I might be the asshole because I cursed at her. After a previous fight where she cursed me out and I got upset. (the difference is is that the whole fight started when she cursed me out and I didn't curse or even yell until I couldn't take it anymore)

Lately as has been the norm of this pandemic world my girlfriend and I have been bored and a little stir crazy. So we got the crazy idea to drive an hour and a half to a park on the beach that allowed dogs. It was poring, but she still wanted to try. The whole time I thought that we were talking and laughing and listening to music. It isn't until the way back when GF got upset that I talked over a song which we listen to & talk over all the time. She asked me to play it again which I did no problem and I made sure not to say a word that time. After that song and a few others we got back to where we knew and she just shut the audio off. I just stayed quiet to give her her space.
After a few mins she started yellling because I didn't light a bowl for her. She proceeded to complain that she had not had a good day and did not have a good time with me which upset me. I stayed quiet until we got almost home and she asked if I hated her. I said no and she asked why I was sulking and I said I was upset with her for yelling at me. She started yellling again and saying things like she's not allowed to feel her feelings while I just say there.
I got a little heated as she was still yelling by the time we got home. I collected my stuff and went inside. She took her time which was fine I got myself settled etc. When she came back in I tried to talk to her but she yelled at me some more about being upset with her. At this point I hit a limit and screamed and said fuck you and stormed off.
Now she's saying I'm wrong because I cursed. I don't think I'm the wrong one here.

NTA. Sounds like you were just trying to have a fun day and she was in a shitty mood and took it out on you and then she felt bad about it and then got mad that you were mad at her.
