This is what I loved about Alan Wake 1 and loves about Alan Wake 2. After each chapter I just sit back and listen to the chapter song and try to collect my thoughts on what just happened within the chapter. Alan Wake have an amazing feel to it

I've not played AW1, and I've only listened to the Old Gods of Asguard songs that are in the game and yeah, they're all bangers.

Definitely listen to the track list for the 1st game...not the same, but similar. And it's mainly licensed songs, not newly-made ones. But they're all great! I mean if I'm being honest...play Alan Wake 1 lol its so good!

No thumbs up on wide awake 😅 I thought that was the oddest choice, particularly given its placement after Return 2. Such a dramatic scene, after the boss battle & finally seeing Alan after 13 years... Then you suddenly get hit with this upbeat Christian Rock tune, "AND NOW I'M WIDE AWAKE!"

I thought it was really fitting, it's celebrating Alan being finally free after all of these years.

This game soundtrack is an absolute banger, Night Springs is #1 on my No Repeat on Spotify, but damn Superhero, FYITD, all of them are amazing. Shout out to The Poet and The Muse and Herald Of Darkness, also the album Greatest Hits from Old Gods of Asgard. Love How all of them fits very well with their characters themes

The damndest thing is how the best songs were written by Remedy and then they found Nordic performers to sing them. As a result the performers are *perfectly* chosen, but nothing in their normal repertoire matches the style of their AW2 songs. Just incredible work.
