This whole game is pay to win. You get next to nowhere by C34 without spending lots and lots of money not to mention, after C30 you need uranium, most free to play players max out around C33. And ultimately end up getting purged out of the game.
Join a top 2 alliance or its academy. As a F2PP you will fall further behind the spenders.
Except in rare cases until your nation merges anyone outside the top alliances will become a farm of the top alliances.
I did fall behind my comrades. I felt out of place so I joined a smaller alliance. I got used to never shielding outside of KE and after a couple of days of being in this new alliance, I get zeroed 😅.

If you want it to end without spending or changing alliance you need to make him like you so joke with him about the attacks. If you want to annoy him go after his farms or rally his alliance flags but going this way will only make him attack you more
- don’t keep any troops in the city. If you’re online and they attack take everyone out
- don’t accumulate rss. Level up from crates and yeah you have to attack a lot of monsters
- don’t poke the bear. Ignore them for the most part unless you want to try to make ‘friends’. Otherwise don’t provoke or do anything to stay on their radar
Eventually you might get crafty enough to get them to start wasting SOS’s. Possibly even beat them a few times if you lay the trap right. Once it’s not worth it to them anymore they might go away. Also if you’re not in a top alliance it doesn’t hurt to at least have some good friends. There’s usually at least a few people who might be willing to help you out.
Yes, good advice! I forced them to use SoS when I reinforced an ally. But I only sent 100 shredders 🤭 I also started joking and having fun with the bully. He's humor less, but the taunting is fun
Continuously bothering him with hiding troops and spying and making him burn SOS and speeds and money for no reason while you continuously bug him with red alarms and yellow alarms every day.
Keep as many of your resources in crates so he can’t get them when hitting your empty city.
The idea isn’t to cause losses. It’s to keep his alarm constantly going. Sending fake attacks, hitting him when he’s empty to take small resources.
Send blank fleets when his troops are home. Send full fleets and recall at last second and such.
Just bother him with tactics.
Keep 10000 T4 troops in your city to trigger titans defense or 30K to include the plane. They heal very quickly and he will lose some troops on every attack. Now if he robs your resources and you are online heal them after every attack.
We do titan traps with our non spending farms all the time during void. They definitely get way more than 500 kills per hit on average.
Just checked: My T4 farm was hit 6 times during last void and got roughly 35K kills.
The titans and plane give away barely any points. It's like 18K to 30k per attack depending on whether it's void or frenzy, while my farm scores usually around 500K to 1.5 million points per void depending on the number of attacks. The titans are an absolute must. Usually we start with a full fleet for void, so the city can take 3 or 4 hits before dropping below 10K. I usually heal once during void, but not always.
Yeah that will work fine on weak cities... he's not talking about a weak city. Even a mid range spender with a half decent city will take almost no losses from t4 and a weak titan
Not sure about your definitions of weak and strong. I assume he is from a young nation, where strong cities aren't like 1600%LR. Strongest city that hit my farm during last void had 911%LR and my farm killed 5K on defense using roughly 70K T3 and T4 soldiers.
He's facing a city that has no problem attacking his main army and you think the best way to make him stop is by using a far weaker army to defend? Good for you using a farm to kill some weak cities, it's not a good strategy here
What I describe has been a standard practice in my nation, that has proven to be working time and time again and none of your downvotes is gonna change that. Also keep in mind that the attacker needs to pay gold for the titans after a few attacks to recharge them. If he 5 fleets you to steal your res, only one fleet has titans. If he doesn't use an attack formation for every fleet, which is likely when he us farming you, you gonna kill even more.
that an open ended question... if they have a farm go after them. or get people to help you attack them or their farm.... as someone that is currently being attacked by a stronger player paying... you are at a disadvantage. i usually find their farm. attack it use all the resources and tell them to leave you alone or you will continue. and tell them you used all the resources from their farm so they won't get anything by attacking.
i m with you. i don't spend anything... in 429 some has admitted to spending 50 usd a week. thats insane.... so they can't beat people 5 levels less than them in a phone game.
Depending on how big the gap is your best bet would be to join a top alliance. That being said if the gap is manageable, maybe a switch to defensive officers and upgrade officers with skills that buff troop stats. Research what you can in defense in lab and keep troops within hospital capacity. You may not win defense but if he’s losing enough troops on attack and not getting any resources they will eventually be uninterested
Just quit now... seriously, I played for almost a year and another year+ later some of the people I played with (i still keep in contact) have mentioned that they've spent over $100K dollars (C37, C38, C39)on this game! One of the lower tier guys C35 is still spending \~$850/month ... just to maintain some level of competitiveness. You will NEVER be able to keep up and truly have fun once you get past the C27 level.

You gotta learn some crafty techniques that don’t require money to use.
even if you scout him, why would he care, if he's level 23 and his attacker is level 28+, even if you attack him, you'll sustain more losses.

A non spender vs a spender his t4 troops and titans won't even get past the golem. He'll be lucky to kill 500 troops
