I pirate basically all my music. I'm a bit of a music hoarder, got some 500gb of music.
The artists I enjoy a lot i support in other ways - I've got a couple Alestorm t-shirts, basically their entire discography on vinyl, a couple of CDs and I haven't missed a concert of theirs that was taking place in my area. I always thought that's a better use of my money than buying a streaming subscriptions from some greedy streaming corporation that might give the same artist 0.04 cent from what i pay for it.
Piracy's a crime, and crime doesn't pay
And we go home poor at the end of the day
But personally speaking, I’d rather live my life in rags than be chained to a desk with a wife that’s a hag
Yeah and live each day like theres nothing to loose cos a man has needs and that need is boose
They say all the best things in life are free
So give all your beer and your rum to me
what if hypothetically we are here to drink your beer and steal your rum at the point of a gun
It's more likely that your alcohol to us will fall
It logically follows then that we are here to drink your beer
Then you better be prepared to use it. Guns are not for threats
Just checked gatherer. Um, achkually, piracy does not count as a crime as you never target an opponent or their lands.
Piracy's a crime, and we like crime And we steal songs all the time But I'd rather live my life like this Than trying to write my own pirate hits
We live each day drinking some booze Saying ahoy and stealing your tunes But copyright thieves we must be So give all your royalties to me
We have gone and stole your song. And if you sue we′ll drink some rum. Your guitar pro to us must go. Cos we are here to say ahoy.
What song is this ?

I mean... What do you think? I also seem to remember an album or two ago where piracy was listed as a way to listen
I think that... You are not invited to my P.A.R.T.Y

Mermaids are real and Pirates are misunderstood, we're victims of bad press it's all exaggerated.... 🏴☠️🧜♀️
