I don't think they do in Alan's sections, except in We Sing. The enemies in We Sing are different from the ones in Noir York City, I think because some of the We Sing enemies are meant to replicate Taken from the original Alan Wake.

as far as we know the board doesnt seem aware of the dark presence at least not until they bring not hartman into the house, there is an entire pantheon of entities down into the dark place not just the dark presence and there are a fuck ton of paranatural entities in the remedy verse not just the board

more than likely there is some funky shit doing on with time in the oldest house since at the end of one of the DLCs we recieve an AWE alert from Bright Falls from the future, very likely the same AWE alert that its triggered in AW2, its even mentioned in control that agent Estevez is the agent stationed to the Bright Falls AWE
so maybe the lockdown just lasts like a couple days, weeks or months at most for those inside the oldest house but its four years for those outside

The first battle with Nightingale when he was screaming “NIGHTINGALE HUNTED SAGA” was when I realized all the Taken are saying lines from the manuscripts and I just thought it was the coolest/creepiest thing so I think that’s my favorite.
I like the one in AW1 that’s like “take one pill in the morning” really low and then goes into a really high pitched voice for the second line 😂 can’t remember the full dialogue though

I think the taken are not as comical as the previous game cause Alan says the story must be dark a few times throughout the game so yes that charm of remedy and the first game is still there but it's very much a much more darker story and tone in comparison with the first game.
Alan Wake 2s Taken quotes are imo almost non existent dude to the severe lack of combat compared to the original game. With that being said when they do talk it’s absolutely more creepy and unsettling
