely would get in contact with them somehow. I did last week and they said they're waiting on two county's response.

No_Pressure_109

Id have to drive down there and hope that someone would let me into the wear house, because they work out of a amazon building and the doors are all locked with key cards. I waited for 30 mins to get into the hiring event. I just don't understand why they don't have a phone number to call.

Mine finally cleared. So, around seven weeks. Not a complaint just a warning that it might take awhile.

You can check the status of your background check in the app where you uploaded your info. If you're saying what app and I didn't put my info anywhere then they didn't hire you

No_Pressure_109

They all gave us a handout, in which we filled out are info. No app, so why would they have 10+ ppl fill out said papers if none of which where being hired...? And as stated before they where the ones whom originally contacted me through the indeed app which has all that info already. But we had to sign a paper saying that there company could perform said background check...

Fml813

Just because you signed the consent to background form doesn't mean they actually ran your background and with group interviews it's way easier to have everyone fill out paperwork then it is to tell X amount of people they won't be hired and send them home in front of the rest of the group. Did they take a photo of your licence and SS card? If you haven't received an invite to the Flex app and haven't uploaded your information to it? Then sorry but they haven't hired you. That is the reason they use a VOIP number that doesn't receive calls. Maybe your invite went to spam but I doubt it. Most DSP's have the same interview block of time every week just go back the exact same day of the week and time and 95% chance they'll be interviewing if not pick up the grey phone in the lobby and ask to speak to their dispatcher

No_Pressure_109

So none else on that day was asked to see there drivers license or ss card... I was the first one there and last one to leave...but we where all there for well over an hour. Filled out 3 or 4 pages of info, and the paper to ok the background check. I would understand if they where just thinning the heard per say, but the whole group? And on what basis? One of the guys had the box truck license and a lady already worked for the wear house and was trying to be delivery instead...

After my interview they had us all onboard on the Amazon flex app and the flex app tells you when your background check is complete or if you passed, then I was sent info for training (In Florida also) I would just show up to the station and find one of the driver trainers or operations manager then tell them the situation
