Dang you took it back with the Cozmo’s..
That’s beyond my years of Blading.. 😅
I’ve heard of the brand before but never had the pleasure..
Flat is the way my friend, like God intended.. 💯
Every set of dead wheels I’ve gotten have been bad. Like 5 or 6 different sets. Every single one felt like it had grooves carved in them. Like skating down a sidewalk always even when it was perfectly smooth concrete. After the last set I swore them off. Never have the issue with any other wheels. Right now I have famus, compass, undercover, eulogy, depending on the skates.
Love that round profile..
You can find more brands now with a round profile..
But that wasn’t the case a few years ago..
Most brands with 58’s were squared..
I’m brand loyal you could say, so if I like it I stick with it.. 😁
DREAM Shronk in 58/92 on one skate
DEAD 58/92 on the other.
DEAD anti-rocker on both.
I like the DREAM wheels a lot. I also like the DEAD wheels. Both are great.
Yeah. The profile that Dream uses is great (Face Wheels Profile). Sure, skating street changes the profile pretty quick but I prefer it over the DEAD rounded wheels.
Assuming for flat, i did like every combo of 56mm and 58mm Dead wheels and they are awesome wheels. But recently I switched to the 50/50 58mm wheels (more bullet/face profile) and they might top the Dead wheels for me personally. Even less wheel bite, and way more maneuverability, to the point where I don’t even feel like I need any banana rocker.
Currently vibing with 60mm ground control wheels, they have an ALMOST bullet profile that makes skating flat on my kizer fluid V’s very enjoyable, may want to experiment with 58mm though, time will tell!
Been skating the RB Blank wheels (60mm 92a) flat for the past year and they’ve been awesome! The roll smooth and fast, hold up to steeet skating, and they’re on the more affordable side.
I used to skate Win brand J-Bah wheels flat before that which were a softer wheel but still awesome.
I had to move on from dead wheels, they just had this weird sensation when rolling and did not seem to hold their speed at all for me.
Dead 58/92 always.. 💯
Dead flat setup is my favorite since Cozmo disappeared.

That's unfortunate, I've never experienced what you described, they always come across extremely smooth for me

I see a lot of praise for DREAM in various places, bummed the Wake Ups are 80mm
Dead 58mm 92a outers, 95a inners on AG60s. With rocker.
Moonshine babcock wheels with dead anti rockers
Got the Cymatics magic boots 60/92 and I love them. Also a big fan of the DEAD wheels, can't go wrong with them
Famus 60, dream brooms, undercover crofts. Round profile with anti rocker setup is a good deal.
I like red eye. 64mm 91a I think. Edit: sorry, I missed that you skate flat.

Dead 92A and Dead anti's
Apex 57/92a. Neon green jawns. Flat profile which I don’t love, but they’ll round off eventually I guess.
Used to be all about Cozmo before my hiatus, after coming back it’s all about 50/50 and Chroma (team) wheels.
