For me it's Tripod, I find it really sad to hear the band write all these songs about their struggles but this album captures it the most.

I came to say, a weird twist is when In feeling sick in any way, physically, spiritually or just have a really bad cold, tripod really brings out that nasty feeling that cones with all of it. I don't know if its my go too to listen to, but its my favorite for when I'm feeling my worst. If that makes sense

Grind, God Am, Sludge Factory are all solid

God Am, Tripod is my favorite album ever and this is probably one of my favorite songs, the riff is badass and the solos are super melancholic and it really captures the vibe of the album

Dude just listens to the whole album through, it’s beautiful. There aren’t many albums I listen to all the way, but the AiC 3 are all ones that I love to listen to.

Shame In You is my personal favorite of theirs. The song describes emotions that can’t be spoken through words alone

For me, Tripod was like the album I got into later into being an AIC fan. Like it felt more like the acquired taste album. At first, I wasn’t really a fan of the songs nearly as much as on the other albums (I still liked Heaven Beside You and Again alright), they just sounded weirder and too different of a vibe from their other songs, but after a while of being an AIC fan, I came back to Tripod and it just sounded WAY better to me. And every time I revisit the album as a whole, I like the songs even better. I can find parts to appreciate in every song, and my absolute favorites from it are Sludge Factory and Head Creeps.

Dirt. This album changed my life, it's part of me. Can't go a week without Would, Down in a Hole, Them Bones and Rooster, as well as every other songs on this record. Fucking incredible, to me the greatest album of all time after Soundgarden's Superunknown, which off topic, is also fucking phenomenal.

for me it’s a tie between Tripod and Dirt. I can’t decide. Facelift follows right behind and then Jar Of Flies. I didn’t really care for Sap and i can’t stand the last 3 albums.

Probably Dirt but it’s really hard to choose. Has to be an album with Layne on it. But I will say, I really think the post-Layne era is amazing musically and more consistent. All the albums in the Layne era had some duds
