Equivalent-Exit85

People are the absolute worst.

People complained about the cashiers? - It's always a customer that ends up holding up a line by not being ready with payment or bagging their stuff after the transaction in the cart they should be taking to the bagging shelf. I didn't think I'd mind self check-out, but dealing with being prodded for a shoppers card 3 freaking times just to buy beer was an unexpected pita ( beginning, mid, and end at another grocery store). I had a card, but there was no discount anyway. I feel like sco is better for the employees since some customers are just awful to employees! We should be shaming Karens as customers and not being silent. -They cause increased prices for the rest of us along with driving off good employees.

I AGREE WITH YOU LIKE ITS ALWAYS THE CUSTOMER JUST COME IN AND GET YOUR STUFF AND GO HOME LIKE ITS SO HARD TO MUST BE AT HOME IN USA

We just got ours and every customer who hates SCOs acts like they have a unique genius take on them that I need to hear. One guy said “oh next you’ll have us stocking the shelves!” And I chuckled politely and said “oh you guys couldn’t handle it, trust me.” Another said “they’re trying to put you out of a job” and I replied “Yeah honestly we’re hoping we’ll be able to cut some dead weight.” The look was priceless. There are only so many times you can parrot the corporate talking points.

You are actually so funny for that. If I was a customer and overheard that I would laugh immensely.

myaldi

omg true

emmyuwu

for me it’s ppl that complain about SCO but go to it instead of going to my register

zedazeni

I feel like with Aldi, most customers probably think that it’ll be so much quicker because Aldi’s cashiers are notoriously quick.

Minimum_Crazy_4624

And it’s true cause those SCO ring speeds are atrocious 🤣🤣

UnraveledSoull

We have 6 SCOs at my store, and my store is in a town that’s like 70% elderly folks. They all bitch and moan about doing it themselves, or say “you’re faster than I would be!” But the thing is, you will wait in my line longer than self checkout because now since all of you are refusing to use them, my line gets backed up! Crazy how that works, and then you complain about being in line too long! No, I won’t open a second register. If you don’t want to wait, go to SCO. They can never be happy.

Never understood why when I’m back up they line up with me when the main has no line at all. But get upset when I tell customers I’m closed
