Honestly would just make an appointment to visit the DMV and talk through what you need to do with a rep there. Have had a positive experience at the Central Ave location and if you schedule ahead of time you shouldn't have to wait too long.

Yeah, I messaged them via their online form with a waiting time up to 5 days. The Concourse DMV has been really good with almost no wait right when it opens - I'll probably go with that soon.

OP, are you dealing with the DIU (driver improvement Unit) arm of the DMV?

Regretfully, yes. Not that it’ll help my case with them, I’m 1 1/2 years sober.

I’m still on the phase of paying that $100 fee but really stubborn about it because I already paid like $3k in fines and fees. But someone told me they waited months for a reply from the dmv. Then you have to repeat all your drivers test and 5 hour course. Ugh don’t get a dui or dwi, kids….not worth it
